Sev, surprised by the quick punch, leaned back before raising his arms to parry the incoming fist. "Ready." He said with a light chuckle. He staggered a step back, still not used to the extra weight on his legs. "This really will take some time..." Sev said, smiling as he adjusted his feet and arms to a more defensive stance.

Matsuya smiled. "Good. If you can continue to parry incoming blows, you'll eventually find an opening in your enemy's stance. That's crucial in combat." Matsuya threw another punch at Sev, this time from the side. "Hurry!"

Sev nodded, not bothering to waist breath on an answer that would slow his reactions down. As the punch came toward him, Sev attempted to jump back and ended up falling over. Thankfully he was able to roll backwards and return to his feet quickly. "Nicked me." Sev said with a smile, tugging at his shirt.

Matsuya smiled. "A nick is better than a actaul wound." He loosened his wrist again. "You're getting better, I'm glad." Matsuya lunged at Sev and threw a punch straight at his chest.

Sev attempted to side-step the attack, slow and unatural with his movements. Sadly, he still managed to get hit in the shoulder before spinning to the ground. "Damn you gravity..." Sev muttered under his breath before struggling to his feet.

Matsuya smiled. "Gravity sucks, huh?" He threw a low kick at Sev's ankles. It would be the last blow before they moved on. Matsuya could see the kid was getting the hang of it.

Sev jumped up, and fell a lot quicker than he anticipated. The low kick swept his feet out from under him, causing Sev to fall once more to the ground. He coughed a bit before sitting up. "That was fun." Sev said with a laugh, getting back to his feet slowly.

Matsuya laughed a little. "We're just getting started. This is only the first stage of the technique." Matsuya lunged forward, but not at Sev. He knocked himself off balance and pivoted on one foot. His other foot made a low kicking motion. The momentum behind it made a slight sound in the air. Matsuya rebalanced himself and looked at Sev. "Well? You wanna try the Leaf Violent Wind [Konoha Reppuu]?"

"Leaf Violent Wind [Konoha Reppuu]... sounds fun." Sev said with a smile. He attempted to imitate the movements he had just witnessed, throwing his body forward while spinning on one foot. He reached out with his other leg, and just fell over himself. Sev rolled to a stop a few feet from where he was before.

Matsuya sat on the ground near Sev. "Try again, I'm sure you'll get it." Matsuya took an apple out of his equipment pouch and took a bite.

((sorry for not posting too much, still out of state x_x BUT i will be back home later tonight, so i'll be able to post daily at the least.))
Sev stood and tilted his head, cracking his neck with a loud popping sound. "Ahh... that's been bugging me." He took a few, quick, steps forward and spun downward. He twisted his body as he turned, shuffling his arms to spin him faster. Sev flared his arms while extending his leg to kick, which snapped out quickly. The leg swept just above the ground all around him. He retracted his leg, using it to stop his rotation as well as balance him as he stood up. For a moment Sev lost balance and fell forward, but he used his arms to catch him. Which left him in a crouched position. "Could be better, but I could at least use this position to launch another attack" He told himself as he stood slowly, but he knew the momentary loss of balance could easily be used against him.

Matsuya smirked. "Good. And you're right, you can use the attack to make an opening. It's complicated, but it works." Matsuya stood up and looked at Sev. "Now we move on." Matsuya took out a scroll from his jacket. "Basic Fuuton Jutsu. We need you to learn two of them." He opened the scroll and looked at it. "Lets start with the 'Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill)', that sounds handy." Matsuya slamed his foot into the ground and made a small pillar of stone. He placed an apple on top of it. "Slice the stem of this apple of; the stem only. Use the jutsu to make the kunai go where you want it."

Sev nodded. "Yadama Furooseigyo, huh? This could help a lot in the future." He said as he pulled out a kunai. "Just have to slice the stem? Shouldn't be too bad." Sev said as he took a step back so he could throw the kunai better.

Chakra flowed into the kunai with ease, not too much since Sev was already tired. With a flick of his wrist, he threw the kunai at the apple. The kunai flew through the air quickly, Sev concentrated on the kunai and aimed for the stem. The kunai skimmed just over the top of the apple, missing by an inch at most.

"Tch, close..." Sev said, as he pulled out another kunai and once more poured his chakra into it. He focused his eyes on the stem once more, and threw the kunai. A moment later the apple twitched, as the stem was separated from the rest of it. "How's that Hokage-sama?" Sev said with a smile and a sigh.

Matsuya smiled. "That was good, very good." Matsuya read over the scroll for a second. "Ok. Now try the Kaze Bunshin (Wind Clone). A clone is always a good tactic on the battlefield. They're easy to make and will confuse your opponent in some situations." Matsuya smiled and looked up at Sev, waiting.

Sev shook his arms and shoulders to help loosen himself up. "Alright..." He slapped his hands together just below his chin. "Kaze Bunshin no jutsu." He said as he focused his chakra into the air infront of him.
