Kaien blushed at the fact that he was pressed against Korays side and laughed a little. "I'm sorry, its the first storm i've been in with out my big brother Toshiro, hes also my Twin and i've always felt more comfortable with him and hes always been there for the storms. Him and Mama Thrud." He said as he got a little closer. "But this is comfy too..." He said blushing more as he looked at his feet. He didn't know why he was as comfortable with Koray as he was with his twin Hiro but it was nice. "Would you like me to tell you about another comic now? Or should i go on with the Green Lantern?" He asked softly, his cheeks still a little red.

The Turkish Van shook his head with an easy grin. "No worries. There really isn't anything to be apologizing for. You're used to having family around during these bad storms. I'm new, but I'll stay until it passes." Koray nodded and looked along the Green Lantern section, making a humming sound as he mused over what he wanted to learn about. "The Green Lantern is good, but I want to learn about everything. Can you teach me about another superhero, or maybe you can show me those mangas you mentioned? I'll be happy with just about anything. We're going no where fast so we have a good while to enjoy ourselves in here."

Kaien jumped as thunder boomed in the sky again and curled against Koray again. "Oh umm Loveless? you'll like that one. There...Theres lots of action and fighting." He said as he looked around to find where it was and then made his way over to the shelf, shaking alittle bit in fear of when the net thunder would boom or flash of lightening. He looked at the shelf and jumped up one more and pushed down the book called Loveless. He brought it over and setteled back down next to Koray. "This is about people with kitty ears and tails. But they loose them after...well after they do adult things." He said with a blush as he opened the book to show him everything in it.

Koray pressed his forehead against Kaien and smiled, when he jumped at the thunder and curled against him. "Sure. Loveless sounds really good." He sat up and watched the other go get the manga. He didn't really like seeing Kaien shaking in fear at the raging storm outside. Settling right back against him when he got back, Koray shifted his eyes to Kaien's and gave a slight nod before looking to the book with a flick of his ear. "Cool...Adult things... Huh..." He followed along, blinking or clearing his throat slightly when there was mention of adult things. The Van cat kept himself curled close against the other, nestled close to offer comfort for the next flash of lightning or crash of thunder.

Kaien blushed a little as Koray helped try to comfort him in the storm. He scooted a little closer to Koray as he started telling him about loveless and reading the first manga to him. He liked it alot, and Sobi's hair in it reminded him of his Papa Yuuki. And he was his favorite person in the manga. He told him about the plot for it and that some crazy stuff would happen later so pay attention here at the beginging where it kinda makes since while it can. His Tail kind of curled around Korays back to make himself feel better with more contact to someone who seemed to want to help him calm down. He kept having to stop every so often when the noises outside scared him but he always kept going, knowing that Koray was there to help make it not so scary.

Koray found himself really liking Loveless. It was neat, what he was picking up from listening to Kaien read and explained things. He was only mostly paying attention, his focus drifting around from the pages of the manga, the storm outside, and the boy pressed against his side. The Van curled his bottle brush tail around the other, nestling close to offer at least some degree of comfort when the thunder got bad. Once, when the rumble of the thunder got so bad to rattle the windows of the comic store, he touched his nose to Kaien's cheek and gave him a little lick. "It'll pass, Kaien. It's the worst before getting better."

Kaien looked at him as he was licked and felt himself blushing deeply. "Thanks...I-i'm sure it will. I just don't know why it has to be so scary right now...." He said shaking as he curled into the warm tail around him. H looked at the book and took a breath as he reminded himself that he was teaching Koray about the story and reading to him. He kept talking, studdering a little more with the scary noises going on and tried to keep talking so that he might forget about the storm outside.

The Turkish Van looked out the window at the roiling storm outside. Hmm. Kaien's reading to him wasn't helping him calm down. There had to be something that could be done to help take the other's mind off of the storm. He, himself, wasn't too bothered by the crashing thunder and flashes of lightning, save for the occasional tense of his muscles or slight jump if it was particularly loud. Ahh. He had a bit of an idea. It was a roll of the dice if it would work, but he would see.
Shifting his golden eyes back to Kaien and the manga, he nodded as he listened. The manga was interesting, but he was wanting his company to be feeling more comfortable than he was. A slow, broad grin spread across his features and Koray slowly turned his head to look to Kaien. "Say, Kaien..." He grinned brightly and rose to his feet. "I wanna sing to you! Oh, please say you'll listen." His bottle brush tail twitched behind him in his eagerness. The tom remembered practically all of the songs that his previous owner had put on. The tunes were catchy and the singers voices were nice. Sure, he occasionally sang to himself when he was preoccupied with something, he just hoped that he could do them justice. "Please?"

Kaien smiled a little and nodded. "That would be nice. Aunty Mir sings to us some times. And i like it. I cant sing...None of my parents sing at all hehe." he said with a little smile as he shrank into Koray more when another thunger clap souned. He looked up at Ko and smiled softly. "Please sing something nice soon or i might get too scared to sleep later...And i had planned on sleeping tonight..." he said softly as he shivered in fight against the other males side.

Koray beamed and dipped his head. "Good! Then I can be your personal singer! Your Aunty Mir can have you where ever you live and I can hold your attention whenever we meet again." He gave a bit of a laugh. "Don't worry. I'll sing you something nice and upbeat. Let's see...Ahh. I know..." The tom cleared his throat and began to serenade Kaien with a rousing rendition of Billy Joel's River of Dreams. He loved that song, and he couldn't think of anything better to help draw Kaien's attention away from the storm. He was tapping out the rhythm with his feet and it wasn't too far into the song before he hopped up to slowly dance around Kaien, bobbing and bouncing with the beat. If the thunder seemed bad or if he simply felt like dancing closer, he would, giving the other little encouraging or comforting nudges.

Kaien smiled and nodded happily at the idea of Ko singing for him when he was with him. He held back a blush with much difficulty as he started singing a fun sounding song. He pulled his tail close and held it with a smile as he listened to Ko sing to him. He liked that he got closer at times in the song and tried to comfort him as the sounds outside tried to scare the poor kid. He smiled at Koray and a tiny blush broke through and turned his cheeks a soft pink color as he kept looking at the other males face and cute way he danced. He covered his mouth with his tail to hide a smile as he let Ko finish out the song with out Kaien bothering him. He had known that he didn't lean towards the females like his twin did but he hadn't known that he would find someone he liked so soon...

When his song ended, he sat down in front of Kaien with a big smile on his face, fluffy tail swishing behind him proudly. He had caught sight of the other tom's blush and had to suppress his grin as he noticed him trying to hide a smile behind his tail. He was really cute. Koray never really put much thought into his leanings romance-wise, but if he really thought about it, he had always been a bit more easy around other guy. Huh. Maybe he was gay. That'd be okay with him. There wasn't anything anywhere that said it wasn't right. Deu never said anything about it, nor had his previous owner. He still considered himself young, but hey, he was rather liking the feeling of liking Kaien. "So, what'd you think, Kaien? That's one of my favorites. Did you like it?" The Van smiled brightly.
The storm outside had calmed a bit, the bulk of the raging thunder and lightning had moved further away from the comic store, their sounds more muffled with the growing distance.

Kaien smiled a ltitle as he finished the song and clapped his hands. "That was a very nice song. I liked it alot. It made me feel better." He said as he heard the storm moving off. He smiled and patted next to him as he yawned. "I think i'm ready to sleep if you would like to sleep here, out of the rest of the rain." he said with a smile as he curled up on the ground with a smile. He wondered if Ko would stay here with him...or if he would snuggle him while they slept. He giggled and smiled again softly hoping that he would get to see more of Koray after tonight.

Koray's smile brightened at Kaien's response. He felt a swell of pride in his chest and he bowed his head politely. "Well, thank you very much, Kaien. I'm glad I brought a smile to your face." Giving a big stretch and sighing, glancing from the window back to the other tom, he agreed. "I definitely wouldn't say no. I could use a bit of a snooze and wouldn't mind sleeping out the rest of this rain." He scooted to the place that Kaien patted and nestled up against him. Pausing to give a short yawn, he smiled to the other, his tail curling over their feet. "I'll see you went the sun shines."

Kaien smiled at Ko as he settled down and curled up against him. He purred happily and curled against his side and smiled to himself. "See you in the morning." He said with a smile as scooted a little close as the last sounds of the storm fell away and he closed his eyes and fell asleep next to his new friend.
