Don't get me wrong Frezir, I'm not Kyou or staff, but I think everyone deserves a fair chance is all. And if you haven't already, I highly recommend reading the entire front page top to bottom and checking back to it regularly cause things do change in rules and such from time to time. I also recommend reading every sticky or any thing tagged as important here in the guild because they hold info that may or may not be located on the front page already.
And when you've got time, just pour through the active quests to see what others are up to. Obviously you won't steal an idea, but something might spark your imagination and lead to a good essence or soul idea.
Looking at the journals of already existing Raevans is good too. Trust me, you've got a lot of work ahead of you, but if you keep working at it, things get easier to understand and begin to fall into place better. And in the end, it's all worth it.

Personally, I liked the Reversed Dream Catcher. If it's something made from objects from nature then I don't see how it couldn't work. We have someone who has GLASS for their ACTUAL essence, and we all know glass doesn't come from nature.
EDIT: Though she actually used a naturally occurring item to make that work, so . . .
As for a soul - trying something no has much of either. Plants are always good, we have very few of those, but stay away from things like birds/fish. Personally I'd like to see someone pick an insect (just not a spider)!

Glass is natural. It comes from making sand super hot. It's pretty cool to see sand after its been hit by lightning, awesome works of art. mrgreen
And yeah birds and fish are abundant in the Lab world. We have plants, but they are few. Though more insects would be awesome. Riv wouldn't be so alone, lol.
Edit: I would love to see a spider souled Raevan, but not in combo with a web essence cause as I'd said, cliche.

Your fel essence seems fine thus far.
I'm more partial towards the spider than the gecko for some reason.
Perhaps it's because of how astronauts take spiders to space and make them spin webs in zero gravity?
Hahhaaa.
Alas, I cannot htink of much right now.

Reading some of the crits I'll say this. A long time ago Kyou did mention she had no problem with another dream/nightmare essence idea so long as the person questing made it VERY different and VERY interesting from the last one used for Nue.
In saying that, it's fair game but you will really need to do your homework and I suggest reading what little information there is on Nue and the Tangible Dream fel essence. <3
I would love to see another dream/nightmare raevan considering Nue didn't last long to begin with. But that's just me and my bias for dream things. Good luck.
Note:
Sand can be melted and turned to glass when cooled by humans by bringing its temperature to over 4,000 degrees F.
Sand can also be glassified by lightning strike, nuclear explosion, or meteor impact. ( <-- I like to assuming the dark lightening essence made the glass essence we have now )

Sounds like a great idea, Kitten! Thank you for the wonderful critique. I shall use this to make an essence out of it. True, I shall have to do a lot of homework on this for Nue does not have very much known about him.
