Satoshi walked towards the destroyed battlefield. He saw a cloaked figure, dressed in a gray a red cloak. He walked towards that figure. "Long time no see huh?" He asked the figure. It nodded. "You might want to start getting a little more serious, we are trying to hunt down some savages after all, it would be a shame to have you eaten." Kai's cloak hid his grin. They were both standing on a hill about 15 feet high, overlooking ruined plains overcome by foliage and littered with weapons and armor attached to rotting skeletons. "That's no way to treat an old friend now is it?" Satoshi asked, slightly pissed off. Kai was in his usual gear. Shortsword, Akatsuki was now strapped to the back of his waist, a scythe was strapped to his back, and he carried around 12 daggers. Satoshi was traveling lighter, a buckler strapped to his left arm, and a large longsword was on his back. He was wearing leather clothing, with a tattered dull green cape waving in the wind behind him.

Three rouge tribal warriors smelt the scent of two prey entering their territory. The savages started jumping and howling like wild and insane animals. They were hungry and needed to eat something soon. The charged towards the area that they knew their hopeful dinner was waiting for them. Dirt kicked up high in the sky as the trio stampeded along the dead grasslands of terrain. As they trampled over and cracked the skeletons of fallen soldiers their targets came into sight. The shortest of the tribal warriors wasted no time as he chucked his spear directly towards the one with the scythe on his back. The tallest of the tribals grabbed firmly onto his axe as he made a wide horizontal swing at the back of the one with the longsword. The more muscular of the trio charged towards the same man with the longsword with an almost identical sword that he took from the hands of a lifeless soldier.

Both men turned, to see three crazy tribesmen rushing at them! "Looks like we have company!" Satoshi yelled out as he drew his sword. Kai quickly moved out of the way of the spear, catching it barely by the end of the spear with his right hand. By this time Satoshi had ducked the axe strike, and he thursted with all of his might at the abdomen of the attacked, careful not to aim at any organs, as they had to bring these guys back. The swordsman also looked to see another charging at them with a sword. Kai moved around Satoshi and his foe, and threw the spear ate the joint connecting the warriors right shoulder and torso. The two dark army members wanted to avoid as much trouble as possible.

As the sword of Satoshi pierced the belly of the tribal it let out a loud scream. His blade cut through the insides of the rouge warrior and cut through the warriors back. In a desperate attempt to take out the man who wounded him, the tribal swung quickly and vertically one last time. The spear connected and instantly the impact of it dropped the charging warrior to his back, he was down but not out. As Kai was busy with the other warriors the shortest of the trio came charging at him with a full force baseball slide to knock him down into the ground.

Satoshi blocked the slash with his shield, and then quickly pulled the sword out and headed towards the muscular warrior, not worring about the taller ones wounds, he could deal with that later. Satoshi stabbed downwards towards the muscular savages left shoulder, in an attempt to cause pain to both arms and make the foe black out. Kai grinned when his shot hit, but he then found himslef tripping over another warrior! The footsoldier rolled when he hit the ground, and got up while pulling out his scythe, and he took a vertical slash quickly the same non lethal spot in the abdomen that satoshi used. Kai was behind the warriors head, so he wouldn't se the attack untill it was to late.

The attacks from the two warriors were too much for the tribals to take. They were all down but not dead yet. The muscular warrior was out cold and heavily injured. The taller warrior was badly wounded and on the brink of death. The slash from Kai's scythe damaged the short warrior badly and he was instantly dropped down to the floor. As blood oozed from his body, it let out loud ear shattering screams.

Satoshi quickly jabbed at the side of the taller warrior's head with his shield, to knock him out. He then went to tie up the warriors extremely tightly so they could be easily carried. Thats when the screaming started. The short warrior started to wail like a banshee! Kai covered his ears, and moved towards his foe, launchign a powerfull kick to the head. "Shut the hell up!" he screamed.

Kai turned to Satoshi. "Okay, then, let's bring these guys back to the empire, we can come back for more later if needed." And with that, the duo headed off towards the Dark Empire, the three tribal warriors in tow, of to claim their reward.

Kushina walked a few steps out onto the destroyed battle field. Looking around, she scanned the area for any signs of life. After a few minutes had past and nothing showed any signs of attacking, she turned and walked over to a rather old tree. Sitting under it, she leaned against it and closed her eye's. Kushina had just filled her stomach up and wasn't in the mood to do anything really fast and requiring a lot of movement but would if that point came. Closing her eye's, she allowed her other senses to become alert, making sure nobody would sneak up on her.

Growing rather bored of listening to the sounds around her, Kushina opened her eye's, the light blinding her for a few seconds. Then standing up, she stretched her arms out, taking her surroundings in one last time. "Well... I believe I've been here long enough and nothing exciting has happened. Time to move on and find something to do." she mumbled to herself, as she started to walk away. Just as she was about to disappear, a dagger flew past her head, hitting a tree not far from where she stood. Examining the small weapon she sighed out. "Of course I can't be left alone long enough to enjoy myself..." she thought to herself, placing her left hand upon the hilt of her katana. "Okay... If you were smart and thought this threw. You would have already known that I'm not the type to randomly attack. For it tends to tick me off." she clearly stated to the person behind her.
Pulling her blade slowly from the holder, and tilted it slightly so she could see through it. From where she stood there was a rather dirty man not far behind her. He looked awfully hungry, maybe even hungry enough to be carnivorous. She watched as he suddenly pushed off from his spot and threw himself at Kushina. Not feeling like making a spill. Kushina waited for the man to reach her before she acted. Turning around just as he went to attack her, she pulled her katana out of it's hiding place, but only half of it showed. She brought the hilt of the sword into the man's gut, digging it in deep enough to hurt him and put him in a blinding pain that would knock him out. "A true fighter, never uses his blade, unless things get ugly." she whispered to the man as he fell to the ground limp.
Putting the sword back, she placed a hand upon her hip. "Wow! You look even uglier then from what I had seen threw my blade." she stated. Taking one last look at the unconscious man, Kushina turned around and left the field, not wanting to cause anymore attention.

Kushina walked back out onto the destroyed field. Looking around she noticed the body she had knocked out earlier was now gone. "Didn't take that guy long." she mumbled to herself. Walking back to the tree she sat under before, she leaned against it. A rumbling noise came from her stomach, so she placed her hand over it. "Aw man! I'm hungry!!" she groaned, falling down to a sitting position.

Zero walks through the field, he sees mostly the remains of the soldiers and weapons. "How bad was this war? Looks like whoever owned this kingdom lost horribly." He continues walking stepping over a few skulls and bones and moving the grass out of the way, even saw a vulture eating the remains of another body. "Nice..." Zero was kind of grossed out by the view but in the end didn't know what to expect. "Somebody seriously needs to cut this grass or something, who knows whats in here." he finally sees Kushina next to a tree. Zero walks over to her and stands there. "Hey you okay?"

Kushina looked up to see Zero standing by her, and talking to her?! Wow was she becoming popular fast. "Hey. No, I'm fine..." she began but her stomach stepped in and growled. Clutching it harder she looked up at Zero with blushed cheeks and a smile upon her face. "I suppose there's no chance you didn't hear that!" she asked with a bit of a laughing tone.

Ikemen had nearly caught up to Zero by the time they'd made it to the battlefield. Zero was in visible range and Ikemen could see that he was talking to Kushina. The jealous fire that had brought him here was reignited in him. He just had to keep it under serious wraps. As he approached the two, he panted heavily and condensed some water from the air onto his skin in an effort to make himself look tired. He still didn't know if he could trust Zero enough to let him know the limits of his strength just yet. "Nice job leaving me alone with "ZoneOut" back there guys. Real nice.That's totally what friendly people do."--------------------------------
