Oh yeah, my instruments all have genders, and family ties. Claribelle and Paul were dating. Claribelle is daughter of Stacy, who is daughter of Herbert(It used to be herbert and stacy wre married, but then I realized Herbert is around 60 years old, so that would be kind of odd because stacy is only about 10.) they also have ages. Stacy is in her 30s, when herbert was her husband he was close to her age, but now he is still around 60-70, and Paul and Claribelle are in early teens.
If I play oboe or trmpet, its name will be Abella, female, and probably 6-10 years old.

i hesitantly named my concert piccolo Cassidy.
my marching piccolo is known as evil piece of s**t i want to throw at the wall.
my flute is nameless, but well loved.

although my vibes aren't mine, i played the same one for two seasons, and it's my buddy. ^.^ her name is phoebe and she's the prettiest vibes in our section! the other one looks like it was used during the civil war!

clarinet - was Jimmy Pop, now Fifitrixielalabelle.
tenor sax - Vladimir.
bass - Monroe.
so i've named every clarinet in our section. i only remember these, though:
Boris, Buttercup, Mildred, RuPaul, Clarice, George Clooney, Honey, Piece of s**t, Black Cabbage, Trojan, Pumbaa... yeah. haha.
