Brinkley giggled rather childishly and flashed a bright smile to the enraged female. "Why, that was for fun of course. Why else would I tie up a complete stranger?" Being completely oblivious to her anger, or maybe he was just pretending that she wasn't upset, he turned his attention to the kit that his buddy was wrapped around. "Because this grownup likes to have a little fun every once and a while. Being serious for too long is boring." He made a silly face then looked back to the brown female. "I suppose you'd like it if I untied you?"
Noel shook her head at Brinkley's antics and used a paw to rub her eyes. "Can you not be serious for more than five minutes?" Hopping up onto the tree trunk she surveyed the land, making a note of all the stars. "I think maybe we should all think about heading back to someplace warm?"
Too many people. Nekoda shivered slightly from the cold and curled up tighter around Blueness. "Yes, someplace warm sounds comfortable right about now. Blueness I think you really should get going back home."

Blueness pouted. "But I wanna play with you guys now! You're funny, and strange, and nice!" she looked up at him with imploring, dewy eyes, filled with just the right amount of hope, the right amount of hope. The eyes that her parents found almost impossible to refuse, the kind that made Chai reconsider whatever she'd done.
Chai sighed. Her eyes - so big! So pathetic, and adorable, staring up at them and begging her to let her stay. Oh, how did the ball of fluff do this, to tug at her heartstrings and make her imagine things that she had years ago forsaken. "I'm sorry, blueness. We need to let Tantra and Topper know you're safe, and I' not going to leave you alone again. tell you what - if these three are okay with it, we can come visit in the morning."
In a heartbeat, Blueness' heartwrenching stare was directed on the other three wishes in attendance.

Nekoda sighed and smiled a little down at the kit. He was shivering more now but he couldn't resist Blueness, and it seemed that even Chai couldn't either. "I suppose we could make that work. What do you guys think?" He turned to Noel and Brinkley and waited for their consent or dismissal.
"For sure, you are one cool kit." Brinkley chuckled and nudged Blueness' cheek with his muzzle. "We should find a bunch of games we could play and then just fool around all day. That would be completely awesome." His tail was twitching with excitement as his mind raced.
Noel looked at Nekoda then Brinkley and grinned. It was easy to see that the two males were smitten with Blueness. "Well, even if I was opposed, and I'm not, I'd be outnumbered anyway. Go home and talk to your mother and we'll be here tomorrow morning it seems."

Blueness smiled widely. "Yay! Thank you!" she said, running up to cuddle Nekoda. "I'll be here tomorrow morning, I promise! Get warm tonight, so we can romp in the snow or something!" She turned off with Chai. "G'bye!" she said, and started bouncing through the snow, keeping up with Chai's pace without much effort.
Chai frowned down at the little kit as they began to leave. "You know, it's no fair when you bat those big blue eyes... that kind of cheating shouldn't be allowed." She was half-serious, as always, but this time, caught in the thought of a certain black-and-white wish, who she would have to talk to about some things, some time.
