"I... I..." Avvie didn't object to Lucas' advances at first. It was fine. Harmless. He was just observing her horrid physique.... Fairylike... He thought she was a fairy? She dressed up as a fairy for Halloween a few times. Fairies were cute and cuddly and spark....
DOABLE!
Avvie's hands shot to the boy's chest and pushed him away.
"Woah, woah, woah! HOLD THE PHONE!" Avvie whipped her orange t-shirt back over her head.
She did not have things a** backwards and this boy was flirting with her.... he wanted to get into her pants! Mom always warned her about men, maybe she was right. But, suddenly, Avvie was uncomfortable in three shirts, two had felt so right, now with the t-shirt on... She faltered with the orange shirt, half on, resting on her tiny bust.
"... You really think I look better with just the tank top?" Avvie's mind was defying her, she was being persuaded by some womanizing teenager.

-He braced for a slap, or maybe a bowl of food over the head when she reacted so suddenly, but a little shove was all he got, and her diving back into her clothing. Regretable, but seriously, not the worst response he'd ever gotten. As she hovered in that wavering uncertainty, he nodded, staying lounged back in his seat this time. His thumb lifting in the familar symbol of approval.- "Yep, I like the tank top better. You can actually see... well you."
"With all that other clothing on you look like you're hiding in a marshmallow. Which is fine I guess.. if that's what you're going for."
"But I think you are definately nicer to look at than a marshmallow"
-Glancing down at the feast she'd been wolfing down a moment before, he tapped the table lightly.- "If they got a chance to see you I bet some those dancers would be super jealous. They have to eat like mice just to keep small."

Avalon stopped fiddling with the t-shirt as Lucas spoke. She lifted it over her head and dropped it to the floor, where her purple knit landed during the commotion. She stood arms crossed protectively in front of her chest and gave a little half smirk to the boy in front of her.
"Marshmallows are cute." She stated, with a little giggle. "Especially those teeny, little, colorful ones!"
Then, Avvie peered at her half eaten feast. She plucked up the bowl of cold Ramen, grabbed her half eaten roll, and waltzed on tippy-toes, to the trash where she gave a small pirouette before tossing out the spoiled lunch.
"Can you imagine if I was a dancer?" Avvie laughed coming back towards Lucas. She cracked the can of V8 open and downed it in a near single gulp. Nope... Definitely not a dancer.

-A silent bell dinged in his head, adding to his real life "achievements" list, and he was proud. It could be read in his grin quite easily.
He reguarded her marshmallow comment with a mild shake of the head, offering a half laugh as she did her pretend dance across the floor, leaning procariously far in his chair.- "I can think of a lot more interesting things to do then prance around"
-Settling the chair back to the ground, Lucas shifted to get up, dwarfing the poor girl at his 6'1 stature.- "If you wanna hop by my room sometime, floor 1 room 18, I could show you what got me into this school. It's far more interesting than dancing."

"I am no dancer.... really." Avvie stated with a laugh. "No coordination with my feet. What-so-ever!"
She pulled a marker from the back pocket of her jeans and handed it over to Luc. Sadly, it was the only one she had on her, and was a sickening lemon yellow color. Avvie's least favorite of them all, she was very much a purple girl.
The marker had a tag on it. 'Hi! I am Avalon Renee, 2nd Floor, REN-47. Come visit me, friend~'
"If I go visit you. You will need to visit me!" Avvie dealt with an outstretched hand, peering happily up at Lucas. "Then you can see why I am here." She nodded and then cocked her head to the side, as was common for her, with a wild grin on her face.

-Seeee.. that there. THAT was why you put up with cute. An open invitation.
Taking the offered marker, he glanced at it curiously for a moment, before sliding it into his pocket with a devious grin.- "Couldn't keep me away if you tried Avalon."
"It's a date" -Patting his hand down on her shoulder briefly as he passed, he made his way towards the doors, lifting his hand in on more final greeting, his voice trailing in a soft muse.- "See you around cutie"

"Yeah, yeah!" Avalon waved manically, with both hands, at Lucas as he headed out to leave.
"I can't wait to show you my talent!" She cocked her head and put a thoughtful finger to her bottom lip. Avvie still did not know what one called a boy when they called you something sweet.
"Bye dude~" Rang through the cafe as Avvie reached down to retrieve her lost clothing. She pulled the waffle knit back on. She carried her t-shirt and sweater in her arms and followed out of the dining area shortly after Lucas. This less clothing thing was going to take some getting used to, but if she wanted to be normal...
