Name:Lashantha Al'Carne
Age: 564
Appeared Age: Mid twenties
Gender: Female
Race: Drow
Personality: Lashantha likes to keep her emotions distant when it comes to students and teaching, as well as when it comes to fighting. She has a crude sense of humor, as well as a very strict set of rules and beliefs.
Appearance: Standing at about 5'8", weighing a normal 150lb, Zani has almost black skin, a strong contrast to her snowy white hair. Her hair is cut short with her bangs a bit longer than the rest. The most exquisite part of her would have to be her eyes, which were the black of a starless night, sky blue specks flecking it as she had no pupils. Deep red tattoos are made on her tanned face, marking her clan as well as her position in that clan. Her pleasant form is most alluring, though shedoes not seem to realise it herself. A knowledge in her eyes shines through the blackness, giving her the giving her the face of a young woman, but her eyes looking older than their years. Her face is somewhat stoney, but those full lips can curve at the corners in a grin or a smirk whenever something amuses her. She wears the simple clothes of a warrior, such as a tunic and pants with simple boots. Though it is rumored that she has been seen in a dress before.
Weapons:Keeping to her more primative weapons, Zaniah's blade, which she has named Shan'naal, is a large, two handed blade that looks like a three foot cutlass with a notch near the tip. The hilt is wrapped with ordinary boar hide and the pommel is nothing but a polished stone. The blade however, is tinted red, and symbols are enscribed upon it, glowing a fierce crimson whenever she uses it. An ordinary leather sheath has the same symbols on the outside of it, though the sheath looks like it should belong to a broadsword. It's actually a pocket dimension of sorts, able to hold Lashantha's sword easily. The dagger she carries has a serpantine blade, also tinted to a blood red. The hilt on this is a little more ornate, being a pair of golden vipers winding up it and the heads sticking out to either side of the blade to form the cross-piece.
Element: Wind, Fire, Earth, Water
Powers: The drow has the power to control the elements, as well as use the weapons she carries with great skill.
Bio: Lashantha was the heir to her clans throne, the daughter of the Ill'haress and the weapons master of the clan Val'Sagress before a merchant decided he could get so very much for selling an exotic drow female as a slave. So he kidnapped her, and shut her up in a nailed box. It was many weeks before they finally surfaced in a cave in the deep mountains. Still in the confines of her box though, Lashantha could not see anything. The cracks had been smeared with tar and wrapped in chains to prevent her from getting out.
Though she could have easily blasted the box with a well placed fireball, she would have blown herself to smitherines in the process. They left the cave and began a trek through the mountains, but all Lashantha felt was a coldness and the bumps of the ride, she had no idea they were now on the dreaded surface world.
The caravan was miles from the cave when it chanced across a band of raiders. Thus they were attacked, and in his foolishness, the merchant decided to let Lashantha out to help defend them. As soon as Lashantha got out and was handed a weapon, she slaughtered the merchant and hide behind a cart, searching it's contents for a better weapon of sorts. Thats when she found it, a large sword (Shan'naal) in it's magical sheath. Her sensitive drow fingers were able to feel the magic about the weapon, and claimed it for her own at once. Though it was night time, the sky both awed and horrified her. And it wasn't untill the sun rose that she truely became afraid. The sun stung her eyes and forced her to stay in a dark cave untill it had set again.
Then she ran, and slew any that got in her way as she ran from the fighting and into the deep mountains. She stayed in the mountains for a few years, then finally ventured out of the expanse of cold rock and into a rolling meadow. It was there that she began her wandering, a thick cloak with a deep hood keeping her herritage hidden whenever she went into a city.
She earned her way along in the cities as a hired Assassin and Thief, and it was durring one of these jobs that she came across her dagger. She had been robbing a fat lord of a few of his magical treasures when she found the dagger laying on a pedestal, it had no obvious magical enchantments other than there being no rust or scratches on the weapon. So she nabbed that on her way out and it came in use as a few guards noticed her while she ran. She threw it and hit the first, surprising the other long enough to slash his throut with her sword. Retrieving the dagger, she pocketed it and delivered the valubles she had been hired to steal.
Since then she has laid down her mask (which she donned when she did the deeds) and has come across the academy, where she resided for many years before making her way up as a teacher.
Other Notes: None for now.
