Cookie felt weird, zooming with nothing to push off of to turn or steer. But soon enough they were flying out a hole from a nearby tree. The infant used that to turn them back around and fly towards Mommy.
Lam was surprised and looking worried, but let out a breath when the two reappeared. "it may be time to stop now honey."

Kaito sighed in relief as they came back out into the fading light. Was it really about dark time already? The boy pouted softly but realized that it probably was about time to go.
"Otay." He hugged Cookie before sliding off of her back and back onto the gazebo. "That was fun, Cookie!" His gaze went up towards the sun that barely hovered in the sky now. Surely Mommy would be up soon too.

Cookie mewed and let out a little purr in response. The shadowy place had been sorta scary but that had been fun! She curled easily in her Mama's arms when Lam caught her and snuggled her.
"It was very nice to meet you Kaito but it's getting late. You should probably go inside. We may come to visit another time." she assured him pleasantly. "Good bye."

"Tay! Be ca'ful!" The boy waved happily as the two left. Cookie was a cool friend and he was still hyped from the flying fun. But what did the woman mean by late? He giggled. That was silly! It was like morning for him now which would mean-
"Kaito."
Kaito turned happily at the soft voice and let out a giggle as he rushed into his mother's arms. "Morn' mommy! I fell outs and was playin' but they hads to leave." He snuggled into his mother's cool body.
"Oh, really?" Lyoko smiled- her fangs flashing white in the darkness. "That must've been fun."
"It was it was!" And Kaito was still laughing happily as he disappeared into the darkness with his mother.
