"I..." He tapered off, eyes on his son playing foos-ball against Akuti (and kicking her a**, frankly), eyebrows wrinkling together. "..ok." Voice small still, turning to look at Ianna with that same helpless, doe-eyed look.
"...so how do we leave? I kinda want to leave. Leaving and getting a little drunk might do me some good right now." His voice is serious, chewing on his lower lip. "...I kinda wanna leave."

Ianna rolled her eyes. This man was a pansy. "The door." she said simply, pointing to one of the large, ornate doors to the center of the room, beside the counter. "You simply walk out and it should take you back to the shop. Same door you come through in the portal."
She raised a brow at him. "Your kids look like they're having fun though."

Upon seeing an exit wasn't so far away, Patrick just let out a relieved sigh, glancing down at the wand he still slutched in his hands. "..I'm fine." His voice is soft, fingers sliding over the asian writing gently.
he couldn't read it...damnit..
Lips pursed, he looked back to the kids and how well they were playing..so he grumped, sliding on hand through his hair. "When does the kid become a kid anyway? Instead of a wand?"

Ianna shrugged. "It's different for all of them, I think. We only have found homes for two others, and they're still in wand form." she smiled a bit. "They tend to grow faster than normal kids though....my daughter grew to ancient in a matter of two or three months...but she was a special case. She's the one who cast the spell." She sighed. "That's Matilda, by the way."
Matty's voice filled Patrick's head. "Hello there, Patrick."

His eyes went wide at the noise - the words - inside of his head. It was a female voice and she sounded confident... Ianna had been talking in her head, and she said her name was, "Hello, Matilda."
PAtricks voice was still quiet, fingers stroking over the wand gently.

Ianna gave a yawn. "Hey kids!" she called to them, "You guys hungry?" Ianna was actually having a pretty good time watching everyone's reactions. But she was tired. Soooo tired....
"There's a mini fridge over to the side." eyes turned over to Patrick. "How're you taking it?"

"My crickets are at home!" Iamel called out, abruptly ending his game to turn to Patrick and Ianna. "I want to go home." His voice had gotten flatter, eyes now on Patrick. He wanted to go home.
Now.
Patrick HAd to know better then to say no.
The darker man nodded distractedly, glancing to Ianna. "I'm fine." Frowning a little bit as Akuti came 'galloping' over, taking her daddys hand in her own cheerfuly. "We should probably leave.."

Ianna watched them and yawned. "Okay then. I need a nap anyway. Show yourselves out." With that, Ianna walked over to one of the large, plush couches and dropped down. "Oh, kid." she tossed a coin at Iamel. "You're a woodpecker right?" birds were a fetish of hers. "You like shiny things? There ya go." she yawned and snuggled into her couch again.
"Night! And please lock up the shop before you leave."

Iamel paused when she called out to him, a frown on his lips and twisting to face her. Just as he was about to give her a sharp retort, she tossed a shiny little coin to him.
Eyes widened and his hand shot out, hand closing in on the coin and clutching it to his chest. Shiny! Money! SHINY! So instead of snapping out something rude, he just scowled, "Thank you."
His voice was a soft mutter as he raced out after his 'family'. It was Shiny! Oh yes it was!-Fin-
