Eviotil quirked a brow and actually taking the smaller mare's suggestion, turning slowly, the rabbit was at too much of a distance for her to catch it via the usual means, so instead an etherial smoke like substance came up and slowly made it's way towards the bunny. Quicker than the rabbit would notice it was suddenly snared in something almost unseen and being dragged towards herself.
The purple mist raised up the rabbit and rather than her normal way of playing with her food, Eviotil simply bit off it's head, bones and all, crunching away at the bloody mess she'd made. She was seriously hungry, so her manners were lacking as she devoured the little corpse.

Hearing the crunching noises and continued to eat the grass. While she didn't disagree with other breeds doing what they did to survive, seeing a mutilated body wasn't something she wanted to do with her stomach pushing her to eat as much as she could. After all, Who knew when she's find more grass like this. frosts where known to settle in out of the blue.
Finishing off the last bit of visible grass, she pawed as some of the now to see if maybe there was more that hadn't broken through just yet. Seeing none, she walked over to the stream and got a drink. Her tail gave a small swish as she stood there with her head bent down and her muzzle in the water.

Eviotil finished her meal rather quickly, not taking too much time since she'd been starving, her mind absently wandered to the thought of having been cruel to that one stallion earlier in the year. He was quite amusing and had been a great stress relief.
Gingerly she walked to the stream down from the other mare and drank, washing off her muzzle as she did so. It wasn't exactly thought out courtesy, but it was a courtesy to the other mare who obviously was an herbivore. Her eyes looked off, she was mostly satisfied with the food she'd eaten, and her stress level wasn't too much. She settled down for a spell, figuring the little twit she'd run into would head back to wherever she'd come from. Most times they didn't actually hang about, and she was fairly glad of that.

Once she'd had her drink, she looked around before noticing that the other mare hadn't quite left yet. Walking over she gave another smile. "So,anything else note worthy in this forest?" The food in her belly was giving her a bit more of an edge on exploration of her surroundings now. She'd give way to the drowsiness later after she'd satisfied her growing curiosity of the forest.

Eviotil blearily stared up at the mare who was still standing. Then got to her hooves. Great now the twit wanted to explore. Heavily sighing, her mood not being quite as nasty, "Well, there's the rabbit burrow, obviously where I do a little hunting, but not too much as I don't want the little buggers to move."
She moved towards an odd clearing, "Usually in the spring and summer the willow trees in this direction are great for hiding out in, either under the foliage or higher up. Though you've got no wings so that might not work out so well for you." Her smile was a bit mean, ill intentioned perhaps, but she wasn't being outright nasty, she wasn't in the mood, and as long as she didn't get into a fight with this twit, it would be fine.
"What else do you want to know, since you're new to the area, it's not like you've got that much of an idea about life here, right?" It wasn't quite a mocking tone, only a little sarcastic, but not too much to be insulting.

Shoshana grinned widely allowing the slight sarcasm to roll off her like water to a duck's back. "Well.. there is a few things I'd like to know... Like how big this forest really is and where the more open valleys or mountains are. You know show a girl around a bit? There's got to be more around here than just where the two leggers reside and this little bit of forest." Her ears were perked showing her curiosity. She couldn't help but to even giggle and prance some in place as she thought of what exploration awaited her.

Eviotil rolled her eyes, she suddenly realized she was about to do a whole ton of walking that she didn't want to do, but being in a slightly amicable mood, she wasn't just going to ditch the twit...not yet anyway. It would be more amusing when she left her out in the middle of nowhere, lost and totally incapable as Sho didn't seem to be bright enough to find her way back.
It was a slightly dark thought, but it did put her in the mood to move, "The forest is not small. It stretches for quite a few miles that direction. Then you hit the real mountains. If you head passed the two leggers towards the sun, you'll find the open planes, that lead to a bit of a jungle-like area. I haven't been the the cemeteries or the ruins, but I hear they're interesting." She shrugged and moved to let Sho follow her deeper into the forest, depends though mostly if you would prefer the mountains or the plains. Plains you might run into more Soq, mountains...you might run into some nasty Kalona's that'll see you as a nice. meal. Unless of course you can charm them out of eating you." She giggled a bit to herself.

"Thanks, it's so nice of you to show me around." She beamed in her usual care free friendly manner. "Kalonas huh? charm them from eating me? I don't really think all of them are as nasty as they're made out to be... I'm sure they're friendly f you just smooth out their rough and gruff edges some." Following she eyed the way they were taking, she didn't want to forget anything. Breathing deeply, she memorized the sent of everything around her. Sure the cold air stung a bit, but at least she wouldn't get lost. Not now that she'd set it in her head to be more careful and take better notice of things.

"Right. I'm no where near as nasty, as long as I've had something to take out my annoyance on, I'm wonderfully sweet and even helpful." Her eyes rolled a bit as her tail swayed behind her, sifting the snow out of the way, wings shifting and feathers falling singeing the snow as they went. The scenery got darker and darker as they went deeper into the forest.
There weren't many changes, save for the amount of light that came through the canopy of barren branches. Her eyes lit on a rather nice hole where there were several remnants of Soquili, normal, Kalona...and a few of the mutant variety. "Hmm, seems like either a dumping ground for dinner, or perhaps a place they fell into and died." She took a bit of a closer look, making sure to keep the edges a safe distance so that her larger form didn't cave in the sides.

Curiously, she edged carefully forward and peered into the hole. "Hmm.. wonder what use this is.. it sure would be a miss fortune to stumble upon this in the dark.." Shaking her head she edged around the hole. " Smells full of mud.. and dead decaying leaves thought.." She couldn't see how Eviotil might be seen as a threat to her. in her eyes she viewed this other mare as more of a friendly sort than anything that could possibly see her as the evening's meal.

She sighed, "That's because the decayed bodies are nothing but bone. Probably happened before winter set in." Eviotil actually wasn't really up for ditching her, at this point she was finally just giving her a nice tour. Strange how she was being awfully friendly, but then she had taken out her aggression on that little kalona male. "Alright, onward, there should be a cave and it seems to be getting on towards night," She glanced back to where they had been. "And trekking back in darkness is bad enough on my own, I'd hate to think of the target we'd make for some idiot stallion. Besides you wouldn't want a stallion to pick up and think I was holding you hostage." She laughed a bit, thinking on how comical it would be for some 'big strong' stallion to come save the little twit she was busy showing around, but then males tended to assume she was entirely vicious and evil, Meh, let them think I'm always plotting. It's more fun when I can play the innocent part because I'm not planning anything evil.
The going was a little slow but she managed to find her way to the cave that she knew fairly well, "Ah, home sweet cave...Well, winter home anyway."

As she followed, she cocked her head to the side some then giggled. the image of some bird brained stallion attempting to be 'Sir Galahad' nearly sent her rolling with giggles. Shaking the thought aside she entered the cave and looked about. "Seems cozy enough and at least it's warmer inside than out in the snow." The cave smelt damp but warm, or at least not the biting cold of the air outside. Fresh cool air did seem to blow in however with a small drift of snow as snow started to once again begin to fall. It looked as though the might also have to sit out a winter storm together. " Think this might turn into a blizzard?" She asked as she stared out the entrance of the cave. Already the snow fall was beginning to make things less and less visible.

Eviotil sighed, "Slightly warmer. It's a bit better when the human's here, but we can suffice off of what is here if there's a storm." She nosed around a bit, flicking sticks into a pile in the center of the cave, there was a stone circle that she was busily filling up.
With a great amount of concentration, and solidification she used her purple flame/mist and lit a nice cozy fire on the less damp sticks that crackled quite nicely, "there, warmth to last a few hours, with that she flopped down on one side, which made a large thud noise. Once again showing she was far larger than normal mares, and larger than those of her kind in many respects, "Now then, what to do till we fall asleep?" Unlike many, she was not the type to sleep standing, it always left a crick in her neck. Besides what idiot predator would go after something that mean looking?

Walking over to the fire, she too laid down. The warmth was quite a welcome thing to her though she was far more use to seeing fire in her two-legger's teepee. "Hmm... I guess maybe we could take turns telling a story.. make up the parts as we go along." She didn't like to sleep standing either, preferring to lounge on her side. How often was it she was in any real danger any ways. Most things just saw her as not really something to want to kill at least from her own view it was like that. She was disillusioned that she was too peaceful a mare to have any real harm befall her.
