JuneBerry Pugnacious Banana I love your Chibi Moon edit. ^__^ Thanks. That was my very first edit ever. whee i remember when you posted that one. you've gotten alot done since then battle- don't feel bad some people have more experience with certain programs... at least that what i tell myself xd ... so berry if i'm wrong don't correct me. beside everyone starts at a different place in their lives... (like me... i'm older than most in this guild so if you go based on that i should be a lot better...)

Personally, I'm majoring in fine arts, so I guess I have a bit of a head start compared to some people. -shrug- I guess it also helps to be able to catch onto things quickly. So how old are you, btw?

So how old are you, btw?be careful how you word that. some people may take offense to it. i believe everyone has artistic abilities, just at different stages like i said before. i already have my major in fine arts. but sometimes confindence can be precieved as arrogance.. i'm not telling you i believe this to be true, but i've had it happen to me. and i was hated by everyone in my class. personally i went to school for abstract type art, so if you ever see my drawings or paintings it's quite different from my edits. but i've always enjoyed trying a new art form until i feel i understand it, then i move on. so others may have great artist abilities, but just not in this particular field so do not start off with edits like yours. i really hope you didn't take any of what i said as an offense. that is not my intension. and i apologize if i've hurt you in anyway because of this. well however old i am my birthday in my profile is wrong... (not a good idea to give away too much info about yourself)

Oh, no offense taken. smile I wasn't trying to sound arrogant or offensive either. I was simply saying that having natural artistic abilities (being good without schoolin') or artistic training (being good with schoolin') is a bonus. When you're young (or simply inexperienced) and haven't had the time to develop your skills, it's not that you don't have abilities, it's just that you haven't honed them yet.
It's difficult for me to talk about my work for the very reason that you pointed out. It can sometimes come across as arrogant. My deal is that I start off really good at things because I catch on quickly. In this case I found a good tutorial (thanks Lucca) and that certainly helped immensely. My problems come later in the game when other people continue to advance and I don't. It's really quite unnerving. I'm having this problem right now in my major, graphic design. But I won't talk about that right now because it gets me down...

But I won't talk about that right now because it gets me down... sorry. what i was trying to say was the way it was phrased, could sound like other's don't have build in artistic abilities and can hurt some. honestly i don't know if i have them built in or not... i went to school for art... but i'm a writer by nature. funny huh? to me it doesn't matter who's has what abilites or what not. i live my life with this motto "no matter how good you are, there will always be someone in the world better than you" so for me i create what makes me feel good and as long as i'm happy with it, it doesn't matter. i only commented because i was afraid someone might be hurt. in all honesty i love every picture i've ever drawn or painted. i think all my stuff is fabulous. so i understand. i quite often come across as arrogant. but to me it makes sense. why create something if you don't like it? right? and don't worry. everyone learns things differently. i'm a steps type of person, where you see a steady, progression. though sometimes it still take me a while to figure things out. i've been editing since may and i just recently figured out a great way to alter bases. but i'm sure your problem in class isn't as severe as it may seem right now. and you seem like too smart of a young lady to let it get you in the end. i'm sure you'll figure it out. but if you ever need to vent let me know. i'm a good listener. And in my post I sounded a little bitter. I was basically trying to say that you have no need for the beginner because you're like a pro already. Talk about wording things wrong >.<
