But then again there are the tribes where the women are topless all the time. And I doubt the men all think, "Oh, my god a breast!.....Holy crap another breast!...Wowza there's a..." all day either. xp
Probably not. But legs are not a sex organ, and sometimes bare legs will arouse men.

You might want to read up on feminism before you start making statements like that. wink

Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism

Quote:
The term Feminism can be used to describe a political, cultural or economic movement aimed at establishing more rights and legal protection for women. Feminism involves political and sociological theories and philosophies concerned with issues of gender difference, as well as a movement that advocates more gender-specific rights for women and campaigns for women's rights and interests.

I know what feminism is, thanks.
I still am not a fan...

As for wearing a bra being bad for you...
I have DDs and It hurts my back incredibly to not wear a bra!
They're heavy, and not only that, I don't want them smacking me in the face when I run....
So yes, I still stand by my original statement that walking around without a bra [for me at least, and many others] can cause some damage.

Sorry... I'm not trying to be rude.

You said "probably" and admitted you "didn't really know" in your last post, so to me that sounded like you didn't have a solid idea of what feminism was. That's why I included the quote. Sorry for my misunderstanding.

Hmm, that's odd. I am a DD as well. I do have back pain, but it hasn't worsened any since I stopped wearing a bra. I'd actually say my back pain is probably a bit better now than it was, but I really can't say if it's related to bras or to other lifestyle changes.

But you might want to check with a doctor or chiropractor about the back pain if you haven't already. A lot of people think back pain and big breasts have to go hand in hand, but that isn't necessarily the case. I'd go too, but I am currently without health insurance. xp

True. I wonder if an attraction to legs is sort of hardwired into the male brain. Or if it's only there because we didn't always allow legs to be shown in public and still don't get to see them all the time (at least not in the chilly place that I live!). I'd like to go study the sexual interests of some naked tribal people now. xp

Oh...
what I meant by that was that they would probably think that, but I'm not inside their heads, so I don't really know...people have different opinions you know?
haha.

Although I do like bare, healthy legs, it's not nearly as a attractive as the breasts.

A friend of mine told me that breasts are only sexualized in Western cultures. I haven't researched this at all, but if it's true it's very interesting.

Japan begs to differ... >_>;; XD

But I heard it's legal to go topless in New York for women, although like someone mentioned earlier it probably is a good way to attract negative attention.

And from a guy's perspective, it's not indecent exposure to show a woman's breasts in public, unless that woman is really old.

Indecent exposure means to show a private part that it isn't socially acceptable to show. So whether the woman is "really old" or not doesn't really matter. Whether men would enjoy it or not, it's not socially acceptable for a 20 year old to be topless in most places, so it would still be indecent exposure.
INDECENT EXPOSURE wow so tell me is it indecent for a man to bare his chest ?

It can be if the man that is going topless happens to be on the heavy side and have man boobies. Also, if society aloud women(which I think will happen one day) to go topless if they want. Eventually the male part of society will adapt and no longer get turned on from seeing them as it because just a every day thing, nothing special..

What is indecent depends on what society says is ok and not ok to show. That varies a lot from one society to the next, one area to the next, one occasion to the next, etc. For example, men are allowed to show their bare chest at beaches and by pools. But if a man shows up at a bank or restaurant without a shirt, that would be considered indecent in most places, and he would probably be asked to leave.

It already has happened "one day". Like I said, New York and some other places allow for women to go topless.

However, certain areas like restaurants still won't allow it along with topless males due to sanitation reasons. And while the city or state may allow for it, business owners can also impose their own rules over what is and is not allowed on their property.
