Oh, my. This was very absorbing to read and unusually detailed. I've had trouble thinking of anything I felt you needed to add. The one thing I'm a little unsure of is how Jake handles tragedy/truly miserable situations. Maybe this would be something to explore in RP, but I feel like it would add a little depth and gravity to his character that I think might be a good thing to have.
Anyway, sorry for the not-terribly-in-depth crit, it's really mainly intended to tell you how impressed I am. heart
