Clone Yami I am glad for the event cause I got richer but they should of just took the skin away for BOO and given us a better consolation prize. Being turned into a poorly made potato isn't what I had in mind. They should've turned the skin into a bowl of clam chowder, then? With only one pose, an "I Am" pose of a large bowl with the Overseer logo on the side.

I kinda like the potato skin. And the event was huge. Granted, there were some problems with execution, but at least they lampshaded the ending. TIM, I know you're mad, but your parody sig is pretty much exactly what the characters said. The writers know how we feel, folks. That's why the event was so big, and the prizes were so cool. To compensate for the weaksauce finale that they had to run. Think about it. If they made a big change right now, they'd run they risk of pissing off half of Gaia, which, honestly, is worse than only annoying all of us. And they ran a survey, guys. They're actually asking us what we like and don't like about "current events". They care, even though it doesn't seem like it sometimes. Anyway, that's why I see good things in Gaia's future.

Sure, it's a disappointment--but who cares? We had fun, didn't we? We had laughs and what what. I'd say, excluding the ending, this is the most fun I've had since Halloween 2006. Do me a favor, though, dear. Don't blatantly insult me. You're upset, I understand. But I'm every bit as much of a human being as you are, and what you wrote really hurt my feelings.

If the writers... the ones writing this thing... knew that it would piss us off, they should have written it differently. If they're NOT making fun of us, and they HAD to write it that way because of executive meddling... then my point remains. I don't care who was responsible for the terrible ending, whether it was the writers, the admin, Craig, or our fallen god Lanzer himself. The point is, me and a lot of other Gaians are pissed, and it should have been done differently. If they were too chickenshit to actually do an ending that changes things, they shouldn't have started an event that implied that things would change. They could easily have done another friendly forum war type thing. Or dozens of other events that don't end up failing miserably because they can't live up to the hype. As for the survey...
