I think it also depends on the environment the kid is exposed to, what's being reinforced regularly or not, moral values, social norms, or some other things like parent's pet peeves or local criminology haha. if you're catchin the shape of the cloud I'm floatin by on...

I think spanking isn't wrong to do in some situations. there is definitely a fine line to be followed. And spanking out of pure anger is wrong, a lot of people in this case do it with too much force since they are angry. Spanking to get a message across is okay

I think spankings are needed more in parenting, because children are out of control and that is a great discipline plan for both Parents and children. Beating is one thing no one should EVER go through. My biological father was put in jail for 26 years for beating my older brother when he was 3. It is ridiculous when an parent beats the child, so I'd say throw them in the electric chair!
