I was working for a startup clothing company/store. I was the only employee. I worked with the two owners. It was an energy sucking, tension filled place. *shudder* My boss kept pushing me. So when she started getting in it with me about what is expected from me over the next few months, I couldn't take it anymore. I said, "Well actually Elizabeth, I am planning on quitting in two weeks." Then she kind of let me go on the spot. I was supposed to work on Thursday, but the snow messed up the trains too much. I'm not quite sure what she wants from me for the next two weeks if anything.
I'm feeling a little lost at the moment. I'm sure this feeling will pass. I just need to calm down and focus.

Sounds pretty rough, what did she say she expected of you? D:
Was it really that bad all the time or did it just escalate to the point where everyone snapped one day? I think the economy is putting a lot of small business owners in a bad mood. Even my boss has been on edge lately.
Do you have a fall-back plan as far as a job goes?
