Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian listened as Roy gave a slightly more detailed explaination of what had happened to them, shuddering slightly at the thought of what would have happened had Roy not appeared to save her when he had. Carefully, Roy handed the paladin his Rune Sword, telling the lady knight to be careful. Ninian started a bit when Isadora called her 'Lady Ninian;' the dancer had never grown used to being addressed by title.
Hallucinations? she thought as Isadora told them of what had happened in Eyris while they had been away. Is that what happened to me? When I saw Eli--Eliwood? Surely that was not really my lord. Hallucinations would explain it. Then . . . am I going mad after all? The thought was not a comforting one. And Lady Isadora was right; Ninian and Roy really ought to go back to Eyris, seek out a healer, and rest, supposing they could avoid the chaos and not get themselves further injured.
And then--
WHAM.
Vaida had shoved her way by Lady Isadora, hitting the lord hard across his face and knocking him to the ground, landing on his injured left arm.
"Roy!" Ninian shouted as her son cried out in pain. She instinctively moved towards her fallen son, though he was able to stand on his own. She clutched his sleeve as he shouted at Vaida. "Roy, please," she said. She did not like the way he had limped back towards her, and really, where had he learned to curse like that? "It's alright. Let's just go." Yelling and further antagonizing the wyvern lord would do no one any good.
But Vaida and Lady Isadora had given Ninian another thing to think about. Who was this Razevi? If she was the one who had kidnapped Amara, why had she done this? But no matter what questions came to mind, Ninian would have to wait until everyone returned to Eyris, hopefully victorious, before they could be answered. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Ephraim stayed quiet and lingered in the back for the most part. He didn't really have much to say in the first place and just knowing there were more people calmed his mind just a little. The sudden whap to the face on Roy got him to cringe just a little. Probably because it sounded like a bone broke but in reality all it left was a bruise.
He'd speak up..if he didn't want to get skewered by Vaida..least..not for the time being. If he was going to pick a fight with her it would probably be elsewhere..but not anytime soon...hopefully.
Ephraim froze in his tracks one Isadora started to talk about what has been going on in Eyris. Hallucination? Was...was that what has been happening to him? Was he already losing his mind without realizing it? He was still sane..that much Ephraim knew..but how would that explain seeing Lyon..? Twice for that matter. He didn't want to believe he was going crazy..not now at least..if he started acting on his own then would he officially announce himself crazy. He wasn't going to think about it..not when the situation was like this. This was something Ephraim didn't want to think about.
The other thing that caught his attention was probably the talk of Razevi. Oh he remembered her.. breaking his spear..trying to kill him....Oh man, who wouldn't remember her after that experience..or anything involving her for that matter. He shuddered at the thought and quickly kept up with the group.

Rei groaned. He groaned a loud, irritated groan. For the longest time, he'd been calmly nestled in the confines of a wagon, reading a wonderful little book. He'd been reading for so long that he'd forgotten the title! Rei peered around at the cover, and smiled as the thought returned to mind. Archaic Branches of Arcane and/or Eldritch and/or Elder and/or Dark Magic for Dummies: By Bramimond. Yeeeeep, not exactly the most formal of titles, but this particular work was great. Sure, it was written recently, which means about 200 years ago, but it still held valuable knowledge based on the discoveries and advancements prior.
Rei was blissfully engrossed in the text, reading into methods by which one can further improve the peak of their magical skill, and then...
Scream, scream, shout, shout, whine, whine whine. His group seemed to have met up with the others and... oh, joy! Vaida was arguing with someone! It'd been hours since she was barking that loud, and now she's at it again! Rei couldn't very well get any reading done now, sadly. Or for a time after that. Terrible, it was. Whoever angered the battle mistress wouldn't be on good terms with him for a long time, to be certain!
In a huff, Rei hopped from the now stationary wagon and walked around it, a sigh escaping his lips as he saw the gaggle of wounded warriors. And... ouch, Vaida went and punched one of them in the face! And she swooped down from the sky! Oooh, whoever she got pissed off by must have been quite the-
"You should be thankful, blah blah blah! We killed some bandits, blah blah blah! You have no authority, blah blah blah! Baww, baww, bawww!"
Rei would have put a tad more effort into listening to the kid, but his voice may have cracked a few times, so that's not exactly something to attract the Druid's ears. So, Rei was pissed at Roy, the harbinger of raucous commotion, the current antagonizing force of Vaida's temper. But then, something dawned on him. He smiled, and swaggered his way into the center of the mass of people. With a chuckle, he began to shout, being sure that all around would hear him.
"Okay, everyone, shut it! By the looks of it, I'm one of the only, if not the only, healers in this group right now!" If he weren't the only one, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that he was the most qualified one, though. Any members of the Castle Guard with staff proficiency would surely not be as magically adept as he. "So! All of the heavily wounded soldiers, aside from that one..." Rei pointed towards Roy, the writhing heap on the ground, and continued."...please make your way to me!" With a wave of a hand towards a generic Guardsman, Rei was tossed another staff, this one a Heal staff. It was likely that he'd need both this and his own Mend, with the shape this group was in.
To start, he focused his Mend staff on the nearby Ninian. She wasn't able to fight, as far as he knew, so if she was injured, she'd likely be in the most shock. Once the soothing light washed over the Dancer, Rei placed a hand on her shoulder, an attempt at comforting her for the impending query. "...Ninian, I know you're hurt, but could you please dance for me? It would make this go much faster."

Abel walked beside Alihi, as they traveled back into the desert. He knew that this time, they would be okay. With all these people to help, even one of the crew, things would surely work out. He worried about the other people in the desert, though. They had been gone for a while, which meant they could have run into trouble. All Abel could hope is that they would find their way to safety, or to this battalion.
As they continued on he saw Alihi suddenly rush forward. "Huh?" He looked out to where she was running, and saw a group of people coming toward them. And he recognized who they were! It was the others! Abel smiled brightly, as he followed after Alihi. It was good to see her and her brother reunited. Now only one more person was missing from Alihi, and they would rescue her, soon.
After Alihi and her brother had their heartwarming moment, Abel decided he should say hello, as well. "Groooup huuuuug!"He cried, as he charged over and lunged at the twins, arms spread open wide. The next thing they knew, the three of them were on the soft sand. Injured or not, it wouldn't hurt too much to be knocked over into the sand. Abel laughed, and sat up. "Looks like we're all in this together, now." Deborah slunk forward, as the large group gradually came up to them, with warm welcoming. She kept her distance from Isadora, and the others, and tried to just keep telling herself that now everybody could be healed. Returning to Pentheus was now out of the question, but they would be safer traveling with a battalion anyway.
She regained her watch on Vaida's location, and saw the beast make her way over to Roy and punch him in the face. Well, at least her arrival wasn't going to be a total annoyance. She heard Roy call out to the Guard Commander, as the woman left him. Was this boy serious? He was speaking of situations that could not have been known. The only people that should be thankful were the ones at the bandit fort and him! They were lucky that bandit group wasn't one of the larger ones, or an international conspiracy could have erupted. Millions of bandits raging through Learania, killing and raping all in sight... versus a few being captured or killed. Yeah, it was obvious which would have been the better outcome. THAT is what Deborah risked. And Alihi in charge? Last time Deborah checked, Vaida and Isadora were here. Apparently he needed a lot more smacking around before he used his head. He must have lost all sense, when he left whatever world he came from.
Lost in her raging thoughts, Deborah hadn't noticed that when Vaida left Roy, she had made her way up to her. Oh great, this was just what she was trying to avoid. She had been through the world's most annoying day ever, and this was going to be the icing on the cake. Deborah clenched her fists hard, preparing to endure the anger that was sure to swell up inside her.
However, it didn't come. Deborah blinked, her face blank. Was Vaida really approving? She cared about the livelihood of everyone a lot more than she was letting on. Deborah folder her arms, and raised an eyebrow. "Tch! Gee, I didn't know ya cared." She saw Vaida stop and look back over, which was followed by a statement much more fitting from the woman. Deborah rolled her eyes, and made her way back to wherever she could get a healer to look at her; namely, Rei. "Yeah, yeah..." Of course she would be ready for when they got to the tower. And when they did, she would fulfill her mission for good, or die in the process.

He never was going to catch a break, was he? Ok, he had pushed his luck going on his own and forcing his group to go after him back into the desert. He could see why Vaida was pissed (he wasn't aware the Guard coming until now). He pushed it even further calling her out like that, and regretted his words the moment they were said. And now Rei...REI of all people...decided not to give him a hand and heal him all because he stopped the druid from his reading? Well, screw you too, shota-bookworm! He thought back about what Isadora had said about Eyris and the hallucinations. So when I saw Father back near the tower...that was a hallucination...I'm such an idiot. he thought to himself. And his jaw was aching from when he was hit by Vaida. He didn't realize it until now, since it was just pain upon pain upon pain, but perhaps it was fractured. Were these people all blind? How could they not see how injured he was? But no...they ignored it, and added insult to injury by inflicting MORE pain and REFUSING to help. He certainly made the right decision of choosing not to go to the tower. A good chunk of the people here didn't like him. That was certain. Vaida, he could understand. But Rei? Had they not travelled together to fight Idoun and Zephiel? They should have reached some understanding during that time! But no... Well, whatever. Roy nodded slowly to his mother's words. He would leave it alone. He would just let everything go. What would one less swordman be for this group? He was tired, he was injured. What good would he be for them? The young lord drew the SoS. He had kept it a secret in the past, but that was the past. He didn't have to hide it anymore. The weapon glowed, and a white flame emerged around the blade. Not the usual red flame, but a white one. He held it close to him, and he could feel the healing effects of the weapon's magic treat his wounds. Just enough to look decent and fix anything that would make the journey home more difficult. There was no more pain. Cuts and scrapes and minor fractures were healed. All other wounds were treated. Well, except the injured left shoulder and the old scar on his hand. The SoS now had one use left, and he wasn't going to let it go to waste. Perhaps putting the sword away for good was the best option. It had to make it back to Elibe, after all. Relying on strong weapons to win? He could understand that concept. What about other ones? Were they just used to build up enough weapon experience before they were cast aside? Roy sighed. Let them use their powerful and legendary weapons. He would focus on using regular ones, like a steel sword. After all, it was not the weapon that makes the person, but the person that makes a weapon. He would rely on his own power, not the power of a strong weapon. So...no more using the SoS, or any other powerful sword. He would keep the Flame sword, but he decided not to use anything above a B rank. Since he had healed himself, and Rei had just healed Ninian, there was no need to linger around here much longer. They should go, once the others had been healed. ((Before you start accusing me that the SoS can't heal, I suggest you watch this.))

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian frowned slightly at the druid's words. Yes, Roy was out of line yelling at Vaida, but was it really fair to refuse to heal him just because of that? The dancer sighed as Rei healed her, the lighter wounds disappearing instantly, and the gash on her forehead taking slightly longer before the bleeding stopped, the wound scabbing over, and disappearing completely. Gingerly, Ninian reached up to retie the bandages more securely around her eye, hoping the wound would not scar too badly. It was probably still too soon for her to try opening her eye, and she would probably be disoriented for a while when it was time, what with getting used to depth perception again. The healers in Eyris would need to look at it as soon as they returned.
"...Ninian, I know you're hurt, but could you please dance for me? It would make this go much faster," the druid asked, resting a hand on her shoulder.
She sighed again, mentally taking inventory of herself. Legs--shaky, but she could probably walk without support now. Arms--healed, all cuts and scrapes gone, hands shaking a little out of nerves. Head--no longer bleeding; hopefully the sand was out of her wound before Rei had healed her. She certainly felt a lot better after the healing that she had only moments ago.
"I can try, Rei," she said softly. She reached into her pack, pulling out her scarf. Though Briseschal was now safely stored in the pack, she was most comfortable with her scarf, and this would be the first time she had danced since June. Hopefully, it would be easier with a familiar scarf.
Carefully, Ninian stepped back, making sure she had enough space. In movements learned a millennium ago and honed with the practice that came with dancing fairly often for an entire army. Just as she was about to start the first step, a strange power welled up from somewhere behind her. She froze, whirling to see what it was. She had felt a power similar to this before, just before she had been killed.
Panicking, Ninian breathed a sigh of relief when she realized that it was only Roy healing himself with his sword somehow. Taking a deep breathe to calm herself, Ninian began to dance.
It was strange to be dancing again. Images of trees falling, a scarf slicing clean through them popped into her head. For a moment, she imaging sending her scarf around the druid's neck. . . .
But then her free hand caught the scarf and the dancer was bowing, shimmering lights floating around Rei.
What was that? she wondered, adjusting herself to be ready to dance for Rei again, should the druid ask.
She turned towards Roy. Now that she was healed, and Roy was too, to a certain extent, a thought struck her. "Roy, shall we go with them to rescue Amara after all? I'm alright, if that is what worries you. And I promise I will not fight or place myself in unnecessary danger, alright?"
Really, Ninian wanted to help save Amara if she could. Her injuries were the only reason she had decided to return to Eyris. But now, their was no need. Even if Roy chose to return to Eyris, the dancer would go with Alihi. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

It was dark. Too dark to see. How could a mere spy like himself see in the dark? One minute, the day was a bright as the sun (He was in the desert. There were no trees or clouds to block the sun.) The next, it was becoming darker and later on, it became night time within a hour. When did that ever happen? It was a good thing he had brought a torch or else he would be wondering in the dark. Who knew what would happen if he tripped over a pile of bones in the desert.
The spy began to wonder what was going on. Could it be part of the plague that he had heard from his fellow members? Was he hallucinating? Was this darkness his hallucination?
The spy slapped himself across the face hard couple times. He looked around. No, it was still dark. Maybe he wasn't hallucinating. However, he had a major headache from slapping himself.
In addition, he was really thirsty. All this traveling across the desert was making him thirsty. He knew that it was his job to find the tower, but damnit, the desert was hot.
As he was traveling, he suddenly noticed something. The spy found out that he was not sweating, but getting goosebumps. The temperature of the desert had become colder. This was getting strange. The spy slapped himself again. Nope. He was not hallucinating. Maybe he need to report it to the baroness once he was done searching for the tower.
The spy continued walk across the dunes, searching for the tower. It was then that he saw an oddly shape in the distance ahead of him. He wondered what it was. The spy traveled further to the odd silhouette before him.
After ten minutes of walking, the spy gasped in surprise. Before him was a spire. He didn't remember seeing a spire in the desert. He had been in Sentria for fifteen years and knew the entire country on the back of his hand. Where did that spire come from? The spy then wondered. Could it be? Was the spire the one that they were to look for? Well, it could be since strange things happened like the sky and the temperature.
Before the spy could confirm it, he heard a low growl from behind him. Wondering what it was, the spy turned around and saw a beast nearby him, growling. Whether the beast was mad or hungry, the spy didn't know. He was too busy screaming and running away from the beast chasing after him. However, what he did know was that he had now fully confirmed that it was the one that they were to look for and he had to report it to the baroness... That was if he ever managed to escape from the beast chasing him.

Rei smiled as he watched Ninian's dance. It was much better than anything he'd seen prior to coming to Learania, for sure. He'd have to get her and Nils to perform a duet, one of these days. As he watched the sparkles hover around him, Rei grabbed the Heal Staff, watching the gem shimmer in the light. --- To cut things short and save Ninian and I from making a week or so worth of posts, we're just gonna say that Rei healed everyone as Ninian kept dancing, the pair moving around the group. And then, everyone was healed, and the Heal Staff broke. Oh well, it wasn't Rei's, anyway. --- Rei sighed, falling down into a sit on the soft sand. Scampering about like that was rather tiring, it was. From here, he simply sat, waiting for the order to move out. The more time he had to relax, the better shape he would be in.

Movinglently behind the group, Ziaram reflected back to his encounter with that black dragon...why hadn't anyone seen it? It was in the room, taking up almost everything...surely someone saw it? Yet...no one put any action towards it...it felt so familiar to him, yet...he could not remember all the way...whatever right now there were bigger things at stake here...rescuing the small girl Amara was a necessity.

"Roy, shall we go with them to rescue Amara after all? I'm alright, if that is what worries you. And I promise I will not fight or place myself in unnecessary danger, alright?"
Roy glanced over at his mother. So the only reason she wanted to go back to Eyris was because she was injured? His sword didn't have the same healing capacity as a Heal staff. Sure, it could treat injuries as far up to a fracture. But when it damaged the bone itself, like with his shoulder injury that left his left arm useless, his sword's magic couldn't fix that. That had to be repaired on its own. Since Rei already made it clear that he wasn't going to heal him and the Heal staff broke...
"Sorry, Mother. But I'm not going. I'm tired from all of the fighting today, amongst other things." he said, shaking his head. "If you're serious about going...then all I can do is pray for your safety."
In the dimming light, he noticed another familiar figure. There was no mistaking that hair and face.
"Uncle FD! I'm leaving you in charge of watching over Mother!" he called out to the dragon.
The young lord then walked over to Ninian and gave her a hug. After a few moments, he let go and took a step back.
"Tell Alihi I'm sorry for coming all this way only to back out when we're about to go save Amara. And...give this to Akihi." He pulled the Bolganone tome out of his bag and gave it to her. He had a somber look in his eyes when he looked up at his mother. "Take care, Mother." The young lord took a few steps back, his head lowered so that his eyes were hidden. "And...good-bye, for now..." he mumbled, barely audible.
He then turned around before he began walking away from the rest of the group. He wasn't in any condition to fight, and he was just tired of all the fighting. Those that were with him earlier should be exhausted from all the fighting they've done today. So why were they pushing themselves into going with this group?
((Pulling out of the event. Have fun. :3 ))

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!" Marching. Marching. More marching. That was what they all did, for quite some time. Well, except for the two in the skies. But they were the ones everybody else was following.
Within the lines, volunteer healers from the palace assisted the Druid, Rei, with healing the newcomers. One of them tried to heal Roy, but before the healer could make his way over, the boy had vanished. If Vaida had known that Roy had left the group he was in.... again, she would have flown back, punched him once more, and tied him underneath Umbriel, so that he couldn't move. Seriously, going out into the desert, alone, with injuries, is the most irrational and stupid choice anybody could make. And Roy did it twice. Twice.
Well, annoyed projection of thoughts from the writer of this post aside, it seemed that the boy had been able to leave, without being stopped. Ignoring that plot hole that could have easily been avoided by the boy just coming along like a good little character, the battalion continued on, through the desert. Movement was slow, as they had wagons and a fair sized amount of people, but they made their way through, nonetheless. Surely, if Mihira were ever uncertain as to where they needed to go before, she could fly to the tower by heart, now, given this would be her third time going.
After a while of travel, giving the soldiers enough time to converse with one another, and possibly starting some support conversation possibilities, the battalion entered an area where it was suddenly darker, and the temperature started to chill. Vaida looked around, curiously. It was as if night had fallen, and yet the temperature had not dropped below freezing. And the feeling the place gave... as if trying to eat inside of somebody. Vaida looked over to Mihira, who nodded back and said that these characters meant they were in the right place. Vaida flew higher, and peered over the distant sand, to see a tall spire towering into the heavens.
Vaida flew back down, having seen all she needed to see, and flew around the battalion. "Look alive, look alive! We've arrived at our destination!" She whirled around and landed beside Isadora, and whoever was near her. "This is it. Shall we go inspect the area, or issue the order to charge in, and get what we came for?"

The paladin was still struggling traveled across the desert. If there was some method or an item to help her travel easily, she would have taken it before coming to the desert. However, now was not the time to complain about the slow movement. There were people that needed to be rescued.
While they were traveling to reach their destination, Isadora had looked back to make sure that the group didn't separate. She was surprised that Roy wasn't among the group. She was about to order the group to search for Roy, but Ninian had informed her that Roy had went back to Eyris, explaining that he was tired from the fighting. Although that reason was not rational enough to leave the group, the paladin had no choice but to dismiss the idea of getting him. They were too far from where they had left off and it was unknown how far they were to reach their destination. However, the paladin prayed that Roy had returned to Eyris safely.
As they traveled further, Isadora looked around the unknown area in search of danger. The only time she had ever went to the desert was the Nebata desert and that was only a small region of Elibe. Sentria, on the other hand, was a country. Much bigger than Nebata desert. That didn't satisfy the paladin's like to the desert. However, she was surprised that there was no sandstorm. Maybe the weather had changed while they were traveling. In addition, there was no sight of a group of bandits, despite that they were in their territory. Nevertheless, things were going quite well...
... That was until the lighting of the sky began to change. The paladin wondered when did day change into night so quickly. Before, it was still daytime. Not only that, but the temperature began to change too. The paladin had never experienced the desert during nighttime. However, she was having doubts of whether it was nighttime or not. Something was strange here. Something odd and danger. She couldn't place her finger what it could be. Whatever it was, the paladin prayed that she was not hallucinating like the citizens back in Eyris.
Just then, Isadora heard Vaida shouted as the Wyvern Lord began to descend. So they had arrived their destination? The paladin peered over the horizon, seeing how closed they were to the tower. Although it was hard for the paladin to see in the dark, she could see an odd shape forming in her eyes. It must be the tower that they were looking for.
She felt a breeze coming from the left. Isadora turned around to see Vaida landed beside her, asking for an order. The paladin looked back at the tower. Remembering the meeting conference back in Eyris about Razevi and the information given by Mihira of what had happened to her and the previous group when trying to rescue Amara, Isadora replied.
"It would be wise to inspect the area first, seeing how many monsters and enemies we will be facing against. However, due to the sky's atmosphere, I don't think we will be able to see how many are there. We can't charge in immediately. It will be reckless if we don't have a plan right away."
Isadora then turned to Alihi. The paladin was unsure if the Tactician was ready or not. Despite that her physical injuries were healed, the paladin was concerned about Alihi's emotions. Letting the emotions get the best would lead to disaster. However, Alihi was the tactician and they needed a plan immediately.
"Alihi, what do you think we should do?" Isadora asked. She then leaned forward toward the Tactician and whispered lowly so that no one but the Tactician could hear, especially from Vaida. "And might I suggest not to let your emotions get in the way. We don't want to jeopardize the mission if we let our hearts pour out. Remember, Amara and Blossom are counting on us."

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~"Sorry, Mother. But I'm not going. I'm tired from all of the fighting today, amongst other things," Roy said, shaking his head. "If you're serious about going . . . then all I can do is pray for your safety."
Ninian could understand that. From the looks of it, Roy had been physically hurt worse than she had, and no one had offered to heal him until the lord what already walking away. Roy called for FD, requesting that the fire dragon look after her.
When Roy hugged her, Ninian carefully wrapped her arms around her son, making sure not to hit hit left harm, resisting the urge to hold him tight. She did not want her son out of her sight, but . . . he was his own person, and he was more than capable of taking care of himself. Just because she had missed out on almost fifteen years of his life did not give her the right to boss him around now. Obviously, he had gotten along just fine without her.
Pulling away, Roy told her, "Tell Alihi I'm sorry for coming all this way only to back out when we're about to go save Amara. And . . . give this to Akihi." He pulled a tome from his bag, handing it to the dancer.
"I will," she nodded, clutching the book close to her chest.
"Take care, Mother," he said, turning to go. She thought she heard him say something else, but perhaps it was just the wind.
"Farewell, Roy," she said, a trace of sadness coloring her tone. Why did she have the feeling that Roy would not be waiting for her when she returned to Eyris?
She watched his back, waiting until she could not see him any longer before rushing to catch up to the others. She found Isadora, informing the paladin of Roy's decision, before seeking out Alihi. Once the tactician was informed, Ninian gave her the tome.
"I am not sure if your brother can use this, but Roy gave it to me to give to him," she told Alihi as she passed her the tome. Alihi, who knew everyone's abilities would know if Akihi could use the tome, and if he should in the battle to come.
Ninian fell back, walking alongside Sue for a bit, stretching her legs and conversing with the nomad.
Suddenly, the temperature dropped to a much more comfortable level for the half ice dragon. She shuddered as he body adjusted to the difference. Slowly, her head began to throb. In the distance, she thought she could see the outline of a tower.
That must be where Amara is, Ninian thought. Just hold on a little longer, Amara. We're coming! I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Ganon clambered over a rock, keeping low to the ground and moving swiftly on all fours beside Aruna. His claws gripped the rough stone as he curled against it, raising his head and flicking out his tongue in the air. The sight of the massive tower chilled him once more, and he wound his tail slowly around Aruna's back, not directly on her waist, but a little above it.
"This is it. This is where we met her last time." He moved around slowly, sitting on the rock, then raised his head to look up at the top. "She's dangerous... really powerful. Don't underestimate her, Razevi's really... she's on the Sage King's level, at least." Ganon was aware that FEF had witnessed Leander's power, and the comparison was a good and valid one-- Razevi and Leander, together, could likely have challenged Loki on their own had they lived during the same era.
"I recommend we send a small group in to find Blossom and Amara first while the rest distract Razevi, and get them to safety. Then we can fully engage her without risking those two."
He sighed, scratching at his ear, then leaned gently against Aruna. "Hon, are you sure you want to be here? I mean, I don't even know if you can fight, and I don't want you to get hurt. Maybe you should hang back and treat the wounded." He got up slowly, taking a few steps closer and digging his talons into the sand. They were built for climbing trees-- they tended to sink into the sand and get covered, which was annoying.
"... Hey, what's that?" He crouched suddenly, digging a bit in the sand to find what felt like some leathery thing on his foot. He stood with a green and brown leather-bound and sand-worn book in his claw.
"Huh," he said, opening it up and flipping through it. "I... have no idea what this says. Catch," he added, turning and tossing the book to Aruna. "Hang onto this, we'll find out what it is later."

Although quiet and lost in his own thoughts as the others argued about leaders and other trivial stuff that ended with Roy walking off Joshua chose to pipe up now after he had heard what Gannon said. "I'll go with the group to find Amara." He volunteered hand touching Audhulma's hilt. He looked up and saw the tower, whistling low in his throat as he did. "Big innit?" He asked the wyvern general who had landed near him and a paladin.
His eyes took in the tower as he walked and he shivered "This place is bad luck incarnate" he thought staring up at it. It reminded him of the tower of Valini... except it seemed bigger... but that was impossible... right? No way was it bigger. Nervously his hand went to his head reaching for his hat… but it wasn’t there he had lost it in the fight with the bandits he sighed and instead toyed with Jaren’s wooden sword. He hoped the little guy was alright he hadn’t come back with them and Joshua was worried.
Letting go of his apprehension for the coming battle as he remembered the peppy myrmidon and his cow-suit and his way of making a bad situation worse he smiled. "Hey maybe it's filled with monsters wanna flip on it? Hopefully we’ll get some good practice in…. oh your Vaida right? Suppose I should stick by you then." He asked the scarred women that he now recognized as Vaida... his superior officer he supposed even though he wasn’t officially in the guard yet.
