That first bit of HOR Ive found is entirely tank dependant. If you have a shitty tank its going to make it a lot harder to heal. Ive got TOC gear and have run with both good and bad tanks, but no matter how much gear you have it wont be enough if all the mobs arent being picked up.

I guess so. I got back to the tank I went there with, and I found out he was DW tanking ... I'm pretty sure that had plenty to do with it. :/ It's not that he wasn't picking up mobs either--I have run into DPS that just doesn't focus fire and just hits whatever they want. I just can't heal him through the damage he's taking, and I think the DW tanking thing is what the problem is.

I like HoR a lot. I think it's fun, specially the DPS race part while running away from the Lich King. (Can you tell I play a dps class? haha!) However, you have to have a tank who can handle it. Regular HoR is easy and it doesn't really require this so long as your dps can kill fast but in heroic, you really need a tank who can hold thread and knows what the hell their doing. We wiped once on the last wall because the tank didn't grab aggro on everything so the other mobs pummeled us (the once we weren't attacking) and as a squishy cloth, I got raped. Kinda sad to have a wipe on something like HoR when you're ICC 10 geared crying

I love Halls of Reflection.

The other 5 man ICC instances were disappointingly easy, but the third is a bit more punishing. I haven't totally wiped it yet, but had enough close calls to feel like I could have been in immediate danger.

So far, LOS seems to work best for me, IF everybody complies. The problem is that most people run out into the middle as soon as one mob comes over, which usually means that a rifleman, priest or mage will stop midway and start casting at them.
My rule is.. If it happens more than three times, I just won't taunt off of them.

There's nothing funnier than seeing DPS steamrolled because they wouldn't listen. smile
