"That sounds good to me, Asher. T-thank you!" She stammered out quickly, "N-no one's ever been this kind to me before....let alone offer to show me movies!" Her tail swished happily for a moment, before she replied with a tiny squeak, "Why whould anyone want something that dangerous?" And she climbed up onto the step, as if that, if anyone had a lightsaber around, would protect her.

Asher grinned and nodded. "You're welcome." He said looking a little shocked, "Really? No one has been kind to you? Or took you to see movies?! Blasphemy." He rolled his eyes and shook his head. Seeing her move onto the step he cocked his head. "Why did you move up there?" He said catching the question, "Well Jedi need it to protect others and themselves against the dark forces. They only use them when they have to. It's kinda like why humans want and have guns."

"Well..." Lena started, shyly. "My daddy always was. And momma too. But I never talked to any of them that much...but my brother would yell at me all the time...then storm off in a huff." Looking to the side, she puffed out, frustrated at the memory and almost to tears, "Asher am I...so terribly different? What do I do to him that's so...wrong? I know I'm different....I know I'm not like the rest of my family...so what do I do that makes him hate me so much?"
At the question as to why she was on the step, Lena smiled lightly, "I just thought, that if lightsabers were real, higher ground would be better."

"Well you're daddy and momma have it right. People need to treat others with kindness." Asher said simply, "You're brother sounds like a bully. You know what a bully is right?" Seeing her get upset made him a little mad. He move towards her, wanting to reach out and comfort her. "No you're not. You're not terribly different. There are others out there who are more different than you. You're brother is just a big fat meanie and is, in my opinion, jealous of you. You're kind, sweet, and a wonderful shade of white." He said.
"Yeah higher ground would be better I suppose.... Never much thought about it."

He put it so simply, that Lena didn't quite know how to respond, "They always told me and showed me that, but I never expected it..." She mused, paying attention when he knocked on her brother. "He was jsut telling me that I didn't have anything to be sad about, all the time. And got so mad, because I was still sad. Because no one else in my family, is like me..." His next words, baffled her. Someone jealous? Of her, Lena, the runt? Asher's last words made her stutter in her thanks, which she didn't get out, for the tears started to flow from her eyes in a flood. Suddenly, Lena threw herself at the white male before her, and burried her muzzle in his scruff.

Asher was trying to calm himself from his little fury at her brother when she spoke. He never got a chance to reply to it when she said what her brother told her. Oi did he get it wrong! The brother wasn't necessarily picking on but was trying to help (though it seemed like he hadn't chosen the best way for it). He was about to apologize, for he was thinking that perhaps he had done something wrong in saying mean things about her brother, when she began crying. Oh great! Now he had made her cried! He was such a stupid guy! He was quite shocked when she threw herself at him.
"Uh....." He reached a paw up and patted her back, "You don't have to cry..... I'm sorry if I said something to upset you. ..... And you're brother did have something right. You don't have to be sad all the time. You should be happy! Being happy is so much better..... My sister would like to disagree but that's because that's just who she is. She thinks everything is sad and nothing is worth being happy for. And who cares if you're different from your family. It's better that way..... or at least I think so. Besides you might be like someone in your family that you don't know about."

Her brother had always been a confusing one, especially for the sensitive Lena to read. So when Asher offered an explanation, Lena calmed her whines, even if the flow of tears didn't stop. In the middle of his sentence, Lena pulled away from him, and shook her head quickly. "No, no no! Asher!" She exclaimed breathlessly, a surprising smile on her face, while she sent glittering tears everywhere. Purple eyes were half-closed as she gazed at him, and her voice was clear, even through the rush of tears. "Asher, you didn't say anything to upset me. Thank you!" licking the side of his muzzle, Lena explained herself.
"I am happy. Very happy!" Tail lashing behind her like a motor, Lena spoke swiftly, "n-no-ones ever said anything like that to me before...I didn't know how to react. But I am happy! You just explained my brother, and boy do I have an apology to give him..." Taking her attention back to the current moment, Lena smiled brightly, as the flow of tears had stopped, "Asher, no one's ever...made me act like that before. Or feel this way. So forgive the sudden tears.." adverting her eyes for a moment, she padded towards him, to give a very shy and unsure nuzzle.

So he didn't upset her..... these were tears of happiness? That he could accept after a moment. "Uh..... You're welcome?" He said turning red at her licking him.
He certainly didn't know how to react to this.... it certainly wasn't what he thought would happen, especially how Lena was acting now... it was so different from how she had been moments ago. "I..... I can forgive sudden tears." He said finally. He sat down when she nuzzle him, his eyes very wide. ...Wait? Make her feel this way? What did she like him or something!? Wow. His tail let his feelings, not yet fully form, show as it wagged.

Noticing his blush, and that she might be getting a little too close, Lena's ears shot back and she stepped back a little bit. "I'm..sorry. I just didn't know what else to do. When someone makes you happy, you're supposed to show it...and well, you just made me happy, is all...I didn't know how else to show it." She admitted, sitting down and looking to the side. "T-thank you for forgiving me, though!" her tail thumped against the ground, when she noticed that his did the same. She stared at it for a moment, before looking back at him with a shy smile.

"Nothing wrong with showing how happy you are.... it's a perfectly good way to show it. I just wasn't expecting it!" Asher said with a chuckle, settling back to his normal ways. He smiled at her and nodded. "Of course. You should always forgive one another." He said noticing the shy smile. His smile grew some at that.

Wagging her tail, Lena looked up at him, with a light in her eyes that hadn't been there when he had first run into her. It felt reassuring to be told that what she was doing was right and OK. Mustering up the corage, she suggested something, "I grow quite curious of this Star Wars...could we...maybe watch it...now?" Lena asked shyly, looking away from his gaze, as her tail slowed from shyness.

Asher was still smiling as she asked if there could watch Star Wars now. His eyes grew wide, as did his smile, and his tail began thumping the ground hard. "Really?! You want to watch it? Now?!" He asked nearly jumping on her, "Sure we can! .... oh wait! I gotta go get my tapes!...... Do you want to start with Episode 1 or with Episode 4? Episode 4 came out first but Episode 1 took place before that." He was already heading to the door. He paused when he reached it and looked back at her. "Coming?"

Hearing the loud thumps that his tail made against the ground, Lena concluded that she wasn't imposing, and her courage jumped back to life. "W-well, sure.." she stammered with a nervous chuckle, before letting a startled yelp fly from her lips as she was nearly jumped on, backing up a little bit. His next words made her smile, before a very confused look came across her features, "4 came..before one? Why do I get a feeling the makers of that didn't really know how to count?" she mumbled shyly, before following him, after a moment's hesitation, "I think 1 should go first!" she decided, rubbing her flank up against his.

Asher was a little mollified that he made her yelped when he nearly jumped her. When she caught up to him he nodded. "Well yeah. Episode 4 was made first. Before they even thought of Episode 1." He replied with a laugh, "Then we'll start with Episode 1!" He grinned as she rubbed against him and he opened the door. He waited till she walked out and followed after her. "It's this way." He darted off the porch and began heading for the woods.

Confusion sawm in Lena's violet eyes for a long moment, and she couldn't resist the relentless questions that flowed freely from her lips, "Then why did they call it Episode 4 if they didn't think about earlier episodes?" she blinked stupidly at him, but qas quick to bounce and follow him, at his side, where she was starting to grow comfortable. She had never been in the woods before; always cooped up in the house, or on the outside; hiding from those that might condemn her coat. And in the green and brown forests, white would stick out like a sore thumb.
