Mat & LT are the ogds of the Gaurdsmen around here.
& yes the Khrone berserkers have all received a replacemnt mark of Chaos undevided & they are now troops

okay just wanted to make sure.
You should outfit the ex-berserkers with a furious charge and some other essentials of an assualt squad flamer, power weapon or a meltagun.
I would take away the krak gernades since your obliterator cults should be enough to take out any tanks that show their faces. Also I would take the power weapon from the havoc squad and give it to one of the squads with the flamers or the melta gun. Also the Bikes might be better served if you gave them with a power weapon instead of the meltaguns since I'm not sure that bikes are able to fire at one target and assualt another so the biggest strength of the melta gun won't be very useful to the squad since the main shooting weapons that kill space marines aren't made any less deadly by the +1 T.

Now I know that you don't really like my opinions but I'll give it anyway.
Damn I don't even have the normal nitpicky complaints that I always have about this army. You obviously don't have a lack of anti-infantry fire-power and you have plenty of lascannons in your army so you don't have a tank killing problem either.

Im planning on shaving upgrades off and swaping out most of the Chimera chassis vechiles for some exterminators, I think i can sqeese in two of those and another normal Russ, I stillplan to keep machine gods blessing and ace gunners those really paid off today

Opinions differ on how to field an army and how to kit it out. You can't tell a person to go to hell for sticking with ideas of his own. Here's my 2k list that's more or less created in such a way that it can take on any army, utilizing the Cadian shock troops doctrines. While at the one hand I am aiming for a combat effective force, on the other hand I wanted smll touches of flavour. Most of these were modeled onto the mini's, such as extra equipment or other weapons counting as lasguns, to break up the clone effect you get with mob armies. In some cases I actually spent points on adding character, as with the veteran of my command squad, toting bionics as a nice, 'tough as nails' touch.

As for the Doctrines, I used them sparcely, only tossing the sharpshooters doctrine in the two fire support squads, where missed shots would be felt the most. As for Iron Discipline, it's something of a must in my armies. I can't leave without it.

I use almost no add-ons on my vehicles, going for the basics, with the exception of my Demolisher, who can and has survived hell several times over.

Anyway, rag / b***h / discuss away on this.

This is a fluff based army. My effective range is about 24 inches. I beleive that this is where templar should be when they begin to engage the enemy. So I know this is a weakness. I am hoping I am able to overcome the enemy before this becomes to big an issue and casualties overwhelm me. Game tommorrow so alladvice welcomed.

HQ
Castillian Erikos IVX 130
-Storm Bolter
-Power sword
-Artificer armor
-Terminator Honours
-Holy orb

His survival is key to my army making across the board as fast as is possible.

Emperors Champion 100 (Revered brother Mamosa has earned this honor Former Sword brethren assault terminator)
-Uphold the honor of the emperor (I like this vow as it really says Zealot in my mind)

Elites
Sword Brethren Assault terminators X5 225 Normally a squad of 6. Yet Brother Mamosa has won the honour.
-1 Thunder Hammer and storm shield
-4 Ligtning claws
-Crusader seals
-Furious Charge

Troops Firm believer that for every non troop choice there should be another unit of troops in the army.

Sherbet 9 initiates 5 neophytes 275
-Bolt pistol close combat Weapons
-Power fist
-flamer
-frag and krak grenades
-crusader seals

Hazelnut 275
As above

Irish creme 7 Initiates 5 Neophytes 207
-Bolters
-Plasma gun
-Multi-melta
-Crusader seals

Fast Attack
This is my main anti tank unit. They have the speed but I always fear the close combat as there numbers always seem a problem.

Bike squad Decaf 5 bikes 1 attack bike 261
-3 melta guns
-1 multi-melta
-Krak grenades

Heavy
This is my main fire magnet from the start of the game. It usually works wrather well. I enjoy using it to destract the enemy while my other units get closer and closer to the task at hand.

Vindicator Vendictive giant 143
-smoke
-Extra armor
-Pintle mounted storm bolter (Came from england preassembled and painted I have not broke this off yet.)

Total 1592 I think I am off somewhere.
Models 54

I will be faceing tyranids or undivided chaos. The joy of a small town not many opponents. Tyranids I have fought on many occasions vs another guy who moved a while ago. This new guy relies heavily on te big nasties and I think I can handle them. It is the caos I fear as I have not fought chaos in about 3-4 years. plus no two chaos armies are the same. Any and all advice will help. I can add almost any unit except for regular terminators and jump pack units. All ideas are appreciated. This is also my first game with Close combat terminators. I have not used terminators in about 2 years so it will be fun.

I'd give the Exterminators heavy bolter sponsons as it's a meatgrinder tank and with the extra bolters, it's only better at turning infantry into minced meat.

Good lad, Imperial Guard tanks without sponsons are no real threat these days, but thanks to the new rules, we can tear them a new one.

My local shop owner asked me to make two lists and supply armies for new gamers to learn with. Since my guard and eldar were both purchased used. They have shoddy paint jobs and the full lists are not great without a lot of war gear. I decided to use them. I tried to keep it pretty simple that means very little special rules. I played to the guards strengths. But I feel I short changed the eldar. So a little help please.

The lists have been rehashed and posted below by Lozt.

Why does no one ever advise on the lists here???

an attempt at a fluffy chapter. Very bad fluff writer...

Traits: Scions of mars, Never despair, Flesh over steel, Faithful unto death.

A bit of fluff. Not very good at this part.: Lost in a warp storm. They find themselves on the eastern fringe cut off from support. Being few in number the veterans choose to lead the regulars into battle. Being driven on by the Chaplain Diemnus, They would wrather die then see xenos or heretic take hold another world.

Thats all for now. On to the list.

HQ
Tech marine 151 (Someone has to do repairs)
Full harness
Bolt pistol
Term honors
Tech servitors (Fits the fluff a bit better but not the list.)

Chaplain Diemnus MoS 161
Bolt pistol
Art armor
Iron halo (explains his ability to survive)
Term honors

Elites
Venerable dread 153
Tank hunter
multi-melta
extra armor
Smoke

Troops
Alpha 197 7 marines
Veteran sgt
Term honors
term armor
Storm bolter
Thunder hammer (Model is equipped already)
Flamer
Frag and Krak

Bravo 182 7 Marines
Veteran Sgt
Term honors
Term armor
Power fist
Storm bolter
Flamer
Frag and Krak

Charlie 170 6 Marines
Vet sgt
Term honors
Term armor
Storm bolter
Power fist
Plasma gun
Plasma cannon

Delta 158 6 Marines
Vet sgt
Term honors
Term armor
Storm bolter
Power fist
Frag and Krak

Heavy
Devestators 230 6 marines
Vet Sgt
Term honors
Term armor
Storm bolter
Power fist
Las-cannonsX2
Missle launcher

Total: 1402
34 men
1 vehicle

Devs sit back and hit priority targets. While the two larger squads advance one led by the Chaplain. The dread advances with them. The smaller forward bolter squad is held back a bit to reinforce the line when nessecary. The plasma squad advances if nessecary but acts as a cover fire unit from mid range. With the dread as close range support/Fire magnet.

Thanks to any and all who reply,
Lozt
