Yeesha I went to thchool today! I met Jekel, he'th a thark and he'th got a big tail like I do. I like hith tail. Today we learned ABC. A ith for Alligator, like me! B ith for bronze but I like B for bunny or butter. C ith for camel. There wath a camel kid in clath today. I like C for cat and crayon better. Today was interesting. Yeesha came back from class simply raving about Jekel.. although I do believe his real name is Simon. She seems to like him as a friend and goes on about his tail. She enjoyed sitting in my lap while I dictated her words into this journal. Yeesha is my beautiful little girl, a little grumpy sometimes, but never bitey. I'm greatful to D-Corp for allowing me her. - H.O.

Yeesha Today we learnt DEF and GHI. D ith for Dragon! I like it for daddy, too. Daddy told me I'm gonna get a dragon all my own. E ith for egg. I liked colouring the egg purple. F ith for fire. Daddy said some dragons thpit fire, I wanna thee that! G ith for gold. I like it for good and girl better. I'm a good girl! H ith for hawk. I don't like hawkth. They're mean. I like H for hot and happy better. I ith for igloo. Daddy said igloo'th are made out of ice, which ith a I word too! Another good day. After her class and after I made the finishing touches to my classroom I took her out to see the lake. She wanted to swim and when I told her no she asked me why not. I told her that the water was dirty and she needed a swimming suit to go in it. But really it's because I'm not sure if it's off limits for us and the children, from what I know it's actually meant for the aquatic dragons. Perhaps I should ask and see if the children might be allowed to swim in it someday, if not, I'll jus take her to the beach, I'm sure she'd love it. - H.O.

Yeesha Today we had ghrahm crackerth and red juice for thnack! And we learnt JKL and MNO! J ith for jello. I like jello, it'th all wiggly and thquithy. J ith for juice too! K ith for kangaroo. I like K for king better. Kingth get to tell everyone what to do. L ith for love. I drew daddy, 'cuz I love him! M ith for moon. I love the moon, it'th bright and pretty and it maketh different thapes. N ith for netht. Dragonth have nethtth! Tho do birdieth. And Alligatorth! O ith for octoputh. Daddy said some people eat octoputheth and like it. I think it would be icky because they are ugly. Very tired. An emergancy and I had to go tend to some injuries. It appears as though someone lost their temper... unfortunatly they also seem to be higher up, and breaking someone's arm goes excused. If I say anything they could take Yeesha away, so I just mend and heal and keep my mouth shut. - H.O.

Yeesha My green crayon broke yethterday. I don't like uthing the other colourth tho much but daddy wont buy me new oneth until I uthe thethe firtht. Today we did PQR and STU. P ith for penguin. They live in the ocean waaaaaaaaaay in the cold placeth. Q ith for quail. I like Q for queen better, cuz they are like kingth. R ith for road. I like R for red and ribbon better. S ith for thnake and thark. Ith hard for me to thay eth. Jekel ith a thark! A tiger thark. Tho is Jawth. Jekel ith gonna be Jawth thomeday an I'm gonna be the lake alligator and I'm going to get REALLY BIG. We'll be big together. T ith for turtle. Turtleth are green! U ith for up. I like it when daddy pickth me up! An uneventful day for me, but very interesting for Yeesha. She's getting better at swimming by the day, she also needs to learn to get some sort of sense of presence for that tail of her's. She nearly knocked me out with it during her bath. - H.O.

Yeesha I'm gonna thay the night at Jekel'th houthe again tomorrow! I get to bring my thuff to thcool! We did VWX and YZ today and there are no more letterth in the alphabet! V ith for vixen. Daddy thaid that a vixen ith a girl fox. W ith for water. I love to thwim in the water! Water ith my favourite thing in all the world! I with I could breathe in it like Jekel. X ith for Labtech X. Daddy won't tell me about him. He wath kinda mad at teacher for having him for a letter. I think xeenifieo thould be the X word cuz I made it up. Y ith for yak. Yakth are funny looking and hairy! Z ith for zebra. I thaw an alligator on TV grab a zebra and pull it in the water and thpin it around. I wanna try it. I like Z for zoo better. Yeesha is going to spend the night at Bree and Jekel's place again tomorrow. Last time she didn't do so well, hopefully she'll make it through the night this time. There isn't much for me to do during the days while Yeesha is in class. The most I can do currently is see about making sure everyone is healthy and well taken care of. Still... I wish I could teach freash minds. - H.O.

Yeesha I wath tho mad today. I didn't wanna go to thcool even if Jekel wath there too. I didn't wanna get out of bed. I wath tired. We learned numberth today, though.. that wath fun. I count on my fingerth one, two, three, four, five on one hand and thix, theven, eight, nine, ten on the other! I have ten toes too. I have one tail. I have two eyeth. I have one nothe. I have one mouth. I have a gazillion scales and a bajillion teeth. I don't like bruthing them. I'm so proud of Yeesha. Even though she was having one of her famouse bad mornings she stuck through it and ended up having a good day at school. They learnt numbers and she's been counting everything she can reach. She counted the numbers on the clock and I taught her 11 and 12 as well. I wonder if Kat will teach them time? It'd be a sad thing... once they learn about time they'll never have enough of it and will be like all of us adults in no time. Always stay young, my Yeesha. - H.O.

A child is expected to know certian things at certian ages. In order to obtain rights to their Dragon(egg), they must prove they can meet these requirements. The following sheet is for your child to fill out, with mild help from their guardian, then sent back to D-corp. (PM ot the mule) Also any changes, even minor such as haircuts, should be reported to the D-corp to be logged and filed.

Where do I start...
...Yeesha.. my little swamp light. No.. not anymore.
She had contracted -something-... it was distressing, possibly more to myself than to her. A disease which caused the flesh and sclaes to rot and putrify. At first I thought it was something small and simple, scale rot, it hadn't hit too hard. I had kept her inside and away from the other children and more specifically the dragons initially. When it seemed to be clearing up again I tentativly let her out again.
It was a mistake, though.. she must have come in contact with -something- that aggrivated it further and she became sicker. I moved us away, for the protection of others... for her protection. I began to fear it might be leprosy...
...I am far from a good father. I took my daughter away from her friends.. away from all contact. It hurts even more that I start to doubt that it was the best choice. She has grown... I tought her the best that I could, with books and my own knowledge. She likely has incredible gaps.
But she is getting well again. I know by now I've been quietly fired from my position in the D-Corp, I am greatful to the Boss for not sending any to come take Yeesha away from me.. I don't know what I would do or where I would be without her.
It is my hope that there will still be others there for her...
And... Bree... well, perhaps that wasn't really anything but a fling. Still, it's a nice memory to go back to.
