Mara snapped out of the trance as she heard Taji. "Ok!" She called over the music and headed to the bar too, sitting next to Taji.

Taji smiled to Mara, pleased that the girl seemed to be having a good time. "I ordered us water to start with, don't want us to get dehydrated," she said, not having to shout so loudly as the music slightly died down all the way at the bar.

Mara nodded. "Got kinda winded out there. Haven't felt that much energy in a while." She gulped down some water.

"It's that kind of place," Taji chuckled, taking a large gulp from her water.
The bartender eyed the girls curiously, leaning over the counter to speak to them. "You two feeling okay still?" he questioned, his voice heavy with accent.

Taji nodded to him, smiling as she took another drink.
"Name's Tariq," he replied simply, his eyes flicking over what he could see of her, a grin on his lips.

Taji looked over him, her eyes flickering with some sort of warning. "No..." she spoke, a rather protective tone to her voice as she stared him down.
Tariq laughed softly, looking to Mara. "Seems your friend is getting a little bit worried about you. I promise I'll only bite if you want me to," he chuckled.

"Unfortunately..." Taji started, turning to Mara. "I can read his thoughts. He's a pervert."
Tariq laughed, shaking his head. "Come on, cut me some slack. I'm a great person," he told them, his voice thick with accent.

Taji looked over him, still suspicious of his thoughts or intentions. "I don't know."
"It's true! And very possible," Tariq declared with his arms crossed.

Taji looked to him, smirking. "He's thinking that he wants me to get lost so that he can attempt to seduce you."
"I never thought the word 'attempt'," he spoke, not denying his other thoughts.
