@pheonix_echo: Well, yeah, I love M*A*S*H too, and have gotten comments about my name... but the Hawkeye I was refering to was Lt. Hawkeye of Fullmetal Alchemist. I am a So Cal girl, born and bred, so I can't imagine living in Tennessee... Maybe to visit once or twice, but never live!

Just out of curiosity, where are you running away from? I live in Oregon, and I want to know what I have to work with to convince you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS HICK STATE!

Wait a minute... you're calling OREGON a hick state!? What the crap!? Have you ever even visited Tennessee? What about imagining a southern Californian living in TN, huh? xp ((by the way, he's a Texican, but he won't be running away anytime soon))
I'm from L.A. and moved to a logging town with less than 4000 people.... I live in a Hick State. This is the logging country, afterall, and there are plenty of hicks here.

Okay, here's what I have to say about Oregon:

We first moved here during the summer, and the first thing I said was, "Mom, it's so green here!" I soon found out why.

It rains from October to June. It rains every year on my birthday, June 28, and the worst part about it is that when it rains, its never cold enough to stick. When its not raining, its blistering cold wind and fog that never leaves. We had the weather at 19 degrees Farenheit for 2 weeks!

Another thing is the allergies. ORegon, I guess, has this really weird mold that grows no where else in the world, and so many people are ellergic to it. When I lived in California, I never had allergies or asthma, but now that I've moved here, I'm allergic to about 3 kinds of trees, one being Douglus Fur, our Christmas Tree, and I'm allergic to that special mold stare and I have Asthma Attacks at least once every 2 weeks. That's not fun, if you ask me.

Also, there's the ocean. It's nice and all, but no fun to go swimming in because its too cold, and it smells too much like fish sad

Once last thing: I moved from L.A., and I can tell you this. The drugs are bad here. Beyond Bad. Oregon has one of the highest drugs rates in the U.S. when it comes to Meth, and because of the drugs, we have once of the highest drop out rates as well. Because so many people don't want to be in school, the atmosphere of a classroom is almost beyond learning because almost no one wants to be there.

OG, assuming your little sister isn't your little sister by birth, or legally either, than chances are her parents would be a problem. I know my parents would never allow such a thing regardless of how close I was to this person online. Seriously, stay home. We all have trials and we all have to overcome them.

If you run you will die. To see if you dont mind being hungry dont eat for a whole day. See how you like that. Dont drink for a day. If you go three days without water then your body starts shutting down. If you run away how will you stand the below freezing weather. I lived in Oregon now Washington. Your parents would call the police then what? Your "sis" would call your parents. (If she knew you or them) No matter what stay home.

I'm not his little sister. in fact, I'm 4 years older then him. @ OG: my parents would freak out if you ever showed up on my doorstep unexpectidly.

sweatdrop Unless he meant me, in which case I'm about a year older than him, so . . .
Same goes for me if you showed up on my doorstep. Not that I wouldn't try to find you a place (I'd have you stay in the dorms at school (oh, you'd have fun there)), but they'd still freak if you came directly to my house . . .

I dunno what you're trying to run from, but instead of doing something drastic, try talking to your parents. Believe it or not, they're not out to make our lives miserable. I'm sure that if you let them know how you really felt, they would do their best to help you get what you really desire. Give it a shot anyways -- running away isn't going to help you, and it will make so many people worry about you.
