"Oh, thank you." He smiled with a nod, slipping what could get tucked away in some pocket or another. Deu looked from Yami to the jewelry that the younger she-cat would like to keep. "If you'd like, I could put those somewhere safe for when you are ready to use them. I have plenty of places in my place that we could keep them." The tom stretched his arms forward, the now untangled wire ball organized into a couple of bundles and bound together by one of the longer wires he had managed to extract. Only he got started, he had to stretch everything else. He arched his back and rolled his neck before stretching his legs and sighing contently as he settled back to normal.

Deucalion shifted his eyes comfortably over to the Siberian and smiled. "Sure. Just pick up what you can carry and I'll take care of the rest. Don't try to carry more than you are comfortable. I don't want anything to happen while we're transporting these things to my place if a dog shows up or something and we're overloaded with stuff." At her question, he blinked and nodded. "I don't see why not. You seem like a perfectly fine feline to me." He smile shifted to a bit of a boyish grin, rather unintentionally, at her last statement. His tail swished behind him. "Heh, thanks. This is a big area so I could only imagine." Deu paused for a moment. "You know, if I am not mistaken, you will be the first to get an in depth tour of my workshop."

Deucalion dipped his head with a bit of a smile. "Exactly." He accepted the thing she passed to him and slipped them into a hidden pocket inside his vest over his heart, a rarely used pocket, so there was nothing that could get tangled or scratched. Rising, the tom gathered up the watch and robotic dog and tucked the orderly bundle of wire under his arm. "Of course," He chimed and gave a 'This way' sort of motion with his head. The Selkirk descended her hill and made a beeline for a cluster of buildings, opting to head down one of the small side alleys. His pace a slow enough for Yami to walk along side if she so chose, yet his gait held the steady confidence of one who was familiar with these walks.

He chuckled at her eager questioning. "Well, let's see." He couldn't think of exact measurements off of the top of his head at the moment. On a cork board on the back wall of his work shop, there was a scrap of paper that he had scribbled the dimensions shortly after he had found the place. "Big enough to hold a decent work space, storage, and a few running projects. I sometimes sleep in there, but I also have a small place in the planetarium so sleep, if I can get myself away from my work table." He chuckled, almost sounding embarrassed at that. It was true that more often than not, he dozed off at his table. Generally in the cooler months he made more of an effort to get to his nook in the planetarium, but sometimes it wasn't in the cards. "How long have I occupied it? Hmm. A few years now. I do well enough to keep it relatively orderly looking though." Deu turned a corner and paused, looking both ways up and down a large walkway before crossing to the other side and walked along the wall. "It isn't too far. Is there anything else you'd like to know?"

Deu blinked a little surprised by her questions, but laughed and shook his head when she suggested he need not answer and that she be quiet. "No, no. That's quite alright. I don't mind answering. The questions have been posed and I see no harm in answering." He nodded with a grin before turning down another off-shooting walkway. "I do indeed like girls and as to the question if I am seeing anyone at the moment. No, I am not. Nor am I actively looking. If a girl comes my way and gets my attention, then I'll be fine. You can look if you want, if you insist upon me putting myself out there for all of the queens in the area. You're prerogative." The tom gave a short chuckle as she continued. "Let's see. I enjoy eel and tuna the most. I do like fish, quite a bit. Otherwise I wouldn't be living at the Aquarium. My best invention..." He paused and huffed a breath as he thought. "I take a fancy to all of my work, but my favorite would have to be a clockwork mouse I made. It tends to end up in the corners of my work shop, but it was among my first things that I built after settling here. It looks a bit crude, but I can't bear myself to fix or improve it."

Slipping behind a trio of trashcans, Deucalion opened a vented door and waved for Yami to enter. "Come along then. This is it. I do like water, just not if it threatens to damage or rust my work. Then I have a problem." He grinned and slipped inside. Walking a little ways down a dark hall, he slid aside a large vent grate and nodded her in. "It'll be straight ahead. I left the vent open on the other side, so you can go on in. There is a bit of a drop but my work table is right below."

"Oh, I've swam with the fish before. Only in the smaller fresh water exhibits though. I'm not interested in sharing the water with anything that could eat me. It's fun chasing the small fish as they scatter in front of you. I've never swam with anyone before, but I'd be willing to give it a go." He paused, flicking an ear. "Might have to see how I am at crafting myself something along the lines of swim trunks." Deucalion grinned a bit sheepishly before nodding brightly, passing over the fact that he just alluded to him swimming in the buff. "Exactly. It works fine and the crudeness gives it character."

The tom watched to make sure she got in okay before slipping into the vent and closing the grate behind him. He made his way to the vent opening in his workshop and peeked in to make sure Yami had gotten out of the way. He would be rather cross with himself if he went around and squished a girl that was a few years his junior. Once satisfied that she was, he tossed down the things that were more durable and less subject to breaking, namely the silverware, the wire bundle, and a few others. Everything else he made sure he had tucked close to his chest as he turned to back out of the vent and drop down into an easy crouch on his desk. He smiled to her as he put down the more delicate things and rose to almost close the hinged vent.

Hopping down off of his desk, Deu tugged his vest down and swept an arm behind him. "Welcome to my workshop. My own little slice of this place." Most of the walls had shelves filled with trinkets or completed projects. In one corner, there seemed to be a small collection of tiny sculptures of various things in different poses and even a few that did a simple motion or two. There was a center table that had some scribbled upon paper and some pieces and parts left scattered about the tabletop. Hung up in one corner of the room was a hammock which was supported by two hooks on the two walls that joined the corner. It was well lit and well ventilated. "No bad, huh?"
