I wish I knew anything about Sketchup. I need to learn.

it's easy. just download it and start playing around.

I can sketchup my room if you're really curious.

you can probably get away with a 6"-7" speaker with some acoustic treatment in there, 5 or 6 without.

London Eyes

You are a nut and I love you. You need to pick me out some monitors and a sub.

the old yamaha NS10's are pretty cheap now. You'll need a power amp for them though. If you can mix on a pair of NS10's and make it sound good, chances are it will sound good on anything.

Well, I'm moving next year, so acoustic treatment is out of the question. Name some good 5-6 inchers that I can get my hands on.

Also, I'm listening to Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust, and it feels really good.

americanmusical.com was blowing out the KRK rockets. I'm not sure if there are any left though.

i got a good deal on a new hp 20" monitor today. FREEEEEEE. It fits perfect on top of my rack. I was a little worried since I had a 19" before and I would often have to squint a little. the built-in speakers sound weird. usually these built-ins are all mids and highs. mine don't appear to have much of the highs present. not that it really bothers me. I just thought it was odd. it makes everything sound like a ringtone...
