It's happened before. As long as you don't do any drastic changes, like evolving them or changing their moveset while their gone, you can have them disappear and reappear.

Sorry for having so many questions sweatdrop , but I just saw this:

Quote:
How to fail a mission:

-Not required length.
-Didnt fight the required number of enemies.
-Illiteracy
-Or just plan pathetic. [AKA not attempting to make an interesting story at all.]

I looked around the FAQ forum and I couldn't find anything saying that we need to fight a certain number of enemies except on this. So what is the required number of pokemon we have to fight?

Also, since the new shop opened selling seeds, will eating seeds fill Belly Slots as well?

You need to fight one Pokemon per floor - I'll go add it to various stickies as it is the thing that most people end up not knowing.

I'd assume they'd fill .5 slots, but I'm not sure. I'll ask Chaos.

What if we fight two pokemon on one floor and then none on the next? Is that fine?

Yeah, that's fine, but it'll still need to meet the length requirements.

This is allowed.

Mostly because some people, like me, don't even RP the dungeons as containing floors. To me, it doesn't really make sense for things to have floors unless they're artificial, so I just consider the floor number to be the minimum number of enemies I need to defeat, and that's it.

From the Belly Slots thread and adjoining topics, I'm having a hard time discerning whether the concept of slots is something limited to the team or to individual pokemon.

For example, if one were to take a 10 floor mission with 3 pokemon, would this use 5 slots (half a slot per floor, so 10 x 0.5) or 15 slots (half a slot per floor per pokemon, so 10 x 3 x 0.5)?

Edit: Alright, thanks a bunch. I figured that's how it was, but I didn't want to waltz into a 17 floor mission only to find out it took an amount of food vastly beyond what I could manage.

It's per team, you don't need to multiply by the number of teammates. The hypothetical mission you mentioned would use 5 slots.

Hey, for the bounty list, do they count for the wait-one-week between missions as well?

Since the bounty list is new and such, we'll just toss a three day waiting period between taking them.
;3 If this works out nicely, I may cut or shorten that period, but for now you'll need to wait three days minimum before doing another bounty.
ALSO!
In case you or anyone asks [I'll have to add it later], Bounty's do not require food of any kind.

How long has Solaris been on the throne? My Scyther (team leader) is quite old himself, and had a rescue team in the past. Given that the ball happens every 25 years, he would have attended the last one (if only as a formality). There's a fair chance he'd have met either Solaris or Jupiter, (depending on which held the throne,) as someone with a fair respect for nobility.

Depending on which is the case, I'd like to work it in as part of the dialogue (if only a passing mention) as it is a part of his character history.

If this seems implausible for some reason ( I don't know. Would Solaris/Jupiter not be deemed "significant" at the ball? I'm still trying to work my head around the exact organization of the universe @_@;; ) then that would be a nice mention as well~

Edit: Aaah! Thanks a ton! I was having a mess of a time trying to figure out how the region/kingdom were distinctive from one another, how much influence each individual wielded, etc. etc. This puts things in much better clarity, thank you.

I'll try to answer this in as much sense as possible! ;3

Alrighty- Solaris inherited the throne after his Father's murder by Selena 15 years ago. He was 20 at the time.
Last ball he attended would have been when he was 10 and wouldnt remember it that well, but Jupiter was there [Around the age of 30] and since hes a guild master he was well known.
So yes, you can say that your Scyther had attended the previous one if you wish and that he'd known Jupiter if you'd like.

As for the guild layouts in this universe...there were orignally seven core guilds through the Region [Name unknown since we havent thought of one]
They are as followed with their respective guild masters.
Sun---Solaris
Moon---Selena
Morning Star---Diablo
Fire---Unknown [Destroyed]
Ice---Unknown [Destroyed]
Thunder---Unknown [Destroyed]
???---Main Guild that oversees the others. It is run by a currently unknown guildmaster who is host to the ball as well as leader of the other guildmasters in a sense.

Each guild master is significant and outrank any of the clan, pack, leaders.
Guilds> Clans/Packs

Hope this helps, I should really write down a guide to the universe of this RP. I'll get on it as soon as I can.

Does the ruling family have some sort of family name / last name?

Just seems like something that might be important for our eevees to know.

I understand that in the case of mission floors, you round to the nearest "10" floor and that's your effective total. Usually, I'd assume in the case of 15 (flat split) it would round up, but the "Missions and Chapter guidelines" post specifically mentions 16~.

So, in such a case, is the round up/down point "14 or lower is 1 MP, 15 or higher is 2 MP" or "15 or lower is 1 MP, 16 or higher is 2 MP"?

I've just noticed we've got a couple 15 floor missions speckled around, and I'm kind of curious~
