Azzo blinked, he wasn't really expecting Melody to volunteer so easily. "Sure." He said softly looking at her almost curiously.
Azzo paused, "Okay soo... well there's some basic stuff I go over when I first hypnotize someone. Mainly you know making sure you're not suicidal or manic killer, not that I'm saying you are but after that act last year I kind of have to make sure..."
He pondered, "Then of course you know, anything your unwilling to do your stress level will bring you out of the trance. Or if I think I need to I'll bring you out, it'll leave you disoriented sometimes... mainly if you're in another place than where you originally where because you won't remember going there...."
He seemed to think if there were anymore general rules, "Occasionally I do a kiss test, but I think it's better skipped since teachers seem to wonder around here. Even if you do snap out of it they're not quite keen on that being suggested."

Like she said, there was a first time for everything. That and since her encounter with Avalon she was trying to get out of her room more, maybe make a few more friends then just the two boys she spent time around every now and again.
"No, I'm not suicidal or a killer. I'm a pacifist and violence tends to make me ill, though that varies depending on the level of violence." Everything else would be fine, she was sure. "A... kiss test?"

Azzo nodded, "I see... still sometimes it's better safe than sorry, but I have no reason to disbelieve you."
He scratched the back of his head trying to figure out how to explain it. "Yeah... it's kind of weird sounding, but sometimes I'll pick someone I know most people wouldn't think of kissing and suggest them. It's basically a test of limitations and morals. Sometimes occasionally bad if you happen to like someone secretly but I try not to hit on those."
He swayed a little bit, "Though the rest of the normal run-through test/practice stuff unless for a 'puppet' act are simple things like touching your nose, reciting the alphabetic, walking. It's really just to see if any activities stress you out, but it's more like doing things in your sleep."

Watching him sway, she moved foreword a moment then paused and held the binder closer. "Sounds simple enough. Would you like to get started, or should we move inside?"

Azzo paused and nodded and chuckled, "Like I said there's no reason for me to disbelieve you Melody."
He shrugged, "Which would you be more comfortable with? Outside has a little more room to walk around than inside the school unless you're walking in straight lines, and if we keep to the grass it's well softer. Less people to run into too. Otherwise if you'd feel more.... comfortable sitting down we can do that too, common room or something."
"It's normally about how comfortable the one being hypnotized is."

"Which ever is easiest for you, Azzo," she replied with her ever present smile. "After all I'm doing this to help you instead of the other way around. So you get to pick, hm?"
In other words, she had no real preference.

Azzo looked at her, girls... they're always so not choosy, but if you choose the wrong one sometimes they get mad at you.... geeze... He grinned however, and nodded. "We'll stay out here then,"
He pulled his crystal from his sleeve "Soo... this is going ta sound pretty cheesy."
He swung the crystal back and forth in front of Melody's eyes, "You are getting sleepy, your eyelids are growing heavier by the minute..."

Honestly she just didn't care and there was no right answer at all. She didn't have to be a mind reader to catch his train of thought, most men thought along the same lines. She was assuming things, mentally of course, but that didn't entirely matter because the conversation hadn't been actually held. But back to the matter at hand.
Watching him pull the crystal from his shirt, she smiled and hid a small laugh. It was harder to do so when he actually spoke said cheesy line. "Yea, that does sound pretty cheesy."
Which was all she really got out as her brown eyes watching the crystal swing back and forth. She was curious as to how this would work, if it would do so at all, but eventually she felt the pull of her eyelids beginning to droop and drowsiness beginning to take control. And then, mid-contemplation of just how hypnotism worked and how it could affect her, she was asleep standing up.

As normal Azzo waved his hand across her face to see if there was any actual reaction of waking up. "Are you asleep?" He double checked, like always.
Of course if there was a nod he normally proceeded to the next question. "Now if you would Melody, I'd like to walk just a little ways, in the straightest line possible." If he wasn't careful it'd start to sound like a Field Sobriety Test.

She did, of course, nod in reply to his question. Not that she was aware of doing so. Oh the joys of hypnotism! Binder kept close to her chest, just as it had been before she fell under his spell, the blonde girl began to walk ahead as straight as she could. One foot in front of the other just as normal as if she were awake.

Azzo watched walking backwards near her to make sure she didn't trip. When he was happy he nodded, "Okay you can stop."
He felt like asking a few completely silly questions, he pondered where to start, "Do you believe in Santa?" He asked suddenly, to see the reaction he'd get from the sleeping Melody.

She stopped as she was told so, body swaying just slightly before she regained her balance. At his new question her eyebrows furrowed together slightly.

Azzo tilted his head, she didn't believe in Santa... huh.
He stood watching Melody, "What's you favorite holiday?" He looked around trying to think of something fun to do, maybe he'd see how she felt about Frankie, that normally snapped anyone out of anything.

Favourite holiday? "Christmas." She enjoyed the cold weather, the snow and dressing up in warm and wonderful fashions.
