Chuckles, watching her confused look. "No dude, that means you get high. You feel mellow..." Shrugs as he rests back against a tree trunk and stretches a bit. "That's true. You know...I like your wings. I bet you can fly easily..." He felt out of place with lions that had wings.

"High?" Muses a bit, even more confused. "But if you don't have wings... how can you get high? You really don't make any sense... Yeah, I can fly.. but my family lives in a cave and we don't get out much, it kind of sucks." Taking a look at his back, she scolded herself for not noticing he didn't have wings before now.

"Nevermind. I doubt you'd like it much anyway..." Puts the pot to the side for now, looking at her as his head begins clearing up more. "Yeah well...my grandma doesn't have wings either." Shrugs as he moves so she can see what it looks like to have no wings. "It's easier to run really fast so...it's not that bad."

"Well... I suppose that works." She tilts her head to the side, still squinting with the light hit her eyes. Narrowing her eyes, she let out a growl and hiss toward the sun before turning back to look at him. "Maybe... I take things for granted... I couldn't imagine not having wings... no offense..."

"It's cool, not many lions are born without them. I don't let it bother me...I prefer the ground." He shrugged and moved to rest against the trunk of the tree again, his eyes on her once more. He felt questions rise in his head but pushed them away, he just wanted to relax. "So you don't like the sun...why are you out at all?"

Aranei let out a deep sigh, turning her head so that she didn't have to look at him. "I'm out... because I want to know what its like to be like other lions... My mothers... don't let us out during the sunlit hours, and I just wanted to know what it was like." Tilting her head to one side, she mused, "Are all other lions who come out in the sun wingless?"

"Really? That seems harsh...though it sounds like they hate the sun. I guess they just wanna protect you." Looks at her, sighing deeply hearing just enough of the muse. "No...wingless lions are rare. Some have four or even six wings."

Nods slightly, squinting her eyes to catch sight of the sun beginning to lower down in the horizon. Smiling a little at that thought, she relaxes. "Mother Lin is a spider. Most spiders like the sun... but for whatever reason... she is a night spider... And Mother Arei.. she is a shadow." Hearing the last bit of the statement her eyes widened, "Really, lions with six wings?"

"Having a spider lioness and a shadow lioness as your mothers...that must be wicked cool. My Mom is a smoking hippy and my dad is an evil swamp monster...Got this tongue from him." Chuckles, nodding to the question. "I saw one the other day! Six full sized wings! It was so amazing..."
