Albus walked into the dojo with reservations. It looked rather... shoddy. But, he'd heard from honest sources that this would allow him to expand his repertoire considerably, and he might need the extra abilities.

Sliding the door open, he walked in to see a somewhat familiar face. He'd certainly expected to see him, though not so soon...

Moving quietly, he got as close to the Eevee as possible without alerting him. He whispered in a soft, cool voice, hoping to startle him. "Hello, Atra."

Not waiting for a response, he tossed the bag he'd been carrying to the dojo master. Falling to the ground, it's contents spilled out. Although minimal in number, the value was considerable; there was about 12,000 PD there. It was the last of the significant amount of money he had brought from home.

"I would seek as much skill as you would impart on me for this amount."

((4 moves, please!)

Atra had heard someone else coming in, but he didn't expect them to go right up to him and say something. Startled, Atra's hair bristled, and he fought not to spin around and smack whoever it was with his tail.

Turning around, Atra blinked as he saw familiar brown-and-silver fur.

"Hello to you too Albus. Glad to see you're still alive." Atra hadn't seen Albus after the regional ball, and, hey, don't get me wrong, he wasn't worried or anything, but he's been, y'know, kinda wondering what happened to his twin.

Since he wasn't keeping his attention on the Hitmonlee, the move he tossed smacked Atra on the head and bounced off. Acting reflexively, he brought a paw up to catch the orb before it hit the ground. Atra winced inwardly at the the embarrassing episode.

He barely paid attention this time as the pink orb sank into his paw and infused him with magic. He was too busy being extremely embarrassed and irritated. Urk, of all the people that could have seen him! He would have rather it was anybody but Albus.

(Kinesis)

Atra busied himself with figuring out his new powers while Albus gathered his four orbs. The second one didn't feel nearly as destructive as the first one. In fact, its magnitude was quite weak compared to most moves. He stared at the empty bag of PD at his feet, and suddenly, he knew what that second move was.

The empty bag floated up slowly, a slight pink glimmer around it. Atra set it back down, satisfied. Not bad, he'd find a good use for this magic. He looked up as Albus addressed him again.

"Damned crazy Gallades." Atra agreed, and got to his feet. He wasn't really eager to talk more about the ball. The vivid image of a Gallade with his bloody sword-arm chasing him with the intent to kill hasn't really left him completely yet.

Atra stared at the PD bag, trying to bring up power to move it. The bag twitched feebly, flipping over a step towards Atra, and stopped moving. He'd need more work it seems.

"Well, 'later bro." He told his twin, picked up the empty PD bag, and trotted out of the Dojo.

(8 moves, 24,000 PD. RP-wise this is three separate times, they're not all coming in at once. I declare this as the best use of Chapter reward money ever.)



Katara landed with a thud outside the dojo and Atra slipped off with ease.

"C'mon, let's go!" Atra bounded into the building, and after struggling slightly as not to widen the door with her bulk, the ditto-transformed Skarmory followed behind.

Atra seemed surprised to see a Lucario instead of the Hitmonlee instead of last time, but didn't question it.

"Oi, teach me some moves." The eevee dropped a bag of PD onto the ground.



The team's shop had been rather successful recently, and with Incultyr finally being fully healed and taking his bandages off, the team decided to celebrate with a bit of splurging. The News Bulletin had mentioned something about the Dojo that would teach them new moves, and after a bit of convincing, Incultyr agreed to spend some PD on this.

The four members that actually do any of the fighting in the team (except the eevee and his pet ditto, they always did their own things separate from the rest of the team) arrived at the dojo late in the afternoon after their shop has closed.

Everyone except Chronicler recognized the Lucario as a mercenary from back during their training.

"Good day." Altus greeted.

"Hello!" Chronicler cheerfully said. Morana was too shy to say anything, and Incultyr rarely cared for formalities. He set down the PD he had authorized the team to use on this, and simply waited for the TMs.



Zero nudged the door open, walking in listlessly. His tail swished back and forth, his eyes glazed over as if deep in thought. They were filled with sadness and worry. After his partner, Zosee, got bitten during the virus outbreak, the hospital wouldn't allow him to visit her.

He was worried, and he hurt all over from all the nurses and doctors who had tried to restrain him. Being tranq'd was not fun. Zero got really scary when he was serious.

He tossed a few coins at the Lucario running the dojo.

Learning and trying to master a new move might keep his mind off of things until if-...when Zosee recovered.

Jazz

Jazz peered around the room, sitting on the top of Siggy's head in a very Meerkat-like manner with his paws before him and balancing on the tips of his toes.
"I was here once before, but-OH! Looks like theres a new Dojo Master. That mercenary Lucario..."
Jazz dropped to the Typhlosion's shoulder with a pout.
"They...kinda scare me."

Atra jumped to catch one of the orbs, which was glowing a light blue, and caught the second one, a sinister purple, with Kinesis.

As he got back down onto his feet, the blue orb sank into his paws and he brought the second orb down, glowing slightly with psychic power, so that it hovered right before him.

"You can take the last one Kat." He told Katara as this one floated into him as well, infusing him with its power. Closing his eyes, Atra examined the two new moves, one that summoned Rain and the other that allowed him to coat his tail with magical poison.

Katara's neck snapped forward when Atra spoke to catch the last orb in her mouth. She didn't expect it to simply dissolve down her throat though. Coughing with surprise, she reared back, eyes wide as she felt power infuse her. She grabbed onto it instinctively, and everything around her suddenly got much, much larger.

She heard Atra giggling and turned, terrified, to see the Eevee about the same size as herself.

"Atra- I...how did you-?"

Still laughing, Atra turned away and headed for the door.

"That move you just got, it's Minimize. Just let go of the magic and you'll be back to normal."



Incultyr grabbed a royal blue orb out of the air, it entering his thick skin before he fully regained his feet. Great power infused him and he soaked it in for a moment, feeling its immense strength. But this is a taxing attack, and would leave him fatigue afterwards.

Altus caught a black orb, examining it in his paw as it also sank it. There was a dark power within it, and when he called upon it, it coated his paw with black wisps of energy. Before he could fully examine it, another silvery orb rolled along the floor and stopped at his foot. This one also sank into his fur.

"Oops." They had bought bought one move each. If he took two...

Morana picked up a pink one, and watched with wide eyes as it slowly dispersed into herself. She gasped as sudden images came into her mind- images of herself and the others leaving the Dojo and heading back to the guild. Images of the future.

Looking up, she saw the second orb going into Altus, and Chronicler without a new move.

"I'm sorry Chronicler, I-"

"...'s fine, I don't need..."

"...'re leaving now..."

The houndour shook her head, thoroughly confused as what she saw in her mind unfolded before her, half a minute later. This would take some getting used to.



Zero stopped the red orb that was rolling across the floor with a paw, dispassionately watching as the orb disappeared and his paw fell down to the ground.

He felt an intense heat suddenly burn within him, making him gasp despite himself; the ice type was used to having a very low core temperature, so this was a shock.

Taking a moment to compose himself, he carefully nursed his internal temperature back down to a safe level.

A fire move, a strong one too...

Zero turned and left the dojo without another word. This move would take a lot of delicate training, but if he masters it, it would...be interesting.
