= Monthly Update: August Edition =(( Solo will be September's ))- Keru got a pet snake! His name is Reginald, and he's gold and.....glowy? No one's quite sure where the snake came from; Keru came in from outside carrying it and the snake's been around ever since - - RuRu also got into several fights with it's sibling, Nukpana. They're now being separated from each other for their own good - - Keru also got an awesomely shiny yellow messenger bag from it's older sister! - - The green one also stole a pendant from his sister after receiving the bag. - - Anali's still having difficulties with Keru. She's also working on trying to normalize her accent to make the child more comfortable. The results, however....oi - - Keru met Mhairi - = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: September Edition =- Liak brought home a kitten and its ghostly companion! Keru has claimed both and named them Dana and Shane, respectively. - - Keru and its older sister have been bonding! They've gone to the park every week and made one trip to a museum. They got escorted out when Keru tried to steal a piece of Anglo-Saxon jewelry. - - Keru attempted to make amends with its fellow androgynous sibling and offered to share gummy worms with the nightmare. The green child got bit for its efforts and decided to keep the entire bag for itself. - - Keru and Reginald have been inseparable! Awww, how cute! - - The dragixie has discovered a love for orange tea and demands it from sunrise to sunset. At least it's a healthy beverage~ - - Keru found a charm up in the attic! It's been added to his small, growing hoard of shinies - - Anali is still trying to bond with her little child. At least Keru is no longer harping over her accent? - = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: November Edition =
- Keru and Liak made Apple-Head dolls from dried apples. Keru added gold sparkles to its doll. -
- Keru discovered the joy of bubble-gum machine shinies -
- Keru got to feel the baby move. It thought it was gross. -
- Thanksgiving was incident free until Nukpana ate the turkey. The entire turkey. And all the side dishes. So Keru got to experience its first White Castle's Thanksgiving. -
- Keru's been talking to Reginald a lot. Whether the snake is listening, however, remains to be seen. It also has started talking to the ghost in the bottle, claiming it talks back. -

= Monthly Post: December Edition =- Keru and Liak teamed up to decorate the house for the holidays. They didn't use nearly as much gold as Keru thought they should. - - Keru went to see Santa at the mall! And Santa promised to bring him shinies! This Santa person is awesome! - - Momma showed everyone how to make snowmen! Keru's was the best in his opinion; it had gold glitter on it - - Keru gets to see his first Christmas special! He gets to see all the shinies that Santa has at the North Pole and now has a new idol. Well, in some aspects. He's still not handing out his shinies willy-nilly to complete strangers. - - Christmas Morning! And Santa kept his word! Keru now has new shinies to add to his collection! He also tries some figgy pudding; the song lied. It is no where near as good as they made it sound. Blech. - = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: January Edition =- After seeing it on television, Keru attempts to iceskate. In the back yard. On a frozen puddle. With wet shoes so he could move faster. Well, his face met the ice faster and bloodied his nose. He was not pleased. - - Keru attempts to make ammends with Nukpana, and gets bit for his troubles. He then vows that they are nemesises, just like on the television. - - Liak takes Keru to a winter festival with her to check out the ice sculptures. Keru gets a cool keychain out of the deal. - - Momma decides to try and show Keru how to make hot chocolate. A valuable lesson is learned: Never let Keru near an entire bag of marshmallows and a cup of hot chocolate. Would you like some hot chocolate with your cup of marshmallows? The entire bag went into the cup, and hot chocolate covered the counter. Oh dear.- = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: February Edition =- Keru gets to watch the groundhog for Groundhog's Day. It's not nearly as exciting as everyone made it out to be. Though, chasing the ground hog was fun, until RuRu got in trouble for it. - - All the kids get to make Valentines for each other! Keru and Liak make some to exchange, while Nukpana passes the time by shredding paper and making a mess. - - For Valentine's Day, Keru gets a wind chime. It's not as shiny as he'd like, but it'll do. At least it sounds pretty? - - Keru decides that February is a stupid month. It can't decide whether it wants 28 or 29 days. And it doesn't have as many as the other months! - = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: Mardi Gras March Edition =- Keru gets to make a mask for Mardi Gras! Its is pretty and golden and shiny, of course. It also learns the wonders of gold metalic duct tape, and has added the rest of the roll to his hoard. - - Keru decides he loves Mardi Gras after he learns about all the shinies and beads given out there. He also loves the extravagant outfits and attempts to make his own with the shiny duct-tape and tinfoil. - - For St. Patrick's Day, Keru got a golden clover! It decides it deserved it, since it's always wearing green. Momma said nothing to dissuade him. - - Liak and Keru got leprechaun hunting! The didn't catch a leprechaun, but they did something just as amazing! In a small pond, they found a tiny mermaid! Keru got a bucket and scooped his new friend up, deciding to keep her. She doesn't seem to speak, so Keru named her Amelia. Reginald is not happy. - = Month's Spoils =

= Monthly Post: April Edition =
- Egg-dying ends up being a disaster! Nukpana ate the dye tablets. Then the eggs. Keru is disappointed; he wanted a golden egg! To make up for it, Anali takes them to a diner so they can try some egg creams, even if they don't really have eggs in them. -
- Keru gets to try hot cross buns! But, the do not cost a penny like in the song. But they are yummy, regardless. His favorite part is the sugar cross on top of it. -
- Keru gets to go to an antique store! He found an awesome pocket watch, and Momma let him get it. He like the sound it makes, and it's a shiny! -
- Keru goes puddle jumping with Liak! Well, it tries it. It decides that this isn't for it once its clothes get mud splattered. His pretty, shiny clothes. Hey, Liak warned him it'd be messy. -

= Monthly Post: November Edition =- Keru helps Momma pick out a birdhouse to put in the front yard. Obviously, this makes it Keru's. So it picked out the closest one to shiny it could find. - - It's finally warming up, so Keru and Liak camp outside in the backyard. The two had fun, telling stories and jokes and chasing fireflies. Keru, sadly, couldn't catch any of the flying shinies to keep. - - Keru attempts to fly by climbing up on the refrigerator and ends up crash-landing on the floor. Ah, the joys of skinned up knees, bruised elbows, and screaming toddlers. Anali decides its time to start teaching him how to fly. - - Keru continues to attempt to fly on its own. It has jumped off of the sofa, the dining room table, its dresser, the wardrobe, the entertainment center, and the back porch. Anali nearly has a heart attack. - - Reginald tries to eat Amelia, and Keru gives him a stern talking to. Well, as stern as a toddler can be. Amelia's tank now has a little house for her to stay in and a mini island. Reginal wants a little island too. ono - = Monthly Spoils =
