"A girl, huh?" Dale let a smile cross her lips. "With rainbow hair? Sounds interesting... sounds like fun, even. Quite a crew you've already assembled."
"I go to Crystal Academy, but I can get out easily enough. I believe you're right, Mr. Z. This has a high chance of working very well."
She looked at Demy, then at his hand, then at Demy again. She raised an eyebrow. This guy was cute, if not a complete nitwit. She could get used to his energetic attitude.
So, she shook his hand.
"Dale, Dale Spencer. I'd say this was quite an interesting meeting."

Crystal Academy?
As in that school that had all the girls that usually wouldn't even glance in his direction because he was one of those boys? Awh crap, should he tell her their school? It might ruin everything...
"We go to Hillworth..."
He blurted it out before he really had a chance to rethink it over. With a nervous grin he shook with Dale and then pulled his hand back. Greaaat, hopefully this wouldn't send her running for the hills.

"I figured Hillworth. Either Hillworth or that weird boarding school," Dale didn't go running for the hills, no. Instead, she put an arm around Demy's shoulder and gestured towards Z.
"Ah, is that why you're stuck with Mr. Frowns there?"

All smiles, Demy idly poked at the hand attached to the arm draped around his shoulders.
"He needs me man. Trust me, he really does."
Afterall, Demy was on locker-rescue duty 24/7! You know...when he wasn't playing Guitar Hero or sleeping like a rock. But Z -totally- needed him.
And Z would likely argue that the blonde needed him right back.

Still he arched an eyebrow at the arm she draped over Dem's shoulders. What -was- it with girls and liking him, especially lately. HMPH!

"Makes you two sound more like a science project than friends," Dale laughed. She noticed Z's expression and raised an eyebrow of her own before giving Demy a pat on that same shoulder.

Completely oblivious to the looks they were giving each other, Demy kept happily poking away at Dale's arm. Science project? Eh he wasn't very good at science, nor did he really understand why they'd be a project. They were friends that used each other's skills to get through their boring life at Hillworth. That was normal, wasn't it?
And if it wasn't..then what the hell -was- normal because that's all Demy had known for a while now. Hrm.
