Mau flicked her tail tip as she watched the cats, she had been busy watching, she had not noticed Demi coming for her. She turned her head quickly to the the howl of another cats war cry and tried to spring to her feet, only to be squished by another cat!
"What!" She said loudly confused as she tried to squirm free of what was holding her to the ground.

Dhiren swiveled his ears around and turned his head at the sound of some woman's panicked shout. Amber eyes settled on a familiar bobtail perched on a squirming silver cat. The tom sighed to himself and tilted his ears back. Speak of the devil, and she was already causing problems too... The Somali wondered if she had been stalking him lately; since learning about what had happened between he and Alice, she seemed to follow him everywhere. What a nosy little brat! Giving his tail a swish, Dhiren watched in mild fascination as the timid exotic male approached the two squirming cats.

Demi's little tail wagged in delight as the pretty cat cried out and struggled beneath her. Being on the small side for her age anyway, the dappled bobtail was highly amused. Bronze-colored eyes watched the Mau's face until she could no longer take it. Her claws had been sheathed the whole time of course, so when she lost her balance from all the struggling, the girl simply rolled off. Peels of laughter shook her small body, and she rolled a few feet away from the other girl, only to find herself staring into the face of a new black and white tom. "Hey... hehehe... Who are you?" She asked, staring up at him with a bright, smiling face.

Okay, now there was definitely too many cats around. How could sitting still and surveying the strange metal jungle from afar have attracted so many in such a short time? No-Name's eyes remained steadfastly narrowed in suspicion as the plump cat babbled off in the unknown language in a squeaky tone - perhaps a coercion method to lure him to sympathy - and also was determined not to look at the other male who seemed so calm on the tree stump. Now, now there were suddenly two more females to watch, and one seemed too playful, too energetic - he watched her more closely than he did the frightened femme that had been pounced upon, not only because the Bobtail was most anxious around peppy types, but because . . . Ah, yes! She too, by some stroke of luck, was of his kind! The Spirits were looking upon him with some kindness.

Letting his fur flatten back down a little, he turned his head to the bell-wearing Bobtail and spoke quickly, just as he had mistaken the first male for understanding him. "Uk cujk, u Seihuwo! Xuic, voccen Seihuwo!" No-Name greeted in earnest. "N'xe uho j'koy? N'xoho uho k'xo ek'xohj?"

Kiba watched the two cats' struggle for a moment with an almost horrified look on his face. Come on now, Kiba, they're just playing, he thought to himself, looking at the playful little bobtail. Even though the dappled gray kitty didn't seem so pleased with the little act of "fun". Kiba cleared his throat as the bobtail focused her bronze eyes on him. "H-Hello there. I'm Kiba. Um. You happen to be a bobtail... And we're having a little bit of a problem with another bobtail over there," he paused, motioning to where the no-named cat with the foreign language was. "And we were wondering if you could maybe understand him?" He offered a timid smile and nodded.

Demi blinked up at the exotic tom, then she rolled over and got to her paws. Glancing around Kiba, the little female peered over to the stout bobtail tom curiously. "Him...?" she myewed, looking for confirmation. As if answering for her, the un-named tail-less began speaking in a low, unfamiliar tongue. Demi perked her ears up and pattered up to him, tilting her head a little to the side when she got close enough. She stared in awe at his bi-colored eyes, he looked so excited to see her. Was that a question...?

The foreign tom began chittering in that strange language as soon as he spotted Demi, and Dhiren inclined his head in wonder at him. The Somali still doubted she'd have any idea what he was saying, but maybe just by having another tail-less near him, he wouldn't be so hostile. Dhiren shrugged to himself, "So, runt, what's he saying? He's your breed isn't he?" well, it was worth a try anyway.

Demi listened closely, but at Dhiren's inquiry, she straightened and looked at him with a grin. "Not a clue." the small cat chirped, "I'm pretty sure we're the same breed, but I'm not very good with other languages... that's not english, is it?" The dappled bobtail turned her bronze-colored eyes back to the foreign tom and cleared her throat before putting a hand to her chest, "Hey, there. I'm De-Mee" she spoke her name slow and clear, perking her ears forward hopefully.

More words, more of this . . . this babble. Spirits! Was he to be tossed all these kernels of possiblity without a single seed of luck? Why was it so hard to understand them and vice-versa? Who invented this gibberish, and why weren't they speaking like normal cats? Better yet, why were most of them with such long tails? Nothing made sense just like that strange and large erection full of bright colored suns and many sounds and smells, and it made the Bobtail's mind reel in a whirlwind. It was too much, everything was too much!

Too many cats, too many barriers, too many things going on that he did not understand. He needed to retreat, back to the forest for a moment of solitude once more. Thus, No-Name began to inch away. "A nacc coulo den," he told them in a low tone, continuing to back away, still semi-crouched and watching them all warily until he felt the forest was a mere leap away. Then without warning he turned and leapt into the underbrush. Foreigners . . . Where had he landed himself?

Demi blinked at the bobtailed cat's retreat and tipped her head to the side. Was that a threat just now? Bronze-colored eyes watched the strangely fascinating foreigner as he inched back from them and finally escaped into the forests bordering Ikebukuro. Giving her stubby tail a flick, the small cat turned back to the others who were gathered with a sheepish grin. "Wonder if it was something I said?" Giggling lightly, Demi walked back over to Dhiren and looked up at him, "Well that's that, I suppose... Don't you have somewhere to be?" She grinned with mischief and lowered her ears at him.

Dhiren sighed to himself when Demi's attempt at communication only succeeded in chasing off the tomcat; his expectations had been foolishly high after all. Getting to his paws, the Somali decided it was time for him to go as well, seeing as his source of temporary fascination had taken leave already. He flicked an ear back and glanced at the small female as she bounded up to him. Amber eyes stared at her playful expression unamused. "It's none of your concern, kid." He grumbled quietly, leaning down to her level for emphasis, "I'll take care of my problems on my own time. Don't you have more important things to be doing for yourself instead of constantly hounding me about Alice?" When his question was met with light-hearted laughter from the kid, Dhiren sighed again, straightened and walked off with a flick of his bushy tail. He waved to the black and white tom and the red-dress clad woman before heading back towards the city. "Don't follow me this time, runt!" He growled back to Demi as he left.

Demi snorted at the orange cat's departure and waved him off, "Whatever, grumpy." She turned on her heal, her tail wagging among the folds of her short black skirt, and marched off after the other bobtail. She had no intention of following the foreigner, for she severely disliked the uneven ground of the forests around Ikebukuro, but she wanted to make it obvious that she wasn't intentionally following Dhiren. Glancing to the Exotic in passing, the girl grinned and waved at him. "Ah, anyway, it was nice meeting you! Sorry I chased him off, though..." One ear flopped to the side as she thought about it, but she shrugged and pushed onward. The bell tied into her hair jingled lightly as she bounded off, leaving the other two on their own.
