Pegasus had ran the whole way there, her breath fogging each time she exhaled. The sound of Eve's voice, worried and out of breath, filled her ears as she ran, and she willed herself faster, although she knew she was moving as fast as she could, even with magical powers. Mentally she cursed, over and over, for letting Eve go out alone. She knew she couldn't be there all the time for the blonde, but it made her feel better to have something to curse in her worry.

Skidding to a halt a few feet away, the teal-skirted senshi's eyes darted over the scene, trying to locate Flora, eyes finally settling on the crumbled form beneath Linarite. Her blood went cold. Flora's beaten form looked more than a little worse for wear, all that blood chilling her to the bone. Could she have come to late? The thought only riled her up further, shaking her up all the more. But no, she couldn't have. The bluenette seemed to be smug, but not victorious just yet.

There wasn't any time for her to say anything, no dramatic speech, and she certainly couldn't attack, not with the chance that Flora might be hit in the attack. Kicking off of the pavement, her best bet was to attack her full-on. It wouldn't bring her down, by any stretch of the imagination, and there was Serandite to worry about, but it would buy them some time. The immediate threat was Linarite.

Taking a flying leap, Pegasus lunged side-long for the bluenette, ignoring the rough gravel and snow as she hit the lieutenant's body hard with her shoulder, grabbing her around the waist as she tackled her, hitting the ground hard with an soft 'oof' before trying to scramble up, hoping to get back to Flora before anything else could attack her.

Linarite. That was her name. She had the nerve to order Serandite around. Well, considering that they were this close to finally snatching a senshi's starseed of all things, Serandite had to admit that Linarite's audacity wasn't the issue of the moment.

She jumped forward, the flash of a familiar shade of golden brown flew past her. It happened so fast, Linarite was suddenly taken down by an all-too-familiar face. Pegasus. OH OUCH. She watched for a brief moment as the two landed on the painful mixture of snow and gravel. But she didn't watch for long as Pegasus scrambled to get back to her precious partner, something Serandite didn't intend to allow. At the very least, even if she was paired up with a rude girl with an obscenely squeaky hammer at the moment, Serandite needed to do her part.

She immediately crossed the short distance between the two, the pink-hair lieutenant was at Flora's side, her delicate pink heel stepped painfully on Flora's hair, jerking the senshi back if she tried to get up. It was a crude move that Serandite would never ordinarily use but she had barely reached Flora in time. Such a shame, it was such gorgeous hair too. At least Serandite's heels were fairly clean. Her bunny stood as an obstacle between Pegasus and Flora, who laid at Serandite's feet.

"Hold Pegasus back." Obviously, Serandite intended to take her starseed now that Linarite was 'occupied.' Serandite wans't one for taking the glory but hey, this was an ideal opportunity.

Flora did not beg. It was something she did not intend to do, even if Linarite was about to kill her, blue eyes only shone in anger that she had to go down this way. She bit back a scream as Linarite squeezed the hurt ankle and pain shot through her, face contorting into a grimace and fresh tears running down her face even though she didn't mean for them to. It was stupid, and it was weak, and she hated crying. Especially now that she was crying in front of her enemy.

But the minute the blunette introduced herself, the look in her eyes turned almost murderous. This? This was the girl Elzo was infatuated with, the girl he was trying so hard to forget, this was the girl that despite that they were fighting on different sides, h-he was in love with HER? "Castor says hi." She managed to blurt out, her head hitting the floor as her head grew dizzy with the pain she was feeling.

So dizzy that she barely registered Serandite standing over her. Her eyelids were closed, and even though her muscles struggled and screamed at her, she just couldn't get up. The cold only made it worse.

What? What?! As the words seeped into Linarite's brain, she all but jerked upright at the surprise. What had Castor been saying to this senshi? Had he told someone about what had happened between them? Certainly he couldn't know that Nealite knew, he'd been long out of sight when the two young women had met on the verbal battlefield. But somehow, this blond senshi knew who and what Linarite was.

And she didn't seem to approve one bit.

All of this, however, took backseat to the fact that the somewhat familiar form of Sailor Pegasus was trying to get away with that sneaky little attack! Unluckily for her, Sailor Nea had provided Linarite with a bit of help in the senshi catfight department. With a cruel yank on the redhead's bows, Lina had her back down and she tried to punch the girl in the cheek. This was not her forte, however, and it was little more than a childish blow with a closed fist.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? God you senshi are stupid!"

(( I apologize for taking so long, I totally didn't know it was my turn @_@ ))

The view from the building upon which Tanzanite perched was a clear one. Two senshi, two Negaverse. She would have recognized Serandite anywhere; even if she hadn't met the young Lieutenant previously, her uniform stuck out like a sore thumb. A sore thumb covered in flowers. The other girl Tanzanite had gotten to know as more than just another face in the ranks of the Negaverse, having been assigned to the bluenette's custody after her slight deviation from Negaverse protocol.

It was the name of that slight deviation, spoken by one of the senshi, that caused her to take a single step off of the edge of the two-story rooftop. She landed gracefully at the edge of the fray, heels hitting the pavement with a dull click before the momentum carried her into a low crouch. Narrow eyes observed the quartet for a moment. Linarite, scuffling with the red-headed senshi, Serandite standing over the other.

“You've no reason to cry,” she spoke loudly as she strode forward, calm and casual. “This is a good death. Your life will help us take back what is rightfully ours.” There was no mockery in her tone as those grey irises momentarily settled on Flora. She meant each and every word, uttered with the same strong, sure tone that a priest might use when quoting the Bible. However cruel, it was something she believed in without question or doubt. Unlike some deity supported only by text and the word of zealots, the Negaverse was something she could see. Feel. The power it lent her ran through her veins with every beat of her heart. It was tangible, intoxicating, and Tanzanite revered it as far more than the ragtag group of terrorists that the human world suspected them to be.

Tanzanite did not stop as she passed Serandite. Surely, Serandite could handle one prone, crying girl. It was Pegasus on whom her attention was focused. Upon reaching the struggling pair, a foot would be pressed against Pegasus sternum, a hard kick aimed to pin her to the ground. If successful in pinning the senshi, she would rotate the angle of her foot, swiveling it so that the pointed heel of her boot rest atop the soft pit at the base of her throat. There was not much pressure applied, only enough to make it uncomfortable.

Tch,” Tanzanite clicked her tongue, staring down at Pegasus as though she were a piece of dirt beneath her boot rather than a living, breathing human being.

Well, to an extent her attack worked. Kind of.

'Hold Pegasus back.'

The teal-skirted senshi swiveled her head in Serandite's direction, blood pounding in her ears from fear, and she tried desperately to scramble up, flailing her hands out to shove herself off of the bluenette. That lieutenant. Was standing. On Flora's hair. It was such a small thing -- she should have been thankful she wasn't standing on her chest -- but Pegasus found it sent a terrified chill down her spine, and her efforts redoubled. Ballet-shoed feet tried and failed to find purchase in the snow, and when hands found her bow, she was suddenly on her back, startled by the fist connecting roughly with her cheekbone.

"No stupider than you!"

This was not the time to be honorable. They wouldn't be. They were going to kill Flora, by any means they could. And so Pegasus grabbed a fistful of blue hair, tangling her fingers in it and pulling hard to the side, trying to wiggle a knee up between them, giving Linarite a hard shove. Again, she tried to scramble up, her breath fogging as she panted, desperate and determined, to get to the senshi of spring. She didn't even realize Tanzanite had entered the scene, too busy to realize before it was too late.

Violent purple hair.

A kick to the sternum.

A heel to her throat.

Checkmate.

Sailor Pegasus stared up at the newest lieutenant from where she lay on the gravel, shock clearly evident in her usually-calm expression. She swallowed, impulsively, and felt the pressure increase on her throat. One hand reached up to grip Tanzanite's ankle, just for a second, before she crossed both arms across her chest, shutting her eyes tight.

"Dream Kinesis!"

It was risky, extremely risky, but at this point, she was getting desperate. Her kinetic blast was not intended to be a short-ranged attack, and no doubt would have some violent effects on her. She might even bear the brunt of her own attack. But with both Linarite and Tanzanite so close, it was worth the risk. The iridescent sphere had little room to expand, and the delicate-looking bubble exploded with a fireless power, shoving the teal-skirted senshi further into the concrete, and the suspicious sound of cracking cement.

This was not good.

Castor had arrived at both the best and worst moment. Flora was on the ground, the tiny Serandite above her. Tanzanite closing in on another senshi, imposing and threatening as she had been on their first encounter. And finally, Linarite, who he could barely force himself to look at, was fighting tooth and nail.

But, even while conflicted, Castor recognized what had to be done, love struck or not.
"Flora!" A jump from the rooftop sent Castor nearby the prone senshi of spring. Close up, he could see the extent of her injuries, and in a flash, his blood boiled. Dark blue eyes zeroed in on the pink lieutenant. Two steps and he had grabbed her arm, grip tight.

The Castor Serandite remembered was not the same as the one who held her arm from reaching Flora's starseed. "You have 30 seconds to either flee or to die." His grip tightened.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:51 pm

That voice. Oh hell, that voice. This was now bad. This was now beyond bad! How was it that every time one of them got close, a cadre of protectors always showed up? Nealite had had this problem with Castor, though before Linarite had thought of it as a good thing. Any failure on the b***h's part was a success in Lina's book!

Pain seared into the girl's legs as she was blasted with that small ball of power. It seemed that Sailor Pegasus had more than a little luck, and this was the second time she'd been grazed by the brat's attack! Indeed, her stockings were now all but shredded, great holes showing lily-white legs. Disentangling herself slowly from the Senshi of Dreams, she shook her head at her silly attempts to free herself from Tanzanite's grasp. Attack or no attack, the vicious woman wouldn't be thrown so easily. "You're a fool." While Castor distracted himself with wrenching the smaller girl from their intended prey, Lina thought that perhaps it might be fortuitous to save their comrade. Even if she was decidedly underage and very moderately annoying.

Twisting the sunset-haired young woman around swiftly, the lieutenant sat on Pegasus' back with little ceremony. Linarite might have been somewhat on the scrawny side, but this girl wasn't much better, and a hand between her shoulders stopped all struggles. "Tanzanite, get Serandite. And you, Sailor Pegasus, will sit here quietly while we deal with Sailor Castor. Otherwise I'm going to reach my hand back through your shoulders, and tear out your star seed." The bluenette's rage still burned quickly through the forest of affection she'd carefully tended for the hail senshi. One look at Tanzanite's face confirmed that indeed, she also resented the man greatly.

"Tanzanite. Get him." It was barely audible, but between the two of them, it needed little saying. She would take revenge for both of them.

(( If this is not kosher with you guys, lemme know and I can revise. ))

Serandite's wrist was caught roughly in Castor's painful grip, flinching. Another senshi came into her picture?-- Damnit, she should have taken the starseed faster. Castor was directly in front of her now, her gaze turned toward the irritating senshi of hail. Or better yet, he should probably be renamed "fail."

"Flee or die? Why, that's not my preferred choice. You have new clothes Castor, the long pants look quite good on you." She said sweetly, her hand slowly and cautiously lifting from Flora's chest. She didn't need to look behind her to hear that Pegasus's attack had hit some lucky lieutenant (considering it was basically at point blank range, she didn't doubt that it did.) She heard Linarite's curt order to Tanzanite, her small mouth set in a deep scowl. She didn't need any blasted help. The negaverse wasn't meant for teamwork.

"You know what they say, if you're stuck with a guy you can't deal with, you do this!" On the timing of her emphasized word, she promptly lifted her knee up in a sharp kick to Castor's groin, knee versus groin, an attack meant to distract the senshi for awhile as she tried to pull her wrist away from his tight grip.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 09, 2010 6:31 am

Her vision was blurry, even as she tried to force open her eyelids so she could see what happened. Had Linarite been successfully distracted by that little tidbit of information? She hadn't revealed enough for Serandite to know anything, for Flora did not particularly care for the pink-haired girl to report to Charonite, who would indubitably set out to murder Castor. And Linarite too, but she did not really care. All she felt for the blunette was a dull sense of curiosity, but this was not the time for asking such questions.

There was another voice.

You've no reason to cry.

This is a good death. Your life will help us take back what is rightfully ours.

Flora swallowed, willing herself to stop the flow of tears. What the other Negaverse agent had said only made her angrier. Perhaps she did have no reason to cry, that she would have known that she would have ended up like this, at the mercy of the bad guys (er, girls) and die honorably fighting for their cause. At least that was what it said in comic books and cartoons. But she did not want to die, she did not think it was a honorable death. It was not a good death, either. She didn't want to drag Pegasus down with her... yes, that was Pegasus, finally here. Could her attack do any good? What was it again? There were three Negaverse lieutenants to two senshi, one of them who was lying there and could do nothing now. It wasn't a fair fight, but when would the Negaverse play fair? They could do anything they pleased to do. They were bound by no contract to protect others, to fight for what was right. They were instead, bound to their cruel aim to destroy the world.

"C...castor." She gasped out as he landed near her. Three against two now. She did not count herself.

As Serandite's hand lifted from her chest, her starseed in her grip, Flora started choking. It felt as though her very life was being pulled out, because that was what it was. It was horrifying, it made her feel cold. The cold could not be compared to the harshness of winter she always hated. It was a cold that seeped into your veins, your muscles, your everything, made you shudder with a sense of dread. She almost expected to see the Reaper hovering above her, waiting for her to die. The black hooded skeleton would be much more welcoming than these cruel Negaverse agents.

But even as she was weak, she was not going down without a fight. She was not going to meet the Reaper without knowing she had not given up to the very end.

It was time to use her attack again, no matter how draining it was.

"F...flora Pollen...Fever!" She managed to wheeze out, brooch glowing as she did so. Hopefully, Serandite would have been distracted by Castor enough to not dodge her attack, as the sparse cloud of pollen headed towards her to choke her face. It was tiring for the Senshi of Spring and she did not see if her attack had succeeded.

Everything had went black, and even as she fainted, she fervently hoped that Castor and Pegasus would not die.

Just as Castor was not the boy Serandite had once met, Tanzanite was not the same girl he'd last butted heads with. Grey eyes locked on, dark lashes pulled down in a glare. Lips parted, but her words were lost as Pegasus' attack sent pain racing up through her leg. Whatever insult had been prepared was swallowed back as her knees buckled, and Tanzanite stumbled forward. Only a hand pressed to the concrete saved her from a nasty fall, and Tanzanite pushed herself back up with a wordless snarl. Her right boot bore long-thin shreds, a bit of blood showing between the splits in the leather. It hurt, but it wasn't broken. Thank ******** God it wasn't broken.

“Big words,” she said flatly, giving a small nod to Linarite's command while keeping her eyes on Castor. She took a step away from Pegasus, enough to get away from her grasp. Linarite could handle a single senshi, especially one that had already injured herself almost as badly as she'd injured her targets. The bluenette was her direct superior, an order imposed by Charonite himself. As such, Linarite's command was not to be questioned. She focused her attention on Castor, but did not move forward to assist Serandite. Not yet. Instead, she folded her arms across her chest, out of range should he decide to unleash his attack upon Serandite.

“You spared my life when you could have killed me, Castor. I apologize that I do not have the luxury of doing the same. However, if you would like to start running, I can promise you a small head start.”
PostPosted: Sun Jan 17, 2010 8:01 pm

The hell. How many times had he been hit in the groin? Insane, it was like they were trying to render him a dickless wonder. A freak. God. Crunching back down in pain, his grip also tightened on Serandite's wrist. After a few seconds on failed movement and Castor's half bent form, the senshi looked up and glared at the girl who had tried to make sure he'd never reproduce. The rage and anger behind his eyes was very plain to see. "...You've made your choice then." Grunting out the words, Castor pulled Serandite down, his own fist going up into her gut.

Letting the girl go to writhe, he faced Tanzanite and Linarite, if on unsteady legs. "...Get out Tanz. I don't want your blood on my hands." A look to lLinarite. "I don't want to hurt either of you."

DAMNIT. Pollen. Since she had been directly above Flora, the blast of pollen hit her strongest and immediately overtook her senses with a large dose. Sure, the attack was significantly weaker-- unless you were within point blank range of it. Serandite's mind went blank for a moment, the numb state didn't give her time to register Castor's words.

Serandite hadn't been prepared for Castor's attack. If she wasn't in a fit of coughing and sneezing from Flora's pollen attack, she probably could of had a decent chance as evasion. But as it turns out, she didn't have a chance.

Red pain dotted her vision. Immense pain blasted from her gut to her whole body, similar to Castor's groin pain. Serandite had a delicate and small frame, not ideal at all for fighting and she wasn't used to physical pain to top it off. Her delicate form collapsed to the ground, falling to her side. She remained immobilized on the ground, her face scrunched up but no sound of pain came out. One hand clutched her stomach while the other held a shaky hold on her mouth, attempting to stop the constant sneezing.

Someone was going to bruise. Badly. Damnit, that scout sure did hit girls NOW. Why couldn't he have stayed wimpy like last time?
PostPosted: Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:06 am

The blast had been effective, but the damage it had done had certainly not been one-sided. The teal skirt laced around the typical white leotard like fuku was ripped, her white gloves sharing a similar fate. The places where her skin was exposed through the gloves and her upper legs were red and littered with cuts of all patterns where the skin had been torn by the force, bleeding but shallowly. A few drops of blood on the cement by her head indicated she had probably hit the back of her head on the concrete. The negaverse lieutenants' injuries seemed similar, and for a moment it seemed that the plan had worked completely as one was shoved away from her, and Linarite detangled them.

That is, until Linarite sat on her back, hand hovering between her shoulderblades.

"No I won't," She hissed out, a whispered, slightly gravelly sound that betrayed just how tired and injured she was. But Pegasus had no intention of laying there while Castor fought off the rest of the lieutenants. Flora was out of commission -- a few feet away, she could see the girl's limp form, obviously unconscious, while Castor and Serandite fought tooth and nail over the fate of her starseed. And the violet-haired girl, standing out of range of his attack. Tanzanite? It didn't matter. Besides the fact that she could not just sit by and watch as her best friend's fate hung in a two-vs-one battle, she was sure Linarite would not hesitate to steal her starseed regardless of if she didn't move or not.

So she decided to move.

Twisting with her body, she made a wild attempt to grab at Linarite's arm as she did so, pulling her off and scrambling up and ignoring the chaos that seemed to have resulted from a combination of Flora's pollen and Castor's punch. She also ignored Tanzanite, oblivious to the extent of damage she could do and rushing out to scoop up Flora as best she could. She wasn't physically strong, by any means, but it was amazing what a little adrenaline and a henshin pen could do.

"Castor..." That gravelly tone again. Hopefully, he could take that one word and interpret it's meaning. Which was pretty much just 'Help.'

God damn that little b***h. Sailor Pegasus was absolutely now at the top of Linarite's 'senshi to kill immediately' list, for she was incredibly dangerous and absolutely resourceful. Had she been on the right side, things might have gone well for her, but no. She was a ******** senshi, and she was going to die, preferably as soon as humanly possible. As the three of the opposite side clustered together, shielding the blond senshi, Lina could really only see one option.

Lunging forward, she all but dragged Serandite back by her collar and thrust her at Tanzanite. "Get her back to the boss, make sure she's taken care of. We can't win this one now, damn it all to hell." As she spoke low, under her voice, her mind was working overtime. No matter what angle she came from, it didn't seem like it would work. Pegasus could shoot off her damn explosion again, and Castor's hail was not pleasant whatsoever. In a fist fight, they could hold their own, but now? Not so much.

Snarling, she hurled her words at the senshi. "You got lucky today, flower brat, but don't worry. One day we'll find you again and I won't mess around next time. I always learn my lesson." Gold eyes lingered for a moment on the Senshi of Hail, and regret warred with anger. "We're only getting stronger, so watch your back." With that parting shot, motioning to Tanzanite, she hopped off in the opposite direction of Hillworth, hoping to lure whatever senshi might pursue.

Hopefully, it was none of them.
