Sai was done pretending to get to know her now. he knew what he needed to know, and would ask Selene for any pertinent details later. Kai would come to understand that despite the fact that Selene called the shots, hers and Sai's goals were completely in line with each other, at least in terms of how they could be accomplished. By that merit, it was every much his right to know Kai's goals as it was Selene's right to know...at least in his mind.
Sai went to move his left arm to begin eating when he realized that the new chakra burns generated from the Chakra Shift had rendered it more or less immobile, though it was not completely limp. Only the slightest glimpse of discomfort and inability to move his arm could be read by Kai, but it was certainly there as another wave of pain shot up his arm at his very attempt to use it. "I must have only healed about 1/4 of the way I needed to, even after a full cycle..." Disregarding the matter, Sai reached over with his right hand and took the chopsticks as he immediately dug into the food, consuming a bowl of noodles in an alarmingly fast rate as he was voraciously hungry after his ordeal last night.

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!kai looked away from him while he was eating like a maniac she hated the smell of rice and fish so she just waited for selena "...by the time he actually wants to heal those...burns they will become permanent by the looks of it..he got them 1 day ago or a shorter period" she thought "...akatsuki the most ruthless organization..i chose the right place to come" her thoughts just kept going answering questions she made

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai continued to down his food voraciously, barely even stopping his eating for even a second as he moved from one bowl, to a plate, to the next. After only a few minutes, all of the food had been consumed and sai brought he dishes back to the sink, showing no emotion of enjoyment or relief to fill his empty stomach. rubbing his arm slightly as he looked down at it, Sai marveled at his body's ability to dull and numb the pain the burn caused him, knowing that the average person would not be able to act normally under the same conditions.
He had only just waken up, but his body was still weak. He needed at least another full cycle of meditation before his body could return to normal, and that is what he panned to do. "Well Kai, it's been a real pleasure..." he said rather sarcastically, But if you'll excuse me, I must be off to meditation. Sealing the Shukaku with just the two of us was rather taxing." without another word, Sai began to leave the kitchen, having to pass her before he could get to his room.

Death walked up to room. He opened the door and walked in. He seen Sai and Kai but he did not say anything. He then remembered he forgot to put on the ANBU mask. So he did as he walked to his room and lied down to rest tell he was needed

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninWalking past Kai, Sai went to the doorway to go back to his room as another unfamiliar face passed by. He looked up at the man, as he was easily a foot taller then Sai and looked into his icy blue eyes as he walked passed, saying not a word to them. He watched the man pu ton an ANBU mask and walk down the hallway and all Sai could do was shake his head... "Great, another one. They just keep getting better too. I wonder when I was going to be informed of this..."
Disregarding the though, Sai sighed and walked back to his room, looking around at the mess, he grabbed a bunch of soft bedding that was around and placed it in the middle of the room. Sitting down Indian style on the mattress, Sai let out a deep breath as he placed his hands in his meditation seal and began the process to rest and complete his healing.
"You can never know my pain..."

Selene stifled a laugh, realizing Sai might have killed Kai for all she was worth. With more vibrations, Selene made her way to the meeting room. "All members report to the meeting room." Within a moment, she had traversed the wandering halls, and entered the meeting room.

Death came back to the Dorms in search for his partner "Sai!!" he said looking around. Once he found his room he knocked hard on the Door "Sai god dam it get the heck up time to hunt" he said as he wanted to get more bodies for his Rinnegan. Death then pulled out a Note and wrote on it 'Went to cloud in search for the Nibi Will not attack tell you have came So Hurry the heck up' he then taped it to the door and walked out.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai had heard nothing by the time the meeting was announced, nor did he hear his new partner knocking on his door, he was far too deep into meditation to hear or sense much of anything. Selene would understand and would not care, and was he who did her the favor in pushing himself further then he should have to seal the Shukaku. Either way, he was useless without this anyways, so healing was his number one priority. At the end of his meditative cycle, Sai's eyes opened quickly, awakening him to the world again as he felt pain flood throughout his body. Waking up from meditation was always jarring in this way, but now he woke up solely to the pain he felt at a baseline state.
Though it would seem strange to describe his constant pain as excruciating considering he was able to function normally as far as anyone else could tell, only someone such as himself could know what it was like to experience. Sai's body had adapted however, and he had learned to function with the pain... so just as he always did, he got up from his meditation and opened his door up to see what was happening within the base.
As he closed the door, he saw a note... 'Went to cloud in search for the Nibi Will not attack tell you have came So Hurry the heck up' After reading the note, sai made no outward expression, but was annoyed none the less."Damn newbies..." Sai knew that it was not Selene's writing, and the tone was not that of Kai's who he had spoken with earlier. He could only assume that it was the tall man he had seen before. these were of course all assumptions he wouldn't have had to make if his new partner would have cared to explain what had happened, but Sai had figured it out on his own.
Placing his hands in his pocket, he looked over himself quickly, noticing that the chakra burns were all gone. Noting that after two days of rest, he was back to full strength, Sai walked to the meeting room, grabbed his cloak of red clouds and hat and exited to the Base's entrance.

Death walked into the dorm Holding his ANBU mask in his left hand. He would walk up to his room and open the door. The wind rushed at him making his black hair with Blood-red highlights flow in the wind he then walked into the room and shut the door and lied down to rest tell Selene came back from her mission. He lied his Mask next to the bed.

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!Kai walked int he dorms and to her room opening the door to her room and walking in she put the files from mist in a book then put it in a shelf so no one but selene could find it then hanged up her cloak and hat then layed on her bed in a black shirt showing a inch of her belly with a fish net top over it and baggy boyish pants as she drifted off to dream land I hunt you down ok? So stay still it will only hurt a little! Ok you will die, But it's worth it.
