Mareike eyed the tub for a moment and then grinned " if they could speak my muscles would thank you." A nice soak where she could really stretch out was probably going to do more for her any anything else the other girl could possibly plan. The idea of being able to get totally comfortable and release pent up tension overwhelmed her uncertainty about being naked in a strange house.

Ebby grinned, showing Mare where all the things to fill the tub and make for a comfortable bath were before darting out to leave the older girl alone.
She returned to the room briefly to leave a couple of towels and a bathrobe for her friend to wear. "Just don't prune too much." Ebby teased, walking out again.

Mareike had laughed softly at that, she hadn't stayed in a bath long enough to prune since she was a small child. Of course as it was she rarely bathed these days to begin with. Showers were faster and more efficient most of the time so she tended to go with them, that and as she neared adulthood mareike had no desire to play with bubbles or little toys which meant she was often easily bored in the tub.

Ebony smiled at the older girl when Mare came out, and showed her over to the bed so she could get her massage. The bed had towels laid across it so that her friend didn't have to worry about getting the bed soaked while she got her massage.
"Just lay on your stomach and stretch out." the teen instructed.

Mareike shivered, less from the cooling water dripping down her body and more becuase.. this was vulnerability she was showing here. The wrath girl trusted Ebony but it went against her nature to let her guard down. To relax was to simmer to quiet the contact alertness and potential short fuse who made her who she was. Still the thistle haired teen managed to soon find herself mostly comfortable on the bed. she;d never been too happy laying on her belly as she also found it weird having to adjust until her chest didn't feel squished.

Ebby offered the older girl a pillow so her chest wasn't too squished down and moved to put a bit of special oil on Mare's back and on her own hands. This was supposed to make the friction between hands and back lessened and make this go more smoothly. The teen didn't completely understand that but went with it since it seemed reasonable.
Her hands were soft but careful as she worked the other's muscles, trying to relax her. Somehow, this reminded her of being small and brushing Enki. Speaking of which, "Hey Mare, how's your brother?"

As the tension in her muscles eased Mareike breathed softly and just sort of let her mind wander during the massage. At least until Ebony started talking anyways. " Taylor's okay, spends a lot of time in the garage these days."

Ebby blinked a bit. "Is this good or bad?" the girl inquired. It wasn't really a thing she wanted to do but some people did like that. "Has he gotten to meet either of his DNA parents yet?" she asked, deciding to ask about things she knows about.

" It seems to be good, expect that he's got a bad habit of making off with stuff to take it apart and he doesn't always know how to put it back together" That of course was the real annoying part and well a part of Mareike was jealous that her brother was younger than her and had already naturally developed a talent that had nothing to do with what kind of spawn he was. The feathers on her wings fluffed up automatically at the thought.
" I took him to meet the pride demon" all three of the wrath girl''s eyes rolled at that, not that it was visible to the other girl "I know it's part of who he is but seriously I have never met anyone more irritating, seemingly harmless but annoying."

Ebby snorted, "I like Enki. He's very nice." she commented, moving her hands to work a few kinks out of Mare's wings. "He's a bit hard for some people to handle but he's generally very good natured and friendly. Like a really big kitty cat."
"Anyway, it's better than spending time with J'her. If I never have to go near that door again in my life, I'll be happy."

"J'her is an uncaring murderer" Mareike agreed. "But she is still less irritating than him." At least for her anyways, though possibly more dangerous. " What did J'her do to upset you?" there was curiously mixed with agitation in her voice now. Full blooded demon or not Mareike wasn't afraid to stand up to the pheromone using J'her if she had somehow hurt her friend.

"Oh nothing major. She was very insulting of Enki - who happens to be a very dear friend to me - and she was all around creepy in how she was talking to me." Ebby explained, "I wouldn't even go in the room with her so there was little else she could do."

The wrath girl just nodded. " I see," ah well they were allowed like and dislike different people. Besides her meeting with J'her had been someone what intimate and she had no problems admitting it still skewed her bias a little.

"Anyway, you can like her and not like him or whatever, it's just when it gets super insulting that it's a problem. She was saying some nasty things." Ebby grumbled, continuing to work the kinks out of her friend. "Lots of people have been having like don't like things with me lately. It seems Vinny got in a fight with Zuba over Adhara, and Vinny doesn't seem to like Adhi though I still have very little idea why. Though I haven't seen her since she had that baby from who knows when. Do you know?"

"Adhara is a rapist and a whore" Mareike ground out through suddenly clenched teeth her entire body once again tensed." i don't know the others you mentioned." Mareike had a limited pool of other spawn connections: Adriel, Mara, Pepper, Wynni,and a few who were less memorable but that she'd recognize if she saw them again. Of course as far as she was concerned she knew enough people already to get by and she'd rather not meet those entangled with Adhara.
