"I didn't say I wanted it" Ephraim snapped, giving off a slight glare toward the morph. What was his problem anyhow? So the lancer didn't want to leave it out alone, big whoop. But that didn't mean he wanted to keep it. Yeesh. He stepped over the wolf whom was still attatched to his leg to follow after Kishuna.

Obviously they had to find another way up..according to the morph anyhow..but already Ephraim was kind of regretting on coming along..with..this...moody person. Maybe make it up? Would he have rather become wolf food to those pack?? Besides, Ephraim didn't know where they were going, all that rang through his head that time was, Get out, get somewhere safe. NOW. "Well excuse me for wanting to live, would you have rather become their food? Certainly not"

Geez, anymore of this and Ephraim was about to hit the limit point of his patience. He usually wasn't this short on fuse but when you save someone about to be bitten and this was how they treated you then fine.

The wolf simply looked at the two confusively, feeling lonely again now that both person was ignoring him. They walked ahead and the small pup couldn't help but follow after.

Kishuna ignored this, not letting any expression show on his face at all as he approached the cliff. All right, this looked like a decent place to try and climb, and maybe this guy'd shut up while he climbed. That would be a relief, wouldn't it? He was kind of getting really bitchy now and it was really annoying. So the morph just started climbing, not bothering to look above him. It wasn't like there was going to be anything there anyway, it was a cliff. What kind of stupid forest creature was going to be on a cliff?

And of course, there was a noise above him. Fuuuuck, that sort of thing ALWAYS happened, didn't it? The morph really, really didn't want to look. Because knowing his luck it was going to attack him. Again. Like everything else. But of course he did look, because there wasn't a choice besides looking. And, standing on a ledge, in front of another cave, was what could easily be the LARGEST bear the morph had ever seen, looking downa t him in either curiosity or anger. Kishuna hoped it was the first one.

Then the bear reached down and whacked the morph with its paw, tearing gashes up his face and sending him tumbling about twenty feet to the ground.

Kishuna wasn't exactly thinking straight now; after all, he'd just been whacked in the head and knocked to the ground. Therefore, his attempts to scramble backwards ended in him going almost sideways and whacking into a tree. The bear followed him down, now clearly growling. Yes, it was angry. Definitely anger there.

Everything was pretty much going on in a rant in the back of Ephraim's mind. He wanted this over with and he wanted it over with now. Hell, if he knew where he was, he'd march straight back to Eyris and forget about this..'metal' Kishuna mentioned in the first place.

His mind went blank when a sudden 'thud' was heard. Ephraim turned, realizing it was Kishuna tumbling down. Following him was a freaken huge bear. Holy hell what on earth was that! WAs that even a bear?? With no time to think, Ephraim moved toward the animal. He picked up a rock from the ground and threw it directly at the angry bear's head. "Hey!!" he called, getting his attention. "Oh boy.." great, now what had he gotten himself into? He had the bear's attention..but there was also Kishuna he was worried about.

It swung at him and Ephraim ducked. Um..hello..you have a spear..use it. Well duh, what was the lancer thinking? This was why Kishuna asked him to bring it right? So use it! Ephraim lifted his spear off the ground, jabbing forward at the arm, cutting through the muscles. It cried out in a loud growl and came at the lancer once more.

No, No, No! This bear was not about to hurt wolfie's new found friend. It growled, barking and howling at the bear, trying all means to grab its attention. No use, it kept going after his green-haired friend. Finally, little pup wolf got angry and dashed forward, jumping on the bear's back and dug its teeth into his ears.

Ephraim took this chance and rammed the shaft of his spear against the bear's torso, knocking it back against the tree before he stabbed him through the neckline. It wailed for a moment before finally dying down. Not much of a fight..but then again..he wasn't in Kishu-Oh snap Kishuna!

"Hey" Ephraim called, taking a step toward the morph before changing to a full out dash. He knelt down, pulling the morph's head to settle on his lap. "How you feeling?" stupid question to ask but hey, he had to make sure the stubborn morph wasn't dead..otherwise, he'd be stuck out here with a crying wolf by his side. Ephraim looked around, picking up Kishuna's knife that laid near and cut a line on the bottom of his tunic before ripping it for a make-shift cloth.

Kishuna heard sounds around him, but he wasn't exactly paying the most attention to them. After all, he could see very much anyway. There were sort of... blurry, vague shapes around, but he couldn't make out what they were. Everything on his left side was red, how strange. He wondered why that was? Well, he did know one thing, or at least he had a feeling. He needed to move away from the sounds, the sounds were bad. So he tried to move back, but oh look, a tree. That meant he was in a forest, right? Haha, he couldn't get into the forest for the trees. That was funny, like that old saying. Except not exactly. In fact it wasn't really like that old saying at all was it.

But anyway, he had more important things to think about. The morph summoned his strength of will, pulling himself together and trying to concentrate on what was going on. First the sounds. They separated themselves, and he could hear roaring, and yelling, and things crashing into other things. A fight, clearly. Then sight. His eyes remained unfocused for a moment, then things slowly sharpened, and he got to witness the end of the fight; Ephraim's lance piercing the bear's throat and killing it via loss of air. Not the prettiest way to do it, but it worked.

Kishuna's hand went to the side of his face and he winced, pulling it away quickly. Ouch, that smart- his thoughts paused for a moment as he saw the blood covering his hand. s**t, that didn't exactly look good. And then the princeling was there, bending over Kishuna, using his own clothing as a bandage. The morph gave a slight smile at this; his previous animosity had pretty much evaporated. He wasn't nearly prideful enough to ignore when someone had saved his life. "... Thanks," he said quietly, almost below the level someone could hear him; but the person who did hear would know he meant it. The morph attempted to shift position, and winced again; it seemed the fall had damaged his back in some way, as well. "s**t..."

"Hm?" tilting his head in confusion. Wondering if he heard something wrong, but he was sure the words 'thanks' came from the morph. He smiled, tapping lightly at the blood that smeared around his eye. "Your welcome" The question next was..what do they do? Kishuna could barely move and Ephraim didn't want to risk the morph getting himself hurt anymore then he already was.

That bear really did a number..he sat there for a moment until Kishuna tried to move. "H-Hey" he called, pain washed over the morph's face and Ephraim reached out, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Take it easy for a bit..it looks like more then just your cheek was injured" For the time being, Kishuna's head rested on the lancer's lap, until he was able to actually move around without being in so much pain.

He sat like that for a while, still tending to the bruise on Kishuna's cheek. "It stopped bleeding..that's something good"
PostPosted: Sun Dec 13, 2009 6:19 pm

The morph blinked; the young prince was being extremely kind to him, wasn't he? How different from just a few moments ago.... although he supposed it was his own fault that time. Maybe that was why Kishuna wasn't exactly good with people; he was starting to realize that he was kind of an a*****e. Well damn. He probably needed to fix that, didn't he? Maybe he'd start with this one. Seemed like as good a place as...

And then his thoughts were completely derailed by the fact that Ephraim had just pulled the morph's head onto his lap. Kishuna stopped thinking about his injuries - at all - and instead was distracted by what he was now lying against. Well, well. Now he had another reason to get to know the lancer better. But Ephraim's hand was still on his face, and for some odd reason, all of a sudden the morph found a slight flush beginning to grow across his cheeks. W-what the hell was this, he didn't blush, no matter what he was doing. He'd had enough experience with all sorts of things to be used to any of them, so why was this so different?!

So instead, to hide it, the morph attempted to pull himself up.... and failed again, completely, falling back into Ephraim's lap. There it was again. Augh, why was he still thinking about that?! "A-all right, I think I can go... just help me up, and I'll be fine," he told the lancer, though his voice sounded a bit strange and he avoided looking at him.

Ephraim sat on the dirt for a bit, helping Kishuna up on his feet. He stood up for a good two seconds before wobbling around. Ephraim picked him up straight with his body weight and shook his head. "..You sure about that..?" not quite confident in the fact that the morph was alright. Why the sudden change of attitude anyways? Maybe he was actually just..grateful to have his life saved? From an actual near death experience actually..yea..that was probably it.

He allowed Kishuna to walk on his own for a little before deciding to help him all the way. "Why don't you just let me help you..you could use it anyways" he took Kishuna's left arm and swung it over his shoulder, giving the morph a little support to walk against.

The brave lance was still stuck in the bear's throat and..although that wolf..had been ignored for some time. It jumped up and down on the corpse, trying to reach the shaft until he got a grip on it with its jaw. It growled a bit, shaking before it popped out of the flesh and landed atop of the small pup. It yelped, rolling to the side against the dirt and looked at the spear. After staring at it for some time, it grabbed the end with its teeth, spear head dragging behind and followed the two.

The morph TRIED to walk, he really did. And he totally would have made it, too, it the ground would stop ******** moving around. He glared at it for a few seconds, trying to make it stop moving. It didn't, but he did, almost falling until the prince rushed up and grabbed him. Oh, that was rather nice. He could get used to having someone carry him around all the time. Hopefully if his head wasn't hurting so much, next time... But hey, right now they had other things to do. The morph raised an arm, pointing up towards the cave he'd been trying to get to; of course, there was a much softer incline to the right that could be seen from this angle. Just his luck. "Onward!" he cried, then laughed, a bit shakily. "Not giving up yet, got it? We're going to make you the best lance you've ever had, Eph." He didn't even notice that he hadn't called the boy 'princeling' this time.

And then they were moving, Ephraim pulling Kishuna's arm over his shoulder. And oh, convenient~ the morph's hand was resting right over the prince's chest. Under the pretext of adjusting his position, his hand came down, pushing on the young man's chest. The morph grinned to himself secretly; there was quite a nice curve of muscle there, and his hand trailed it just a bit before he got situated again. Yes, he was definitely keeping this one after they got done.

And then that wolf again, walking up in a sort of sideways fashion, dragging.... a stick? This wasn't time to play fetch, pup. Kishuna almost snapped at it. ALMOST. But then he realized it was the lance Ephraim had been holding, and he let out a soft little laugh. Maybe the little guy was useful after all. Hey, it even had blood on its teeth, regular little fighter, wasn't it? Kishuna reached down, and his fingers just barely scratched the top of the little wolf's head, said creature immediately stretching up happily to recieve its scratching. Kishuna then pulled the lance from its jaws and handed it to Ephraim. "Hey, if something else comes up, just drop me. I'll be fine, you need time to attack."

Of course he wasn't going to give up. But whether they actually made the best spear or not was in question. Ephraim really didn't care, as long as it was a spear he would be comfortable with. Although that wasn't the lancer's concern right now..he was more worried that Kishuna had gotten hit on the head a little too hard..He was..acting...a little weird....yea....that bump on the head sure did a number alright...he was almost convinced when the morph had suddenly called him 'Eph' instead of the usual princeling title.

...

Best have him checked when they got back to Eyris.

Ephraim jumped a little, almost questioning what Kishuna was doing with his hand..considering it was pushed up against his chest for a good..oh I don't know....10 seconds? 15? Maybe more? He figured it was to adjust his position but that hand position didn't feel like shifting his position.

The little wolf was following alright, in a short amount of time it was attatched to the two..just what gender was this little one anyhow? Bah, they can find that out later. The brave lance was kinda shoved in his face. Ephraim turned his head, listening to what Kishuna was saying about ...'dropping' him if he needed to fight. "Mind holding it? I'm a little tied up with helping you" he chuckled at his own comment, if either hand was carrying that, it'd hurt them both. Best to just have it dragged along or held by someone else.

"Also.." Ephraim spoke up again. "I don't approve of 'dropping' you..."

The morph was not thinking of what he usually was. Usually, he was considering the best way to get laid, but today.... Mmm, maybe not. Only maybe, but it was different, at least. He kind of liked this one, not just because he was hot. Although he certainly was hot, no argument there. But... maybe he would keep this one. It'd be a nice change for once, right? And it shouldn't be any big problem~ Heh, well, he'd have to work on that later. Right now, he was kind of concentrating on making it forward.

He shrugged when Ephraim refused the spear, lifting it over his free shoulder. "Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you. If we get attacked and I have to hold it off we're not going to do very well, even when I had a blade I didn't use a lance, and that was a good thirteen years ago. Not like I remember it at all." But really.... if something came at them this time, he could just get them out of there with a warp. Although he might feel just the least bit guilty about leaving that pup... nah, who was he kidding, he wouldn't feel bad at all. If something happened, goodbye, puppy. His skin was more important.

"And, I don't care if you 'approve' of dropping me or not, kid," the morph said with a grin. "I'll just fall over myself, I can still do that much. Not going to have you get hurt because you're supporting me, right? Besides, I'm a sitting target, they'll go straight for me if you're not protecting me." The last sentence sort of seemed like it had been tacked on to seem like Kishuna was more worried about himself, though.

And the cave was right here; this one had a tunnel too. Seemed like all these caves honeycombed, just like Kishuna had thought originally. That was good, it boded well for them being able to get to the top of the mountain. So he tried to walk towards it, sort of bringing Ephraim along with him. "Alright, in here~"

And of course, there was a ledge. Almost high enough to reach the top.... but not quite. It was just a bit above his reach. So instead, Kishuna devised a solution. "Here, you go up, I'll pass the critter to you, and then you can pull me up." The lance got to serve as a makeshift cruth for a moment; then Kishuna offered his hand for Ephraim to step up on. He got on the ledge, but seemed to have some trouble in pulling himself up. Kishuna took this chance, slipping behind the prince. "Oh, need a bit of help? Here, I'll help you out~" This help was given in the form of both of the morph's hands grasping Ephraim's butt, pushing him up... and giving a soft squeeze before he pulled his hands back. Hehehe~ This was just too much fun.

Whatever, they were almost there, doubtful there'd be anything to fight in the first place. They'd be alright anyhow..that was until they came to the ledge. Damn, well that was a big bummer.

Kishuna suggested allowing him up first. Ephraim was about to protest, but tried to climb up anyways to pull the morph up. Hand was offered as a step and the lancer took it. He reached the ledge..only he wasn't quite capable of pulling himself up. A little more...strength..and-

"Oh, need a bit of help? Here, I'll help you out~"

Help? Well..he'd done more then enough actually and he was sitll injured, how was he able to stand up? Ephraim was about to refuse the offer until a hand came to rest on his a** along with the add on of a slight feel of it being squeezed. That caught him by complete surprise, Ephraim let out a fairly loud yelp and rolled on the ledge on his back, staring in the sky with wide eyes. His hands were shaking a little and he could feel the beat of his heart pounding against his chest. W-What the hell!? This guy was crazy!

Ephraim laid there for a good few minutes or so, completly spacing out until the pup barked, only then did he jump and sit up. He looked at his hands, still shaking a little. He crawled over to the ledge, peeping over it a little with a slight blush across his cheeks that were obviously hidden behind the ledge he peeked over.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 14, 2009 10:14 pm

Kishuna didn't say anything, didn't even MENTION the groping, nor did his face show anything of it. He simply smiled up at Ephraim innocently, lifting the pup-wolf with a gentle heave. The wolf plopped onto the ground next to Ephraim with a gentle "Worf" sound, and then shook itself and got up to trot a little ways down the tunnel. "Now that you're done with your break, can we keep on going?" Kishuna said with a laugh, raising his hands to take Ephraim's. The lance was moved about for a moment until Kishuna finally realized he couldn't carry it and toosed it up on the ledge instead. The wolf promptly grabbed it and trotted over to the two with it, sitting there happily with the weapon in its mouth.

Kishuna, of course, without any support immediately fell facefirst into the wall. "Ouch."

But, he got up, face pain or not, and Ephraim being embarrassed or not. "Alright, now we've got quite a ways to go, we might want to step up the pace," he commented. They resumed their positions, moving through the cae once again, at a slightly quicker pace; obviously they couldn't move as well as they wanted to with Kishuna injured.

Being a cave, it had its share of pitfalls; a near-fatal fall into a crumbling floor had Ephraim rushing to grab Kishuna, the pup valiantly tugging at the lancer's pants leg to help. Scary, certainly, but it also had the effect of popping Kishuna's back into its normal position... Of course, he still complained for the next five minutes or so. But, that was the morph, that was how he was.

Surprisingly enough, Kishuna managed to save Ephraim from danger as well, tackling the young man out of the way of tumbling boulders... and, just as surprisingly, grabbing the pup by the scruff of its neck to pull it along with them. Ugh, being nice like this and putting himself in danger was against his nature. He'd been a mercenary originally, and.... ugh, he was only doing it because this princeling was hot. That was the only reason, none other.

And then there was a faint light up ahead, and Kishuna stopped, completely, with a frown. He stared intently down the tunnel, a hand going to Ephraim's shoulder to stay him. "... Do you smell anything?" he muttered, sniffing the air intently. "Something... burning, maybe? It's weird, the air up here should be clear..." He, of course, wouldn't be able to feel the soft aura of magic pulsing through the air now. Ephraim wasn't a mage; but he might feel something, nontheless, an odd tingling sensation of sorts, one could say. The pup trotted about in circles around their feet, looking appropriately silly; either it didn't notice the magic or it didn't care. More than likely, it was both.

Ephraim didn't say anything half the time. One after another it was either, sudden tumbling boulders, falling off the edge of the pathway..etc etc..whatever. Point was, this cave wasn't all that safe. Both were saving each other's hide at one point. Ephraim managed to save Kishuna once more from falling to his doom when the floor had suddenly collapsed and Kishuna had saved him from when countless rocks and boulders came rolling down the pathway. This was not that easy as they had thought. Somehow the wolf was surviving well with the little help of the two.

The morph stopped him, he felt his hand on his shoulder. Ephraim turned, wondering what was wrong. There was nothing left to be attacked by but..wait..did he say something burning? The lance lifted his head, taking in a whif of air and turned his head in the direction of the light. "Now..that you mention it" something felt oddly out of place. There was no fire..but the clear smell of ashes was in the air..a little soots was seen against the wall..just a smidge though.

He was about to say something once more until some unknown object came flying at him. Ephraim dived toward Kishuna, shoving him out of the way along with himself. The object flew past them and out the cave, barely either of them could identify what it was. Ephraim groaned where he laid. Man, he hadn't expected he hit his head on the rock and..Oh god.

His cheeks immediatly turned bright red as he realized during that dive dodge, they ended up rolling against the ground and somehow Kishuna ended up hovering over him. It was..a rather awkward position if anybody actually saw it..The two were a little..tangled up. Ephraim was splayed out on the floor, Kishuna's left hand a little off from the side of his rib cage while the other was on its elbow near his head. The legs however, were in a rather more awkward and embarrassing position that Ephraim would rather not have happened in the first place. One leg...Ephraim didn't know which one, was beside his hip while the other settled in between his legs and pushed up a little against his groin. Oh dear sweet mother of- What was he thinking!?

Ephraim couldn't move...he couldn't move at all. Not until Kishuna got off of him at least. He dare not say anything, what was there to say in the first place?? This whole scenery was like a rollar coaster disaster in his mind. His cheeks grew more red the more he thought about it.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 15, 2009 7:07 pm

Kishuna wasn't entirely sure what happened; one moment he was standing up, the next he was on the ground, rolling, Ephraim holding onto him at the same time. What was the princeling tackling him for? He hadn't done anything this time.... the lancer was acting like something was attacking, but Kishuna hadn't seen anything. And what the hell, that had hurt, he wasn't wearing a shirt and now his back was scraped up. s**t, maybe not wearing a shirt into a rocky cave hadn't been all the smartest idea. Good job, genius, now let's see what he'd do next time! Maybe he'd forget his pants...

Whoa, now here was something to distract him from ANYTHING he had been thinking about. At all. Ephraim was looking up at him dazedly, and Kishuna's position was.... well, he was holding himself up, but he wasn't exactly not touching Ephraim. Hmm, they were alone in this cave, weren't they? This would be such a perfect time to~ But no. He shook his head slightly, clearing that thought from his head. He wouldn't do that. Why wouldn't he? Hmm, good question, he wasn't entirely sure. but he knew he didn't feel especially right doing it.

Aaaaand the prince was blushing. Blushing a lot. Haha this was good~ So the prince liked it, did he? Kishuna managed to just barely hide a smirk, and instead put on a concerned expression. "Hey, are you all right? That was a pretty bad fall, are you hurt?" Not moving yet, he brought one hand up, cupping it over Ephraim's cheek to examine the young man's head. "... Looks like it's not bleeding, that's good. Wouldn't want you to have a concussion, right kid?" Then his hand slipped down Ephraim's side, fingers probing gently on the pretext of searching for broken bones. "Nope, I'd say you have a clean bill of health."

The morph went to stand up then, pushing himself up just a bit; but he seemed to lose his balance, falling forward, hands landing on Ephraim's chest to steady himself. He looked at the prince from a closer angle, giving his best sheepish grin. "Whoops~" he said charmingly, pushing himself back onto his knees; his hands conveniently slid down Ephraim's stomach, trailing along the lines of his abs as he did so.

Then he got to his feet; however, on his way up, the knee between Ephraim's legs trailed along a certain area, and the morph almost laughed out loud. There was a bulge~ There was no way the morph didn't have this one in the bag once they were done. Maybe he should invite Ephraim back to his.... ******** HE DIDN'T HAVE A PLACE ANYMORE. He swore in his head, getting to his feet and reaching out a hand for Ephraim to take. Well, that plan was shot...

Ephraim would roll out of the way in a heart beat...if he wasn't stuck in this sit-OH GOD WHAT WAS KISHUNA DOING?? A hand came to rest on his cheek and the morph spoke out of concern..oh out of concern my a**, just look at this position. It screamed rape and that was what Ephraim was afraid of. His mouth opened to reply but nothing came out till the next 5 seconds passed "..I..I'm..I-I'm fine!" nearly shouting. What the hell was he embarrassed about?? Oh get off already..was what the lancer wanted to say but his mind and body thought otherwise. It was saying

Staaay...Enjoy...

...The lancer obviously had no object but now wasn't the time anyhow! WAIT, YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO THINK LIKE THAT!

Bleeding? Was he bleeding? No? No? Ok, just a light bump..it was a fall really an-WHAT WAS HE DOING NOW?? He felt that..he felt those fingers trail along the side of his body and that feeling just now? Right? Yea? That was an odd feeling and Ephraim was almost certain he knew what was going on with him.

Then there was the sudden hand that came down on his chest. Ephraim let out a fairly loud gasp, squirming a little under the slight weight. Get off already! But obviously that wasn't going to end, in the back of Ephraim's mind this was obviously going to continue for a few more minutes or so.

Aaand he was right..that hand...that hand trailed down to his stomach..but that didn't bother him as much as the kne- OH, GEEZ! SWEET MERCIFUL GODDESS LET IT END ALREADY. Ephraim slapped himself, covering the embarrassment his face decided to give out when Kishuna finally decided to stand up, but not after a little rub on in the groin area.

He slid a finger to the side of his face, looking at the morph with a hand out to offer up. Ephraim hesitated for a moment but took it and was pulled up to his feet....least...if it was steady. He was pulled up alright, but then stumbled toward the morph.
