"I'm usually more grouchy than this." She grinned slightly. She'd taken after her mother in that respect but so long as she wasn't surrounded by a large group she seemed able to keep her temper in better check. "Though i am usually also stuck talking to at least three others at once and rarely get one on one conversations."
She tipped her head slightly again. "Is herb collecting fun?"

"Naah," he laughed. He figured ones were only grouchy if they wanted to be. She was just one to probably not want to be around too many too often. He could respect that; it's why he was a shaman. Most members only came up to him if they needed something, and otherwise he kept to himself. Unless he got a little too restless and needed a voice other than his own to hear.
"It's fun sometimes, other times not," he shrugged. "Some days I just want to be lazy, but then fate would deal me a hand where I would probably regret it for the rest of my life, so~" He arched a brow. "Would you want to come with me one time?"

She knew she was usually grouchy even if he disagreed. It was just the normal state of things.
"It might be interesting. I've never really paid that much attention to plants other than ones my mother told me to stay away from because they make you itch"

"Well, I'd be happy to have a companion. Sometimes it gets a little boring looking for plants on your own. I'd be happy to give you a few pointers, just for things to look for."
He twitched an ear about the itch thing. Yeah, more of the cubs probably needed those lessons too, or at least about silly little spiders.
"Do you want to stay close to the lands?"

She nodded and smiled slightly. "I would like that, though i will warm you i might ask enough questions that you will regret it." Even though she wasn't social she always asked a million questions when she was learning something.
"I don't think i should go too far away...." She wasn't all that comfortable being out of the confines of the jungle.

He smiled, accepting her challenge. "I've yet to regret anything, so we'll see just how many questions you've got."
He understood about leaving, as he only left when he needed to. It was why he asked, especially with the way the pride lived in dealing with what they considered outsiders or strangers. "I can find most of what I need here, so perhaps we shall meet again a bit later? When the sun sets and the moon's light peeks through the trees. Unless now works, I am open-minded."

"Exploring at night would be better on my nerves." She nodded. She didn't need to have any sort of incident with her abilities while trying to learn something or while making a friend. It wasn't a good first or second impression.
