Oh yes. The flute is rather difficult. But the piccolo, sadly, is easier to break than play! The poor thing is getting fixed constantly!
Meirou nearly jumps at the sudden exclamation of memory!
W-What has overcome Sir Reiga all of a sudden? gonk ...Oh, the faaan!
Meirou muses over this for a little bit, then remembers, fist lightly hitting her palm. Oh right! "Because Sir Reiga's birthday is right before Meirou's!" She grins, also standing to her feet. Oh what a wonderful crazy-random-happen-stance!

Yes, wonderful crazy random happenstance is a good description of it. How amusing life can be sometimes.
With an elaborate flourish, the fan disappears into his robe. Coughing slightly, Reiga adjusts his hair and the fold of his clothes until he is satisfied that he is once again somewhat distinguished after his little...ah... outburst. He grins and continues the conversation much more subdued.
Ah, I would like to hear Lady Kanna play sometime. Does Miss Meirou play an instrument as well?

Meirou learned that wonderful phrase from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog! It's a show! On the internet!
The girl beamed happily, seeing that Reiga enjoyed his fan so much. At least she had chosen the perfect gift for her new friend!
Oh, Meirou doesn't play anything, really...Though she is quite sure she could get Reiga, and perhaps some of his friends, some free tickets to a concert! Kanna gets many to give out, anyway!

Truly? Reiga is honored. Free tickets would be wonderful, he must find a way to repay such lovely friends...
... ah, Miss Meirou, please do not think me stupid, but ... what is the internet? And who is this Dr. Horrible? He does not sound like a respected healer. confused

Oh yes! How many does Reiga need, if he has friends or family to go with? Meirou thinks the next concert is right before Christmas, a gaian holiday.
The internet...Ah, how to explain it....Well, it's sort of....Uh...It's accessable by computers, another great Gaian technology. And there's all sorts of information on it. And many, many people.
Dr. Horrible, on the other hand, is a fictional super-villain who tried to win his crush over by...well...reorganizing the government through evil ways. It was like a television show, but it was on the internet.

Three tickets would be sufficient, though perhaps four... would the music be appropriate for a very young child?
I have heard of these computers, but I was not aware they could access a whole other world. People live there? eek
Television at least I am familiar with. Only someone rather insane would think to reorganize the government in an attempt to win a loved one's affection. It sounds like a bizarre show.
Reiga still has much to learn. He really must get out of the house more often. rolleyes

Yes, yes! It is all instrumental and very very happy music! She is sure that the little one would enjoy it! So four tickets it is!
Oh, no. It's like...ah...talking on a phone! You can hear the person through it, but they don't live inside it. It's much like that, Meirou nods.
It is rather eccentric, she smiles, though it's amusing because they sing. One of the songs is about laundry of all things!
Oh, but sometimes being outside is a little bit crazy. Just wait a few weeks, Meirou assures him, and then he'll see the whole crazy world of Christmas Shopping.

Reiga smiles, nodding. He is looking forward to the concert, it has been quite some time since he has been to one. And this internet thing makes much more sense now, though he still has reservations about this Dr. Horrible show. confused
Christmas shopping - another Gaian holiday, the one he has been seeing advertisements for? Gaians certainly do seem to love buying things for... well, anyone they've ever met. What are the traditions of this 'Christmas'?
Besides buying items for people which will likely only be used once?

The concerts tend to be very nice and fancy, so Reiga may want to pull out some nicer robes for the occasion, she warns. Though it isn't as formal as some of the Gaian dances. She is sure that if they ask one of their Gaian friends, they could help! And of course. It is rather odd sounding at first, before watching it.
Yes, yes! The shopping is always fun, though it is frustrating for some. Things sell out quickly, and there are so many sales and good deals to be found! 'Christmas' is a Gaian holiday where people buy objects for those they love or care about. And there's this big fat man named 'Santa' who comes and gives gifts to little children when they sleep.
And sadly, some items are only used once. Though sometimes people get some that they use endlessly!

A chance to dress formally? This will be wonderful! Reiga beams. This concert keeps sounding better and better. Oh, what will I wear? The moment of panic is brushed away with a confident gesture. He is not without resources, everything will be grand.
Buying objects for loved ones is always a touching gesture - even better when they're on sale - but why does this Santa person give gifts to children? Does he hope to gain favor from the families somehow?

Oh, Meirou looks forward to hearing about this grand event! Reiga might be the grandest of all the guests! Indeed, she is sure he will be! He and his family will be the highlight of the entire group~! And if she is lucky enough, perhaps she will be able to get some back-stage passes!
Hmm...Santa rewards children who have been good all year. Children who are nice to their parents and do their chores and such will be rewarded by Santa with a gift or two! And the naughty children get coal, just as black as their record for the year, Meirou explains with a nod.

Reiga is flattered. He assumes a back-stage pass is something that gives access to the... well, back of the stage? To see things from the other side, as it were.
This Santa person is intriguing. How does he know which of the children have been naughty and which have been nice? Surely he cannot watch all of the children in the world at one time? That would be... mind boggling. confused

Yes, yes. After all, the back of the stage is where all the preformers go once they're done. So Reiga and his family would be able to meet them! And perhaps have refreshments?
Meirou isn't quite sure....But perhaps if a child is acting horribly, he will notice for sure. It is rather mind boggling, she agrees, nodding her head.

Refreshments and a chance to meet the performers. That seems like a wonderful time. Reiga muses to himself, mind drifting a little. Hopefully Chourou and Uki would enjoy it... Ako is too young to really understand the significance of such a thing, but would probably enjoy herself as long as Chourou was there...
He turns his attention back to the present, grinning at Miss Meirou. My thanks, he bows. Then quietly, almost as if he were embarrassed, he asks how in the world does one man give gifts to all the children - in one night?

It is a wonderful time indeed, Meirou nods. However, at hearing the name 'Chourou', she perks up a little bit. Why did that name sound so familiar?
Meirou smiles, waving it off. It is not a problem! But as for so many children...Well...Meirou supposes he's really fast....Or something.
