Gwin either didn't notice or didn't care that the boy had decided to strip half naked in front of her. The female was truely oblivious. She gave a soft chuckle.
"I don't paint all that wonderfully... what little talent I have I've gotten through several years practice. Gwin, my name is Gwin by the way." She inclined her head and turned back to the painting, dipping a fresh brush into the fresh paint and laying it delicately to the canvas, making it blend with the rest of the previously painted colors.

whiiiirl...
whirrrl.
BING. The microwave went off, but the femme was -now- completely submerged in her painting. Usually she wouldn't be so rude, but when something was half created in front of her...
well she had to finish it.

(sorry its late, and short x-x; muse went -POOF- )

The microwave went off and Gwin didn't so much as flinch. He couldn't help but give an amused sigh. It was weird how he could flip a switch like he was when he was curious. "Gwin...." With that in his head, he went and grabbed the cups and put one on the counter for when Gwin was actually ready to drink it.

Moving up behind the female, Weylyn flicked his wet tail and watched her paint. It was an interesting, beautiful painting. The way she moved her brush made him think she had more hidden talent that she wasn't saying. Who was Weylyn to question her, though? He'd just been completely and utterly crushed in front of her and now he was trying to think of a way to thank her. Taking his cup to the couch again, he sat and pulled his feet up, wrapping one arm around them, the other balancing the cup on his knee while his head leaned back.

"Look... I'm ...I'm sorry about.. everything. Heartbreak isn't easy. I never thought I'd... be in this position." He wanted to give up on love or flirting, but that would be giving up on a part of himself; and that just didn't sit right with him. The Mane Coon didn't like that option at all. Snorting at the idea, he looked to Gwin, watching the lean muscles in her arms and shoulder blades move as she painted. She seemed a bit spacey, but sweet. Who knew? Maybe he'd be friends with her yet.

Now he was just uncomfortable in the silence. Looking to the side, Weylyn let out a sigh and then sipped at the contents of the cup. "I'll.. leave soon. So you can work in peace. Without having a suicide risk on your hands."

Slightly out of it Gwin turned back to Wey, cocking her head to the side. "why would you leave, when you just got here?" She lightly dipped the brush back in the turpentine and raised a eyebrow, a slow smirk falling on her face. "Do you like art Wey? Most moody people are artists... crazy... or poets. Love is just one of the things that can inspire us, even heartbreak is something that we can learn and express with a creative outlet."

And as though someone snapped their fingers Gwin had gone into teacher mode... with her best interests in the university. Perhaps he would cheer up around their -unnaturally- emotional bunch. Hell look at their leader, Alice herself was a mess most of the time. Gwin was relentlessly cheerful and determined, much like Remi... then you look at the ruins, their main allies, and you got a whoooole other bunch of crazies.

"I highly doubt your stupid enough to commit suicide." She said so in a voice that much resembled a pointing out of facts rather then a question. She sat on the back of the couch, kicking off her rainbow hightops and humming a tune to herself, lightly ruffling Wey's hair, not a patronizing gesture, merely a light fluff.

His hair looked so soft she had to.

And soft it was. His hair was actually well taken care of for a guy who didn't look like he kept up with bathing. At least, he didn't look like that right now. "I like... art. Music, actually. Painting has never been a strong suit, or drawing, sketching... whatever. I... I play the harmonica some, actually.. I want to learn the fiddle, violin, cello... The strings. See if I can do them..." He seemed a bit more alive when he talked about music, like she did with art. Weylyn didn't mind the hair ruffle; he loved people touching his head, like any cat would. he pushed his head up into her hand without much thought and gave a sigh.

"No, I'm not that stupid... But.. you seemed so busy. You didn't even hear the timer. Your cup is sitting over there," he said, pointing to the mug and then arched a brow. "Heartbreak is an ugly thing. It's full of pain, dark colors and tears. Inner turmoil that shouldn't be painted." That was his feeling on it. Some things were just meant to be private. "But.. I've seen some housebreaking, beautiful dark paintings.... I don't know. Maybe that's why I don't paint; because I don't understand what to put on canvas and what should be left in the heart." But he could give one hell of a tear jerking harmonica song.

Then his voice changed to singing; it was deep and rough, unlike his normal voice. He started singing 'Hurt' by NIN, only it sounding more like the Johnny Cash version. When he was done, he gave a pitiful smile and looked to Gwin with a sigh. "That... that song rings true to a lot of hurting emotion; not just heartache."

With a nervous chuckle and a fluffing of her own hair Gwin stood to go to the cup, only with a shrug of her shoulder. “I always get like that, but then so do most of the people around here.” She cupped the glass and stared at him while he talked about music. Gwin pursed her lips, trying to hide the smile forming but failed. She turned around and rummaged around her canvases searching for something as he sang his melody.

“You are really good, I’m not just saying that. Being a teacher I see a lot of talent, but you’re a damned good country singer in your own right. A bit untrained and a bit off in some places, but that would be easily corrected if you were really interested.” She found what she was looking for wrapped up in a red velvet fabric and tucked away on a bottom shelf. Away from prying eyes… and her own.

Turning around she handed Wey the bundle, as though it weighed nothing. “it’s the only one I made like it… and im the only one –well now you as well- that know it exists. Alice would kill to get this.” A bit reproachfully she uncovered the front, exposing the monochrome colors, picturing a girl standing in the rain, her head downcast to hide the fall of tears. Walking away was a man, clad all in black. It wasn’t hard to figure out who the girl was, but the male, well Gwin had to have her own secrets now didn’t she?

Teacher? Well, what do you know. The praise was to much for him and he blushed and looked away as she went and rummaged around for something. He pulled his wet tail into his lap and attempted to dry it with the towel she'd given him. If there was one thing he was sorry about right now, it was letting it rain on him. She came back and looked at the bundle before she unwrapped it. When she did, his blue eyes went wide and he moved to touch it. However, before he could, he curled his fingers and looked up to Gwin. So she knew exactly what he was going through, it looked like. He wanted to pull her close and hug her, but instead, he patted the seat by him and gave a tiny, tiny smile.

"It's a good painting... I guess.... all emotion gets captured on canvas," he whispered, still looking at the painting.

Gwin smiled, shrugging "Everything gets better is the point." she gestured to all of the other vibrant paintings resting around the tiny shack. Her happy smile matching most of them. "You know, I don't actually sleep here often, so if you could deal with the smell of turps and drying oils you could stay here till you get on your feet again. Just need to let Alice know."

She sat and wrapped the painting back up, stuffing it under the couch without much thought. It had several homes around her studio... she didn't like to keep it in the same place after she had shown it to someone because she always found her eye straying back to it. That part of her life was over, done with... Gwin wouldn't let it plaque her any longer.

When she offered her studio to him, Weylyn couldn't help but find himself staring at the other in awe. Gwin had been nothing but nice to him, in her own, erratic kind of way. How would he ever be able to thank her? Licking his lips, he nodded slowly and watched the slender female flit around the place. She was graceful, that was for sure. She was a beautiful female, who probably had someone she cared for already. His heart was hurting and she was helping him pick up the pieces. Which, for Wey, meant an aweful lot.

"Thanks... Gwin.. I'll clean up after myself and.. you won't know I'm here." If Wey said he'd do it, then he would. He didn't want to get on anyone's bad side.

“I want to see you, that’s the point of you staying here. I love company, and I swear Alice has painted a sign above my studio saying ‘Do not enter, a dragon resides here.’” Gwin laughed at her own joke, running a hand through her hair.

“Art is made out of desire, and what makes you desire, more then good company?” She stretched and smiled, ruffling his hair affectionately, mix-matched eyes scrutinizing at the same time. It was very much a teachers look. “So none of this nonsense bout things getting horrible kay? No more suicidal tendencies, That’s my only condition.”

He listened to her and colored a bit. Well, most people would like to hear that their company wouldn't interfere with their lives, but she wasn't most people, apparently. Weylyn nodded at her condition. Maybe while he was here he could just.... forget about her. Forget about the heart break and work towards making his singing and harmonica playing better. "I promise, Gwin," he said softly, followed by a huge yawn. Seems being heart broken was tiring.

Gwin smiled and shook her head, ruffling his hair and tossing a pillow and blanket to him from a nearby cabinet. "Sleep silly boy. And remember if you do anything stupid, im resurrecting you and killing you myself." She stood up, gave a salute and sauntered out the door, leaving him with all of her pocessions.

She would make him sit for her later.

...trust.
