Domevlo watch in some twisted form of slow motion. The man in the car was oblivious to the world outside. Flicking away at his hand held. Domo unconsciously slipped closer to the edge of the sidewalk willing himself not to go after her. The distance seemed to go by so slowly but a sick part of himself wanted to see what would be come of this. Would she get hit? Would he see bits and pieces of the pretty kitten splattered all over the car? Would the man swerve a little to late hop up on the curb and bounce over unsuspecting pedestrians.
With his heart being so fast with anticipation the other half of the lead frei was just praying. Hoping she would be okay. And even though he couldn't take his eyes off he moved forward just one more inch... When he heard his name his eyes went wide, he was seconds away from calling this all off when she simply disappeared. The man never noticed he'd been about to hit her. Domo's hand clinched and unclenched. This was not normal but... she had done it. "Lucia...." He breathed slumping lower to the ground with relief.
Xan supposed everything was fine. He didn't mind being here with Yuurei she was fun and bit of a fire cracker but fun. He just wished he wasn't feeling so guilty about things himself. "Ah. Is that so. Well I'll take your word for it. Don't need no soggy boots." He chuckled poking at the woman's forehead in a playful manner. When she placed his arm around her more he allowed it not minding one bit. "Yeah I was fairy surprised myself. With all that's happened I'm still gettin' used to this guardian thing. It's nice to have others like yourself around to help out. So what was it like when you first met the Lucia?"

Yuurei laughed lightly, thinking about how poorly their first meeting and the following months were. "Oh gosh, it was awful for both of us. But we're better now - a bit - most of the time." She looked at him over her shoulder and smiled weakly. "It's a long story. But what about you? Are there any ladies out there who wish you were with them instead of with me?" She grinned teasingly. "And how has it been with Domo?"

Xan could only laugh along with her, raising a Raevan was surely not easily especially the first meeting. "Let's just say he's destructive if you don't put your foot down. And even that might be a hazard in and of itself. But he seems to be like a big kid he just wants ya to love'em." He chuckled giving the woman a winning smile. Upon questioning him he shrugged. "Well I'm one of those less then picky fellas. I'm sure my guy is some place sulking but it can't be helped. He's a model and it takes a lot of time out of his day so we don't see each other often." He looked off into the distance for a brief moment but returned with a wink. "Besides I haven't found the girl of my dreams yet so she's still out there. I'm still taking applications..."

Yuurei smiled as he described his time with Domo pretty abstractly. It seemed like it wasn't only Lucia who was a lot to handle. It seemed pretty common for raevans, now that she thought about it. Delia got sick right away. Chloe had mentioned something about an attitude from Roux.
As Xan explained his romantic situation, the woman smiled understandingly. That he had a boyfriend was kind of a turn off for her, but Yuu decided not to judge him by it. She didn't want to get between anyone though. Spinning away from him, Yuurei turned towards him and smiled, her eyes scanning the crowd of people. Thinking about what Xan had said about Domo's trouble-making, Lucia and how she was so easy to get into trouble, the blonde glanced towards the bench where they left the two frei. "Uhh..." she said, scanning the crowd. "Where'd Domo and Loush go?"
The blonde skated to the bench, kicked off the skates and stood on top of it looking over the heads of the crowd around the skating rink. "I don't see them."

"Loush?" How odd but that was beside the point as Thanatos looked around with Yuurei. It was quite strange the two of them were no where in sight. Heading off the rink he took off his skates as well moving around the rink to see if he could find them. It shouldn't have been hard, two floating torsos weren't very hard to see after all. In a sea of two legged beings it was easier to find the others. However... wait was that...? A flash of something gray caught the cowboy's eyes before he turned to gaze at it closely. From his spot it looked like a man standing at the street leg with a trench coat but the shock of white hair cleared the illusion. "There!" He pointed but didn't see the black and purple tint from his company's charge. "I don't see Ms. Lucia."

Yuurei's head snapped to Xan and her eyes followed his finger to -- yes she could see Domo by the street -- but Lucia didn't seem to be with him. Hoping down from the bench, Lucia grabbed her bag and Xan's arm as she pulled him around the crowds of people towards the road. For some reason, Lucia's absence seemed very wrong.
The blonde looked at Domo, trying to gage his reaction as they came over. "Hey! Where's Lucia? It's almost time for us to go home." She smiled and looked around, the purple glow and flowy black hair was no where to be seen.
Yuu's eyes locked on Domo's face. Where was she this time?

Domo just continued to stare straight ahead toward the spot where Lucia disappeared. He had no words to discribe what had happened only one phrase covered the gist of it all. "She died." He spoke. His voice was quiet and calm somehow settled on what he had witnessed. She had managed to kill herself but somehow she was not really dead. To explain this further was out of his capabilities as a young frei so he left the rest to the two guardians' imaginations.

Yuurei stared deadpan at Domo. "What?" she asked. Surely she hadn't heard him right. Looking left to right at the road, at the sidewalk, Yuurei spun around. Lucia was no where to be seen. "What happened?" The frei had disappeared before. Was this like that?
The blonde looked at Xan. Did he know more about this than she did? Was the a common phrase that his charge often used? What the hell?
"Where is she?!" Panic started to well inside of her and she needed more information.

Domo just continued to stare the worried hitch in Yuurei's voice did little to change his earlier confession. "Domo says she died. Kitty wanted to die so she did." He repeated himself looking back toward the road. A slinder finger rose pointing toward the street where she had disappeared. "She wanted a car to hit her but it didn't. She is gone now. Dead but not really dead."
Thanatos in the meantime had no clue what was going on. How was he to explain the way the frei spoke when he couldn't grasp it. "Why didn't ya stop her Domo?"
"No stop. Kitty promise not to hurt self and return. She promise. Domo will wait til she come back." And that was that while he scanned the street for any sign of the kitten frei.

Yuurei stared at the frei. Was he kidding? The blonde scanned the street, looking down and up it for a sign of the kitten. Even if she did...where was her body? She's gone. Not really dead. What he was saying didn't make any sense. And his difficulty with vocabulary wasn't helping her comprehension. Lucia wasn't there. So what happened to her?
Was this like the sickness? She thought the raevan had just run away. That it was a result of the sickness. What if...
"Listen, Domo. You need to tell me exactly what she told you. I need to know so I can make sure she's okay. Please tell me!"

Domo dtood perfectly still while his amber orbs continued to scan the street before him. He had heard and listened to Yuurei but his mind was in a completely different place. Kitten had promised to come back she had said she wouldn't make hime worry. But this was not true because he was terrified. Turning those orbs to his friend's guardian he pointed to the street. "She promise to come back Domo believe but is worried. She say she need see something want to die. No she say she want to almost die to go to other place. The place where real Domo, the other half sleep. She go to see other place."

Yuurei stared at the frei as the calmness and kind of assurance in his eyes slowly changed to a not-so-subtle panic. She listened closely to the frei's explanation, trying to decipher the short-speak as quickly as possible. She wanted to almost die to go to another place? That made no sense!! The real Domo? The blonde stared at the frei trying to understand.
Then it hit her. She had heard, through the grapevine, that an old raevan, one of the first, had died and his soul had been made into a new one. Where the other one sleeps? But he wasn't sleeping. Gage -- that had been his name -- Gage was dead. Lucia went to the world of the dead? But no one could do that. No one could hop between worlds. No one could just disappear from the world of the living and reappear later on...like Lucia did in the graveyard. Aphismet had been sure that Rivener had looked exactly where the Kitten had shown up. It had been so odd, but she had been so stressed at the time, and then Lucia's and Rivener's frolic, and the emergency room visit. Was the kitten able to travel between worlds?
Yuurei didn't know and wouldn't know unless....until Lucia got home. "I - I have to go home," she said quickly. The blonde pulled her keys out of her purse, fumbling with them for the right one as she backed away from the frei and his guardian. Her amber eyes looked up and rested on Xan. "I'm sorry. I have to go." The woman figured she was in for another sleepless night. But this time she wouldn't call the police.

Xan said nothing more or less nodding his understanding though he really didn't understand a thing. Watching Domevlo act the way he was put a sour mood in the air around them. It was probably time they all went home, though he couldn't help wondering what happened to Lucia. "By all means, I hope things will be okay." He offered as after thought but it seemed somehow cheesy.
Watching the woman slip away he turned to Domo sporting the young frei with a curious raise of his brow. He didn't understand Domelvo at all. This whole situation had gotten out of hand some how. "Lets get home." The cowboy offered ushering the listless frei away. Only offering one last glance back at the street, Domo complied nodding his head with barely a thought.
