Vorel rolled onto his side to watch the trio that he was left with before he nodded in agreement with what Mariel had said. He wasn't sure what secret they were talking about or if it were that important but since Maria wanted to know so much and Mariel as well he would agree with them, "Yes, do tell." He told the boy that he'd carried on his back once before.
Maria gave a giggle before her full attention was on Ryan, eyes going a bit wide as he explained the 'secret' to them and she gave a little gasping sound, "Oh? A secret place?" She murmured then watched the manner in which Ryan whispered something to Mariel and she tilted her head to one side wondering what it was that they were talking about. Her ears twitched and she leaned in a little closer, tail starting to swish behind her.
Ligeia looked up at Gabriel before smiling up at him, "She was a very nice woman, we had a nice conversation." He told the man, having enjoyed talking with that woman since she had been kind to him and helped him out with some ideas to help him advance with his sewing. He turned back to Ro then, smiling. So she was shy? He'd thought so, he wasn't going to rush her though.

Mariels eyes lit up at the prospect of going to find a secret place. It would be another adventure and thus was the best idea in the entire world! She glanced over to Maria and saw that she looked just as interested, that was a good sign. Mariel nodded to Ryan and motioned for him to follow her to where Maria and Vorrel were. "Ryan says we should go find the secret place, but we have to be back before they notice. Any ideas?" Mariel knew that Luna wouldnt particularly care if they dissapeared for a while. her guardian HATED the cold and was more likely to sit in the car and wait for hunger to bring the kinds back than to go after them. But she had no idea about Ryans dad/sister and Geia. After all geia had made snow for her before so she doubted that he would have any complaints to going in the snow.
She racked her brain for ways that would be a good cover and also allow them to find thi secret place.....a game of tag?.....just pretend to wander off?....She mulled over these ideas and began to think in earnest of how to plan this adventure. After all Adventure was what Mariel LOVED to do and thus she would make it as fun as possible. Mariels tail twitched behind her like a cats on the prowl. It made a few snow flurries behind her as she was deep in though and suddenly got a steady rhythm as Mariel decided how they could do this. "We could play tag? Then they wont notice if we run around...and well we get to play tag in the snow!." Mariel smiled. It seemed like a win-win situation to her. if they didnt find anything they would still be playing tag, and if they did find something well it was just icing on the cake!

Ryan walked with Mariel as she talked about tag. He listened with all his might. " We still have to gooo into the yellow taped off part...." he said. The idea sounds nice but if the adults catch them there , they could get in trouble. Ryan sat on the ground and waited for Maria's idea.

Maria crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head to the side, she seemed to be thinking so hard on any ideas which just looked far to cute given she was wearing her big flight goggles, "Hrm... I don't know... but I say we bring Vorel! After all if its a super secret place that means it could be guarded by scary things! So we need his strength." She reached a hand out to pat him on the side, "Does that sound good?"
Vorel gave a rapid nod of his head, "Sounds good, Maria." He agreed, tail swishing behind him. He was always up for an adventure but more over he was eager to look after the three little ones. If they were going to wander off to some super secret and dangerous sort of place he wanted to be there so that he could keep them safe! He knew that if it were Geia in his place that the owl would do the same after all, so he had to do what he knew his partner would do.

Mariel loved the idea of bringing Vorel along and gave a squeak of joy. She had the same nagging thought in the back of her ind that Maria had mentioned about there being scary guarding things and so bringing along a dragon was just the bestest idea ever!. "Ok Vorel can come, your right we might need his protection. Its just like a REAL adventure!" Mariel was so excited. She was imagining that all three of them were going on one of those heroic quests that disney movies always assured her young kids could find. It was GREAT!. She scurried over to vorel and smiled up at him then thought about something.
"So does that make Vorel our .."She paused to think of a good word "our trusty , no shining steed?!" She liked to think of Vorel as a shining steed since he looked like he was made of glass and fuzz. She smiled and decided that she liked the thought of Vorel as a steed, sure he didnt quite look like a white horse but he was white and he was way cooler than a horse. She hopped from foot to foot both eager to get on with the adventure and to maybe get to ride on Vorel. Riding a dragon was always an exciting prospect.

Ryan's tail started to move a mile a minute “Ok gang put your Game faces on" he said real heroically. He looked over at the adults who were talking. He smiled at the two girls “perfect there all talking” he smiled real coy like. Lucky for him Ro-Honda served as a good distraction.
Ryan wasn’t sure how to lead the dragon so he decided to let Maria make the next big move. He waited a bit , he moved in small strides. The suspense made him excited. “ Maria I think you should tell Vorel to move in the way of the jungle gym” he rubbed his hand together “once he does that then we can go find the spot” he smiled. He already knew where the spot was , he just wasn’t able to open the round plastic circle by himself to get into the opening.

Maria and Vorel exchanged a look before she lifted her hands up to smother a giggle while Vorel just chuckled, "Vorel can understand you Ryan, he just doesn't speak English." She explained before she started forward at his side with her two friends toward where the jungle gym was located. She couldn't wait to see what was ahead of them, couldn't wait since this was her first adventure with friends her own age and size. Normally when she played around it was with the dragons at home or with her older brothers, not as often with kids.
Vorel's tail swished as he seemed to be getting as excited as the children were, caught up in their excitement, his tail was wagging, and he was crooning in a delighted manner. Needless to say he was pleased to play the part of the steed in this game. He really was a simple creature it would seem, ever easy to please and had nearly as much fun with things as the kids did. Rarely did he show any other side of himself unless something dangerous was going on. Then and only then did his laid back disposition change.

Mariel giggled with Maria, she knew that Vorrel spoke English cause ehe was the one who told her that they were all training to be superheroes when they babysat. She had almost forgotten about being a superhero and was about to mention it when the spirit of the current adventure blew away her thoughts and sent her racing with the other two. Ah the short attention span of a child.
Mariel watched the jungle gym get closer as they neared it and she scanned over everything, not wanting to miss a beat. "So what do we do now Ryan? You gotta tell us." mariel chattered excitedly all kinds of scenarios running around her mind. "We gotta be sneaky so the adults dont find out, but if we dont make noise then they might look to see where we are. What do we do?" mariel brought up a point that had seemingly come out of nowhere. To her it was a valid point and she followed maria and Ryan as she tried to think of how to solve this problem once they were at the Jungle Gym.

IT was go time! The three toddlers plus dragon needed to act fast if they where going to fool the adults. Ryan was good at making plans "Well Mariel you stay with Vorreels" Vorrels is a hard name to say for rhino children. "Then Maria and I will find the secret place , I'm going to need your help with sometin but I will show you when we get there " he of couse was talking about the plastic cover. "Then once we do that , I will stitch with you" he stopped and pointed to Mariel. He started up his speach once more "so it looks like we are all playing with Varris, gosh how do you say his name?" he looked over at Maria.
Gabriel talked with Luna about watching a Zebra game and all the strings they would need to pull as Ro-Honda gave Ligeia twenty one questions on fashion and even gave tips to her icon. So the toddlers diversion might actually work.

Maria rested her hands on Ryan's shoulder, "I don't know... it wouldn't be to nice if we left Mariel... I think Vorel can cover for us hes big!" She said, turning to look at her brother's dragon, hands resting on her hips, "You need to wait here Vorel, look nice and big, don't tell anyone where we went!" She knew that Vorel and Ligeia could talk to each other, a language she was working on learning herself, and as such she had to tell him not to tell.
The pangolin turned around, adjusted her goggles, then took hold of each of her friends by their wrists before she pulled them forward, "Come on! Run!" She said, racing forward attempting to pull them forward with her even though Ryan was a lot heavier looking then Maria and Mariel looked, likely because they were girls and he was a boy.

Mariel pouted her lips and was about to say something about being left behind when maria fixed the problem! Mariel Smiled and allowed herself to be taken. "Yeah we can all go!" Mariel suddenly had an idea that was just to good. "Vorrel you should make a snowman, or dig a hole! Something that makes you move so they think your playing with us and so you dont get bored so much." Mariel figured a dragon in motion would be less suspicious since they would think he was just messing with the kids. It was perfect!
They all ran towards where Ryan wanted them, though with the snow it was more of a slosh than a run. They were after all three small children in a snow laden environment so real running was prabably out of the question. Never the less Mariel was having the time of her life, this being sneaky stuff was fun, especially with these friends. She resolved that these would indeed be great future adventure partners. "So Ryan what do we do once we get there? Is there a place to hide?"

The rhino child started to run with the gang and answered Mariel "Ahhhhh , we can hide inside the slide , but when we open the top , we will have too" he heard the dragon moving and looked up .... "Ohh we are going to have to open the cover thingy out in the opens" he talked as he ran soo his word came out funny. Ryan looked around once they got to the top of the jungle gym "guys I still think once I get the cover open I should run over to ... ahhh the dragon" yes he forgot the name once more. "I just think they need to see at least one of us" he blinked a bit. Getting up the net latter was tiring. He ran into the red tube slide , to catch his breath. He used his knees and hands to hold himself up so he wouldn't slide down. Ryan was ok , and if the girls wanted to hide in the slide with him he could hold their weight , or at least he thinks he can. "Don't worry , we won't slide down , I can hold you" he once held Ro , and his brother Kalamo , sooo he felt confident. He was getting really pumped up , soon he could show them the forbidden place.

Vorel watched the trio of younger kids as they raced off to where the snow covered park equipment was located before he did as he was told, kicking up some snow, flapped his wings, and otherwise made it seem as though they were quite busy before he found himself following along after the kids to see what they were doing when Ryan headed into the slide. He plopped down on his backside, tail swishing, and he then tilted his head back, mouth opening so he could catch the snowflakes that were falling from the sky.
Maria watched him, giggling, "Vorel is a good dragon. I want my dragon to be just like him!" She chirped before she looked up at the park equipment, debating trying to climb it since she was a rather big fan of climbing things any time she could find something fun to climb... then noticed that Ray rushed off to the slide, climbing into slide, "Oh... wait for us, Ryan!" She called after him, giving Mariel a smile, "You can hold onto my tail if you need to while we climb up after Ryan." She offered the other girl, finding that she liked her already. Not to mention that the fact that Mariel had the same first four letters in her name as Maria did, that made the other girl have bonus points in her mind.
She looked over her shoulder to check on Vorel and the others before he started to climb up after Ryan.

Mariel couldnt help the giggling that happened when she saw vorrel make all that movement and noise, he looked so funny since she knew he was playing by himself. She gave a nod to Marias comment about wanting a dragon like Vorrel and she could see it would be amazing to have a dragon like him. She however was not terribly fond of the cold so she didnt know if she wanted one exactly like him....before she could think on it to much the other two were up and inside the slide.
Mariel wasnt really a great climber when it came to smooth suraces. She was great at rocks and dirt but the slide did seem to perplex her and so she gladly took Marias offer. "Thanks I think I'll need your tail." She half said half giggled, after all it was a funny thing to hold onto a friends tail, at least to her it was. She knew she wouldnt have to worry about Maria or Ryan pulling any tricks on her, they were just to nice! She was so happy to have friends like this. She followed maria up the slide one hand on her tail and the other helping to guide herself up the slide. Being so smooth and fuzzy seemed to be a disadvantage in the smooth plastic slide and so she was slow. She slipped a few times but Maria and her tail were just what she needed and she made it up to join them happily tired and secretly hoping there were no more smooth tubes to climb. "Maria you saved me" she flashed a tired smile at the pangolin girl then looked to Ryan "So whats up here Ryan? Where to next?"

Ryan holding all three girls in the slide said “OK" he huffed "We need to get out of the slide now, and" he huffed some more. The girls are much heavier then he thought. He looked down the slide as he felt himself slip " Awww we need to get out of this slide and find the purple circle" he said with tension in his voice. If the girls waited any longer Ryan was sure to slip and they would all go tumbling out of the slide and be seen by the grownups.... maybe.
