He should have expected it by now, such a reaction from the woman who had him on her death wish list. He hardly registered her fist until it smash into his cheek, sending teeth biting and a future bruise forming. He also felt something else on his cheek. A familiar sting that only came from one thing. But, that wasn't possible. Looking up, he got ready for another blow when he noticed what he'd felt scrape against his skin.
"Is that a ring?" He paused to examine it, foreboding battle forgotten.
"An engagement ring?"

Her fist, which had risen again to land yet another blow across his face, paused mid-air. Eyebrows lifted as she hesitated, staring at him in slight confusion before her left hand sank down.
If there was one weakness that Nealite had, above anything else, it was herself.
She glanced at him, as if making sure that his comment wasn't some sort of trap, and once she determined he was genuinely surprised by this discovery, quickly tugged her glove off and presented the back of her left hand towards the young boy.
"Uh-huh."
His suspicion was confirmed with a grin as the hand wiggled slightly, the gleam of the diamond shining and making her feel giddy once more. God, she'd never get over that feeling. (Regardless of the fact that it had been her that had to shop and pick out the ring on her own.)
"Unlike your little silly infatuation with Linarite, which will go nowhere, my man just so happens to know how to win a lady over."

He just stared at her. And her ring. Her engagement ring. Somehow, it seemed so impossible, so improbably, it was just...unfathomable. "Uh...Congratulations?" In an odd sense, he couldn't fight. He was just in shock. She was getting married.
The comment about Lina only drew a sharp reply. "Considering I am still in school and I bet she is as well, such things are planned at a later date. As for it going anywhere I'm happy with where it stands." Liar.
Him and the Shakespearian love interest aside, Castor stood up and offered a small smile. "So, you and Obby going to make it a bid event? A Negaverse party? Leave your starseed at the door?" he chuckled, just thinking about it. "Do I need to buy a gift?"

"Planned out in Hell, maybe," she smirked, sliding her glove back onto her hand. She was proud of her ring, just as she was proud of her fiance and the fact she was soon to become the future Mrs. Killingworth.
Her smirk fell, however, as Castor questioned the groom. She stared at him, confused, and once it finally hit her, she started laughing. Hard.
"Obby? Obby?"
More laughter bubbled up, and she struggled to calm herself down. Oh this was too good. Too good.
"No darling, I'm not getting married to Obsidian." Her grin was back in place and she gently flipped her mirror over to ensure the small tear that had formed in her eye hadn't smeared any mascara. Satisfied with her appearance, her gaze returned to the senshi. "But you've met him, and I'm quite sure you'll remember him. Tall man, dreadlocks, nearly killed you with his whip?"
Her head tilted, smile still lingering. "You know, General-King Charonite? But I think your star seed will do just fine all the same, dear, as an early wedding present."

"Uh....What?" He scooted a bit away from what was no longer Nealite. Now, all he saw was crazy lady who was talking about marrying a man who had made Castor feel legit fear. "Are you mental?...Also, I'd get you some cooking utensils and nice linens, how about tha- wait. I'm not going to my enemy's wedding." He had to stop himself. it was just so outlandish to him. "And I am certainly not getting them for your General-King."
Crossing his arms, he scooted once more for good measure. "He's your boss isn't he? How the hell does that work? Not only that but...the guy looked what, ten years older then you? Can't be more then 25 yourself."
He grinned, "Unless, that is, he's your sugar daddy. It would explain how you became a Captain with all your sucking..." His grin widened. "Literally I suppose."

"Look who's talking, you little asswipe. You didn't become Super until I nearly killed you. If you want to talk about sucking then look in the mirror!"
Another step forward made up for his retreating, and her mirror rose in the air. "Used to be my boss, dear. It was time for a change. Just like how there's about to be one less Super Senshi running around!"
One leap forward and the mirror swung, missing him entirely. She swung it back in the opposite direction and connected with his shoulder, forcing what weight she could on the swing.
"And since when do you care who I marry?" She laughed, drawing back as she quickly remembered the icy punch he could potentially return back at her, "Don't tell me you're gettin' soft for me, sweetheart; you'll break poor Lina's heart!"

Used to be her boss? Wasn't she still his subordinate? The clip to his shoulder sent Castor back a few steps, but not before his arms crossed, protecting his chest. "I still think you just get lucky. If I recall, You caught me unaware twice, and tricked me once. Hardly fair." Lowering his arms, the senshi of hail was feeling a bit confident.
"What happened? He get a demotion? And I hate you, Lina is ten times better then you." Nealite knew how to get under Castor's skin. Partially because she was Nealite. He just didn't like her.

She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, watching him closely as she darted in for another hit. He managed to block it and send her back with his own swipe, and she reeled back as his fist made contact with her shoulder.
Wincing, she forced out a laugh, refusing to let him see her in any state of weakness.
"Wouldn't you like to know. Unlike you, however, I don't intend on spilling out all of my secrets."
She winked and motioned as if she were moving forward, attempting to fake him out. It was a shame she was weak at physical battles, but moreso that none of Castor's attacks could be useful for her mirror. Oh well; she'd nearly defeated him multiple times before, so there was nothing that said she couldn't do it again!
"And awww, come on, darling! I heard you were with Tanzy as well. If you were so interested in tappin' some Negaverse a**, I could introduce you to a few more girls? You know, completely prove this whole 'love' theory wrong that you were spouting off at me earlier? Because smooching on others really shows your true feelings, darling, let me tell you."
Her words were surprisingly bitter with her tease. Nealite still hadn't gotten over the fact that her best friend, out of all the ******** people in the world, had been with Castor, of all senshi. Castor!
Raising her fists, she set herself on the defensive, should he attempt to head her way. "But it's alright, I don't mind if you don't hit on me. I'd hate to play sloppy thirds. Or is it fifths by this point? Shame you don't have a true relationship, like what I have."

"Aw, but sharing is caring Nealite. Don't you care?" Another dodge, another failed swing. A dance of swinging fists and mirrors. The comment about Tanzanite did make one swing of his falter, going a bit wide. "She kissed me. And I was trying to convince myself I wasn't in love!" He was staring to yell, rage and confusion exposing his chest behind wildly swinging fists. "But you know what it showed? That no one but she makes me feel that way! No one!"
His face was red, both in anger and shame. "...At the very least you did let me know one thing...You're not the loveless harpy I thought you to be. If anything I'd think you'd not meddle in our relationship. I don't mess with yours!" His expression was a mix of embarrassment and frustration. It was kind of silly.

"Convince yourself you weren't in love? Hardly. It sounds more like your d**k was doing the exploring, not your heart."
Scoffing, Nealite shoved his excuse out of her mind. Tanz initiate the kiss? No. Tanzanite knew better than that. This little p***k, somehow, some way, must have seduced her. The purple haired girl was far too dedicated to do something so.... just, no. No.
Moving forward with swaying hips, she gloated over the fact her relationship was strong, much stronger than some stupid hormonal coupling between a horny Castor and an utterly retarded Linarite. She knew it from the start. Now it was simply proving itself to be true.
"You'd have to have a relationship first, for me to meddle with it, dear. Loveless, no, but there's more to my relationship that just... caving in to horny urges with the first blueheaded slut who's willing to let you stick your tongue in her mouth."
She expected him to yell back at her. To use his hail, to scream and argue with her, to defend his poor little Linarite. What she was not expecting, however, was his hand against her face.
He slapped her.
She stumbled to the side, caught off guard, and one hand flew up to press her palm against her stinging cheek. The ********... the ******** had bitchslapped her? What the ******** hell??
Glaring at him as she composed herself, she growled, "If you wanted to fight like a girl, Castor, dear, you should have said so from the start. I'd be more than happy to oblige!"
One hand shot forward, fingers extended out like claws. And, like claws, her long, perfectly shaped fingernails raked against his cheek, digging into his skin as she pulled them across his face.
If he wanted a catfight, she'd give him a catfight!

Rage burned behind deep blue eyes. The idea of Linarite as a whore made him feel...well, it was on odd feeling to be sure. It was offensive, but, it also made him question himself.
Castor hated questioning himself. It was always so confusing.
The slap was rightly deserved in his mind. Nealite was going to act like a b***h, then damn, he was going to treat her like one. The nails, or claws in her case, were not welcomed however. Why couldn't she just go down and- "Die! You damn freak! I'm just treating you like the b***h you are!" Grabbing a fistful of her long orange hair, Castor gave it a firm yank, his other hand busy keeping those damn claws out of his eyes.
"I should have ******** killed you when I had the damn chance!" There was nothing pretty or refined in how they were fighting. It was akin to a lover's spat, only when the lovers had nothing but hate for each other and would normally lead to a domestic violence investigation.

Never in a million years had Linarite thought she'd be frantically running about town, looking for her arch-nemesis. She'd checked the mall, running about like it was Black Friday, no avail. The woman wasn't anywhere she'd looked around town, the several stores and spas about town, which meant she had to be moving about as Nealite. The first place she bothered to check, was the park. Something drew her to the bench where she'd met Castor, and the sight there was enough to freeze her blood entirely.
There, brawling like common drunks, were the Captain and Castor - two people she never ever wanted to see at the same time ever again. Throwing herself out of the tree she'd used to stop her whirling momentum, the lieutenant dashed over towards the pair. "Captain, stop!" Try as she might, she just had to look down, right into those blue eyes to see if he was ok. "Captain Nealite, you have to come with me rignt now."
Lina tried to make her tone firm with a slight edge of urgency, but to her, it only sounded shaky and feminine. The odds of Nealite listening? Slim. But she had to come. What she'd found at Hillworth made her panic, and only Nea could help.
