Her History:

Origin: The Imperial City

She was born an only child in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City where she spent most of her life. Her parents met and fell in love as students at the Arcane University, eventually securing successful jobs there. They took their time and eventually married, waiting longer than most other elves to have a child. When they finally did have her, she was born into a wealthy home and never went without. As an only child she was showered with love and gifts from her parents. She couldn't imagine a happier family.

Unfortunately good things don't usually last and her perfect life was no exception. When she was nine her mother died of a rare disease that no potion or spell could cure. It was a difficult blow to their ideal family and sadly her father fell into a deep depression, throwing himself into his work. She went from being daddy's little girl to a shadow on his work study wall. It did not take long for her to stop asking him to play with her or request they spend time together.

It was at this time that she began to explore the world around her, sneaking out to play with other children of lessor stature. They played games of fantasy and make believe as children do, and she used this as a way to escape the reality of what her life had become. Two years passed like this until one day her father came home, happy. Happy of all things! He suddenly seemed like the father he'd once been and he promised things were going to change. The following day they spent the entire day together and it was just like before her mother had died. She was so happy to have things they way they once were.

Her father promised he had a big surprise for the evening and when it arrived, that was when EVERYTHING changed.

Her name was Valaa' Rylah. She was to be his new wife. Her new mom. In that moment her father presented this woman, this stranger, her entire world seemed to darken. She actually felt her heart breaking into pieces, and with fury she barely managed to keep the tears from spilling down her cheeks. Her father's words were muffled; she had stopped listening and could only hear the pounding of her heart in her ears. Slowly she shook her head. This woman would never be her mother.

A year passed and she turned twelve. She began the study of magic in her father's footsteps excelling in the schools of Destruction, Mysticism and especially Illusion and Alchemy. It had taken some time, but her relationship with her father was eventually partially restored. She was again daddy's little girl, something she seemed to sense her step mother disapproved of. She and her step mother never talked more than required polite necessities in front of her father; they didn't need to see each other often, as she was busy with studies and Valaa' had her own jewelry store to run in the Market District.

When she turned fourteen her father's hard work had eventually paid off and he stepped up to accept a position on the Council of the Magi at the Arcane University. Her father held a strong position against Necromancy and was not afraid to be vocal about his thoughts and active in his work against it. Though many applauded his zeal, he also developed several enemies and though none were outspoken, they waited and plotted his demise.

Occasionally her father would make trips to the various Mage's Guild in Tamriel and allow his daughter to accompany him. It was on one such day that they were traveling to the Mage's Guild in Skingrad and a group of Necromancers ambushed them at dusk. Unbeknownst to them, someone high up at the Arcane University had their own dark agenda and that included eliminating a certain zealot from the Council.

Before she'd had a chance to help her father she was struck immediately by a paralyze spell that held her helplessly in its vice. Her father gave them a good fight but he was outnumbered, and with horror she watched the Necromancers murder him. The paralysis quickly wore off and rage clouded her thoughts as she picked up her father's shortsword and rushed at the closest hooded figure. Suddenly and unexpectedly there was a white flash of sharp pain, and then nothing but blackness.

A passing merchant found her the next morning, lying on the road near death, and took her to Skingrad where he healed her. He'd also picked up the dead body of her father and brought it along for a proper burial, having recognized the seal of the Arch Magi on his cloak. She returned to the Imperial City with her father's body and a burial was held in his honor. She and her step mother never talked about what happend, though others questioned her about what had transpired that day.

Her home became simply a place where she ate and slept, all her spare time focused furiously into arcane studies, as well as other various training she thought would come in handy when she finally extracted revenge against her father's killers. She began visiting the slums of the Imperial City in disguise, making friends with and learning skills from questionable folks. She learned to be quiet, to sneak, to open locks, to fight with a sword, to fight with a dagger in each hand, to throw daggers, and to use various magic to her advantage. At the same time she kept up the pretense of being a proper Arcane student, focusing in the areas that would help her the most. Illusion, Mysticism, Destruction and Alchemy. A potion for every possible circumstance. That was her unspoken motto.

This continued until she was twenty-one. It took her seven years of hard work and research to finally track down the group of necromancers who killed her father. She took a small leave of absence from the University and infiltrated the group of Necromancers pretending to be just like them, and a new recruit. It took another year of living with them to move up in their ranks and earn their trust. When the time was right she took her revenge, methodically and stealthily killing every single one of them. They never saw it coming.

She returned to her studies at the University and without surprise found that her step mother had disowned her and kicked her out. It was shortly after she returned that she was visited by a stranger in the night. He spoke to her of something called the Dark Brotherhood. She joined them, a secret society, and began on her path as an assassin.

And so she lives, wearing a different mask in two different worlds, picking up the occasional job here and there to support her living.

Guild Affiliation(s): Fighters Guild - Associate.

Character Armor: Steel Armor - No helm or shield.

Character Weapon(s): A Iron Claymore strapped to her back. A Iron Dagger fitted to her waist belt.

Character Bio: She was born Twenty six years ago in the quiet slums of the Imperial city. On the event of her coming into the world a rare comet passed over the skies and painted the night with falling debris. It was a beautiful sight and her parents decided to name their equally beautiful daughter, Celestine, because it was as if the stars themselves had sent her to them. Her parents were not entirely unfortunate people despite the location of her birth and the majority of her childhood. They were thieves, a Rogue and a Bard that worked for the notorious Thieves Guild. The forever changing locations in the slums made them all that harder to find by the guards, thus her early childhood remained mostly uneventful.

At the understanding age of seven they began to prepare Celestine to follow in their footsteps. However it was only their magical skill of Illusion they both favored, which mildly enthused her. Celestine was not all that interested in learning how to picklocks or perform perfect wall volts. They also trained her in Speechcraft. This skill was more enthralling to her because she liked it's usefulness. It was expected of younglings born into the thieves world to test their training on the citizens. Taking bread from stalls, snatching a shiny copper from passing citizen or delinquently working together to perform these simple but educational tasks. This is what young thieves were supposed to do; naturally Celestine did not. She used her angelic looks and sharp tongue to win over the merchants and the citizens to the point they gave her little gifts. Bread, copper and even more expensive objects if she was lucky. Once she was given a cut off of fine silk and she used it to tie up her hair.

Two years later, things did not change much. Her parents increased the complexity of her daily "tasks" but still she was able to complete them without having to actually steal anything. At least not herself, she even began slick wording the other children into taking things for her while she performed the "lost child" or a cute little performance to distract the adults. So she was trained to fight instead. The idea was the excitement of learning to wield a weapon would make her more focused on her other skills. It did not. She was solely focused on the Blade from the moment one was put into her hand. She never parted with the small iron weapon if she could help it. Only when she was acquiring items did she ever leave it behind in the dusty hiding place under the floorboards; guards asked questions when a nine year old walked around with a iron shortsword.

In her teens she was more included in the guild's activities. She was still only a initiate, she would need to prove her worth before she could take a rank in the guild, but she was finding that difficult. She was only useful when they needed a extra hand to fight off attackers. In the short years from child to adolescent she had learned a great deal in hand to hand combat. She loved combat training but the blade was still her preferred choice. However the Thieves Guild were against murder and using fists in a fight reduced the risk of "accidents". As she progressed into adulthood she started to feel more isolated from the other members of the guild. She was included far less, she wasn't the only one with combats skills and the others with such skills possessed skills she did not. She was obsolete and she did not like that; it was boring. Not only that but she seemed to progress backwards, taking on the role of the distracter again. She had grown into a very curvy and desirable woman, so she was forced to "date" snobbish nobles while her peers robbed their houses. A very disappointing date indeed, she would reward them with no more than a chivalrous peck on the cheek and then they would return home to find themselves missing a great deal of their wealth. She didn't enjoy those evenings in the slightest, the attention she got from men annoyed her, it was nothing like the innocent attention she got as a child. There were fewer gifts as well.

At the age of Twenty, Celestine had truly had enough with her life, especially her involvement with the Thieves Guild. She was still an initiate but all those who she could have called friends had progressed above her. She was alone but not entirely without hope. She desired to leave and join the Fighters Guild, their love of combat called to her. Unfortunately it wasn't so simple to just walk out of the Thieves Guild. Defecting made you a liability and you couldn't be trusted. Not only that but once she joined the Fighters Guild she would not be able to keep her past a secret forever. She knew from experience that things tended to come back and bite you on the backside eventually. So she decided to face up the consequences of her past, she allowed herself to be caught and was imprisoned for six months. During this time her twenty first birthday came and went without a celebration. More importantly she never risked the security of her former colleagues, she would be an ex patriot not a traitor. Either the thieves saw her silence as proof she would not be a liability or the fact she had no real ties to the guild meant that she phased from their memory in just six months. Either way she was not pursued and she moved on. Celestine had predicted right that joining the Fighters Guild would be no easy task now that she had a criminal record, but she was still certain that she had done the right thing. Better to be honest than be punished later on. She steeled that thought and eventually convinced the leader of the Bravil Fighters Guild to give her a chance.

As an initiate she was tasked with gruelling training and plenty of undesirable tasks such as clearing Mudcrabs out of the aqueducts. One particular task that often handed to her was the assistance/protection of the local mages guild's alchemist, as he went about restocking the guild's ingredients from the local countryside. This was a task that was boring, tedious and generally uneventful, save for a few wolves and rats. However after being stuck with this duty many times over the alchemist started to teach her about alchemy, this was mostly just to ensure she knew how to correctly carry his specimens without damaging them. Celestine however saw the usefulness of it and borrowed a book to help her practise more, you never know when you might need a healing elixir. In all she never complained about the tasks given to her and she pushed herself harder than the others hoping to make a good impression. She enjoyed life in the Fighters Guild even if after a while it became obvious to her that she was being held back from a real position in the guild. Others were promoted to Associate for far less effort than she spent. However she refused to let her disappointment to show and continued to work determinedly. Fortunately she was not the only one who seemed to remain a initiate. Jelit'Thur, which she shortened to Jet, was a young Khajiit who was only kept around because no one could repair the delicate links of mithril chain as fast as he could. But he also scared easily, he had joined the Fighters Guild to try and find his courage. She was thankful for his friendship, it made it easier watching the others come and surpass her knowing she had a best friend in the same situation as her.

A few years of training and undesirable questing later, she was still only an initiate. The backroom politics within the Guild refused to see a criminal rise in the ranks. If not for the fact that her best friend Jet was also still an initiate she might have quit long ago. She did not help matters by wearing a modified version of the guild's steel armor that Jet had made after she complained about missing the way leather armor hugged her body more comfortably. Now she was a criminal and an inappropriate slut in their eyes but she held her head high regardless of their scowls and insults. As the months passed, Celestine and many others in Bravil, began to hear horrific news of demons that spilled from fiery portals. The news that the demons had completely annihilated the town of Kvatch sent chills down the spines of Bravil's residence. Kvatch had been protected by stone walls, Bravil's timber protection seemed grossly inadequate. So she and Jet watched as many citizens and members of the guilds packed up and left the town for the seemingly safer walls of the Imperial City. Celestine choose to stay with her friend. So when the portal opened outside of Bravil's walls she stood with the other members of the guild and the town guard and fought to defend her home, her best friend and the other innocent victims inside Bravil's walls. They fought day and night until finally the Hero of Tamriel came and destroyed the portal.

Then she moved onto the Imperial City. Though she had no ties to the Thieves, her parents were still there as well as the ones she had once called friend during her childhood. She decided she could not stay within Bravil's relatively safe walls, now the portal was gone and forget about the ones she had left behind in the Imperial City. So when the demons attacked the city she helped defend the living residents of the slums. Luckily the city's poor were not the main target of the demons and so very few came that way. She was able to watch as the Golden Dragon rose into the sky and smite the demons, the sight filled her with a sense of fulfillment. She rejected an invitation to join a ceremony for the brave souls who risked their life to help others and returned to Bravil. When she returned to the Fighters Guild she was shocked to find the leader waiting for her and she was even more speechless to find that she had been promoted to Associate. Finally she was an official member of the guild. Unfortunately for Jet she also decided at this time that she would travel the land and try to help others heal the scars on the land. The memory of the Dragon never left her mind and she swore she would do good in this world, though she still returns to Bravil to visit Jet from time to time.

Appearance: [x]
She has the most beautiful green eyes that sparkle in the sun or when she is happy. Her long blonde hair never seems to lose it gloss despite the gore you can expect to find yourself smothered in. She likes to keep it loose but practicality tends to favour her using a piece of leather cord to tie it back into a simple pony tail, though the shorter strands of hair framing her face create bangs.
She wears a slightly modified version of Steel Armor fashion by her friend from the Fighters Guild. It was made more fitted for a female. She also had the shoulders and the arm of the upper armor removed, leaving a more feminine cut breastplate and gloves coming up to the elbow. However the modifications offer no tactical advantage, she simply prefers not to be mistaken for a man all the time.
The combination of her stunning looks and more revealing armor (of her curvature) sometimes comes under speculation. Especially when she enters seeder taverns, some males seem to make the mistake that she is dressed to appease a fetish and unaware they risk losing their heads for assuming as such. In other cases such as entering a new group or meeting the gaze of a higher rank in the Fighters guild. She is viewed as to be as inappropriate in her modifications as her past. She continues to argue that the modifications are more comfortable and practical for her style of combat and just because she is a warrior doesn't mean she should look like a dog.

Leather armour made in her hometown in Valenwood. It may not of true elven leather but it is indeed leather made by elves.

Character Weapon(s):

Having a strong Bosmer heritage, Saelihn has a obvious skill with bows. Lihn owns an enchanted bow which she received on the day she was sent to war. But don't be fooled by the bow, that is simply a reminder of why she came to Cyrodiil. The bosmer wields a silver long sword and shield for actual combat.

Character Bio:
Place of birth: Silvenar ,Valenwood
Twenty three years into the past we delve, to the quiet wood of Silvenar in Valenwood. Her birth was celebrated by the bosmer of Silvenar, as if she were a lady of great importance. It was a beautiful night, the stars shining so eloquently and the moon lighting up the jet sky. Through the mass of stars a shape came apparent, it was that of a man waring a hooded cape. Her parents noticed such a picture and immediately recognised what the collection of stars meant, it meant she would grow under the sign of the thief. This was a star sign that shone upon the kindness of the bosmer and made those who were born underneath the sign much more agile and lucky. The town was overjoyed by their new arrival, which lead their ruler into suspicion. The noble of the land had no real care for his people and therefore did not enjoy to see them celebrate such a thing. It wasn't a celebration for him and thus, it was wrongly celebrated.

The young bosmer grew up inside the little town, with less than a penny to her name. She was an adventurous and obscene child in Silvenar as no-one was meant to wish to leave the town, no matter the reason. In Silvenar, you were born, you lived a meager life and then, death came. This never felt right to the young girl, she felt as if this weren't her place in life. She felt as if she were destined for greatness, not to live on whatever she could find.Saélihn did not appreciate the ideas of having a family and raising children as she had decided that the land she lived in would never live up to the standards she wished for. Her parents told her that, although wishing to leave the land was understandable, you can't leave without a destination or money. And that was the problem for the young Lihn, she hadn't a clue where she wished to leave to. The young bosmer figured that if were to ever leave, once she came of an age where it was possible, that she could wander until she found her place. To wander until she found out where she was destined to be.

After much conflict, her parents decided to let the young wood elf try out a bow. Saelihn wielded the weapon much better than she had ever wielded a blade or hammer. Not only did she wield the bow correctly and with ease, she was a true archer. Saelihn Aeradel was taught for five years to master such a weapon. The way an arrow flew so gracefully through the air gave the girl great joy. She was a massive fan of beauty and all that surrounded such a thing and a bow was much more beautiful than any sword, in her opinion. She'd practice at least twice a day on her skills and how quickly she could load her bow. Saelin's parents were proud of her skill and her enthusiasm, but still they feared the worst. Lihn may have been a brilliant shot and had amazing reflexes, in the mist of a midnight intruder your skills wouldn't be as sharp. But Saelihn was determined to prove her parents wrong, she was good enough to use a bow for protection.

She was at the age of nineteen when the invasion on her land begun. As a young wood elf, Saelihn was sent with a small group of bosmers from Silvenar to the main battlefield. The invading Khajiits came from Elsweyr to conquer the elven land and set their government upon it. Saelihn wasn't entirely happy about leaving her parents behind but she knew that her part in the war would matter. 'Pals' from various towns and areas in Valenwood joined Saelihn upon the battlefield, all terrified for their future. She stood near the back of the battleground, her bow in hand and her quiver placed upon her back. The archery squadron were ordered to fire at no particular target, just to aim for the Khajiits. Luckily Saelihn was chosen out of the group to stay at the side as a 'sniper' as she had renowned accuracy in her pals battalion. Silence. And then, a deafening scream came from the opposing side. Saelihn drew her arrows from her quiver and began shooting them at various Khajiits, assuring that the shots would at least paralyze her target. The battle lasted for three days, without pause. Not one Khajiit got near enough to injure Saelihn fatally or even badly only so that they could pierce her armour. The battle was won and she could return home, but not before she had found the bodies of her battalion. And as she stood upon the pile of decomposing corpses, something hit her well and truly. Saelihn had always knew that she was destined for something great but this wasn't it. It was at this moment that she realised that she was not made to stay in Silvenar, let alone Valenwood. Saelihn was not made to stay in her Bosmer homeland, she was created to do good for the world. At that moment in time, she knew that whatever she did in Valenwood wouldn't stop the war. Only another land could help.

Upon arriving to her hometown the townsfolk rejoiced on the new of success. But whilst the others rejoiced, Saelihn was left with the job of telling the families that had lost a member the news. She was furious with the generals for not even sending a letter of sorrow to the families. This made the female bosmer loose respect for the government that she lived under. It was that night that she told her parents of her plans to leave the land. Understandably, they were shocked and appalled at such an idea . In Valenwood you stayed where you were born until death doth part you. It was apparent that she wouldn't wait for her parent's approval, as she was a Bosmer adult and didn't need her family's consent to leave. Upon that evening she packed her bags with food and supplies and took gold in her pocket, never to be seen by the bosmer of Valenwood again. She pulled two bags over her shoulders before hugging her parents goodbye. This would be the last time that Saelihn would see her parents.

After two weeks of travelling, the girl finally arrived at a tavern inside Bruma. Her body was ice-cold from the torrential rain she endured across the border between Valenwood and Cyrodiil. Her face and body were covered in dirt from the long and harsh trek she endured. Saelihn had walked through all of the harshest conditions and lived in them for two weeks without anyone to lean on to tell her that it'd be worth it.But still, whilst she was in pain from the beasts that attacked her in the night, whilst her her whole body was beginning to ice over and her feet were covered in various bruises and blisters from the journey, she smiled. That night she stayed inside the little inn and for the first time in weeks she slept upon a warm and cosy bed. But, for some reason, she couldn't sleep inside the warmth as she did in the freezing cold or the blistering heat. It seemed to her that a house couldn't bring her solitude nor a warm bed.

She knew that the only place that she'd find true peace was the forests. Even though whilst she lived inside the seas of green she still didn't feel content, it was the best she had found.Lihn's purpose in Cyrodiil was quickly interpreted as the gates of oblivion opened. It terrified her. She feared that they'd begin to open up in Valenwood and monsters would get her parents. Every second scared her in the woods knowing that a gate could open and only she would see it and perish. In fear she fled to the Imperial city, hoping for some shelter. In the imperial city chaos was stirring within the gates. These gateways were destroying all civilization discretely. It was as if everything was fine on the surface but once you wiped away the top layer you saw the chaos and neglect to the people. It was horror to even witness the towns, let alone the oblivion gates themselves.

Within the unstable civilization of the imperial city, one area grew strong. With the people unsure of the upcoming almost certain obliteration, people went to the arena to distract themselves from the deathly atmosphere. Because of the sudden uprising there were few positions available for arena fighters. This was her chance to do something to help the world she lived in. Sure it wasn't a big thing for most it only affected those who lived inside the Imperial city. But this meant she could at least calm some of the humanoids down. Within some time she pulled herself through the ranks as Saelihn the merciful. Although after all the years she stayed as a pitdog.Saelihn still spent the majority of her time wandering Cyrodiil without an aim, she continued to do so after the last gate was closed. Now she wanders, looking for people to help and to find her solitude.

Appearance:[x]
Saélihn adorns a pair of chestnut coloured eyes that tend to shimmer inside her head whenever she feels exceptionally happy. Saélihn Aeradel's features are rather perky and have a homely feel about them. Her hair is of a honey blond shade and falls down in a straight fashion just below her breasts. Saé's bangs are shaped into a full fringe that swoops slightly to the left hand side of her forehead. Although it would be much easier for the girl to simply keep her hair down or even cut it, Lihn usually pulls her hair into a pair of honey blond bunches.

Saélihn wears a set of leather armour, which she had fitted for her shape. The armour is very sparse in the amount of material that actually covers her body. The green leather on her suit covers the front and back of her corset. The front and back are held together by a thick lace type of brown leather. The corset isn't to fulfill some sort of sexually appealing appearance, it was simply practical for the conditions she lived in back in Falinesti. Although when fighting occours she harbours a piece of leather that connects to the front and back of her corset to make it more protecting. She wears leather 'bathing suit' armour on the bottom half of her body which show little skin before her high boots come into place. To match her green leather boots the girl wears a pair of long leather gloves that stop just below her shoulders.

Most look upon the young and adventurous bosmer as if she were some exotic dancer. But the clothing choice and the lack of actual material that is present upon her figure is simply due to the steaming weather in her homeland. Even if someone were to ask her to practically 'perform' a dance towards them she would simply smile and tell them that that was not part of her work. Some expect her to be much more proactive and idiotic upon their first glance on the girl, this is not entirely true. Although her outfit shows a very outrageous and dumb personality, she is a smart and strategic girl. All in all, miss Aeradel will continue to render the appearance as it shows her heritage, however dangerous this may prove to be.

She was taught to respect the Bosmer way of life over all else and therefore became uninterested in the world outside the village boundaries. As a youth, she excelled in many skills but none more so than archery. Her natural talent paired with her passion helped her to surpass her peers and soon even her teachers. Recognized for her achievement, she was extended an invitation to the hunting party, an honor among the village, in which she dominated. What would seem like impossibilities to others were simply annoyances to Regan. With her deadly aim, her prey found immediate death.

In her early teens she was exposed to the brutality in which her fellow villagers employed whilst hunting. Sickened by it, she went without food for several days until happening upon a few berries she consumed in a daze, breaking the Green Pact her village so religiously followed. She did not hold onto her secret long, and when news spread to their leader Regan was exiled for her disobedience. In time Regan began to prefer her vegetarian diet as opposed to strictly meat. Though she has not returned to her village in over seven years, she is still in moderate contact with her parents.

Regan now considers herself a traveler and never stays in the same place too long. She’s developed a curiosity about the world around her and hides very little. She’s upfront and rather charming.

Appearance: A classic beauty, Regan is 5’6” with green eyes and layered brunette hair that reaches to her lower back. Her frame is very slender with a medium bust. Her strength comes generally from her thighs, and she’ll be the first to tell you that her butt is her best feature. She wears light armor to compliment her agility. The pieces often expose a great deal of her body.

Character Name: Ilumus Archine (also goes by Wolf)

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Gender Preference: Heterosexual

Guild Affiliation(s): Dark Brotherhood (Eliminator)

Quests Completed: 2

Character Armor: Dark Brotherhood Armor, Commoner Clothes

Character Weapon(s): Iron Bow, Iron Dagger

Character Bio:
Ilumus was an odd child who found pleasure in making things suffer, his parents rarely took him outside with them and spent more time locking him in the house, every chance he had he'd sneak out of the house, and into the forest with his father's dagger. He'd sneak up behind a dear or a rat and slash it's legs preventing it from running away, stab it a good two or three times before leaving it there to die. His brother who worked for the guard hated bailing him out of prison every time he killed a neighbors pet, and they eventually found Ilumus some "help".

Day's turned into weeks, which turned into months, the help wasn't working, but he played along. He acted nice and killed not a thing, and the more he acted the more he felt the urge to hurt something.

One day disobeying his father's warnings he swam in the nearby lake only to be attacked by a slaughterfish panicking he thought his life was over, but he was saved by an Argonian who had been keeping an eye on him. Once the creature was killed the Argonian pulled him to shore and told him "little boys shouldn't be swimming in the lake" Ilumus was still shaken from the attack and didn't say anything, the Argonian carried him back to his house and told his father what happened

While Ilumus was in his room staring at the ceiling, he heard the door crash open, his parents scream. Ilumus rushed down to see what happened, the sight horrified him but in an odd way, made him want to smile, his parent's corpses on the ground his brother fighting the attackers with his remaining energy. All Ilumus could see in the group of attackers were Redguards, Nords, and Bretons, and he realized it wasn't just his house being attacked, it was his whole little village.

Ilumus rushed upstairs to his father's room, grabbed his dagger, opened the window, and climbed out. He hit the ground, tumbling and managing not to hurt himself, he sprinted through the city, too short for any one to notice. He went to find the Argonian who had saved him and this sight was truly shocking for him, the Argonian's family dead, and him tied to see the work, slowly being tortured.

Ilumus had to do something to help, the Argonian carelessly helped him when he needed it. Ilumus never had help from any one because every one judged him to be possessed or evil. "it's just one Dunmer" he told himself before sneaking up behind the Dunmer before she could deliver the final attack and stabbing her first in the back of her knee, then beneath her sword arm's armpit then finally holding her head in place he slashed her throat as if he had practiced such attack for a long time.

After Ilumus freed the Argonian he helped sneak him out of the village, but once they were out of harms way and some where safe the Argonian collapsed unable to move another step, he rolls onto his back and looks at Ilumus. "come on, where close to the next village, we'll get you some medicine and some healers over there" Ilumus said trying to help him back up but the Argonian refused the help and took his hand "I am done for...leave to Cheydinhal... enter the abandoned house... no matter how dark the basement seems... travel all the way down... there you will find a door... when you get to it, it will ask you a question... the answer is... Sanguine, my brother... it will grant you access inside... there... you will give them my ring... there... you will... be... safe" the Argonian died, his hand slipped from Ilumus's leaving a key and a ring in Ilumus's hand.

Ilumus ran tirelessly all the way to Cheydinhal, went to the abandoned house, unlocked the door, went to the basement all the way to the dark red door, he looked at the door and moved up to get a closer look at the markings and heard a voice say "What is the color of the night?" Ilumus slowly looked up to the red hand on it, recognizing the symbol from a story book "Sanguine... my brother" the door slid open and he walked in holding the ring in his hand "welcome home brother" he heard the voice say as the door closed shut behind him.

Years had gone by, Ilumus had trained under the Dark Brotherhood for the majority of his life, he owed everything to them, they were his family, a family that actually understood him and loved him for who he was, a family... he could finally love back.

¤ Historical Account - Known Facts:
tabOrigin: Imperial City

tabThis is Hestia's story as known to the peoples of Cyrodiil.

tabHestia was born and raised in the Imperial City for a majority of her young life, spending some springs and summers in Cheydinhal with her matriarchal family. As a member of House Varo, much was expected of her in terms of intellect and capability even though she was second-born; thus, her schooling was intensive. Her mother, Jastia, was controlling and over-protective, but often to the benefit of young Hestia, and the two bonded quite closely. As an adolescent, she traveled extensively in her father's retinue from the age of sixteen and onwards, as the death of her elder brother placed Hestia as the house heir.

tabIn contemporary times, her mother is known as a recluse and lives at the Varo home in the Imperial City, aiding her daughter in managing the various mercantile affairs the family is involved in. Hestia is a recognized figure in the Imperial City, having inherited not only her father's fortunes and holdings, but many of his connections as well. Over the last five years since Anastius Varo's demise, Hestia has worked to maintain ties of friendship and settle issues of dispute.

tabDespite her sociable nature and network, she is marked with the same wanderlust as her patriarch. She often accompanies her merchants across the lands or works in their stead, hiring mercenaries to accompany her. She travels to Cheydinhal from the Imperial City frequently, visiting family in the smaller settlement for extended periods of time.

tabThere are rumours, of course, concerning Hestia Varo, as there are any notable who spends time in the Imperial City. The primary one focuses on her visits to Cheydinhal: some believe her love-nest with her chosen beloved, another woman, is hidden here. Rumours circulating as to her courting of females is nothing new, but speculation as to who this newest chosen could be is pondered in some circles.

¤ Historical Account - Hidden Truths:
tabOrigin: Cheydinhal

tabThis is the story of Hestia as known to a select few.

tabBorn in Cheydinhal from an affair between Jastia Varo and a man named Erebus, Hestia grew up unaware of her true heritage. She was kept ignorant until she was twelve years old and learned the 'uncle' she had so often visited was, in truth, her biological father. Cultivated by her mother to be trained in the arts of manipulation and guided by her own ambition, Hestia agreed to undertake the teachings of Erebus. The lessons were hard but satisfying to accomplish, and she learned to dash and tumble, pick locks and move with discretion, fire a bow and wield Illusion magic.

tabJastia (and Erebus) had plans for the young woman. When Hestia was sixteen, she was introduced to the Night Mother, a figure her mother worshiped. As she was to learn, Erebus was more than a worshiper--he was a member of the Dark Brotherhood who served the Night Mother, and the greater force, Sithis. In order to advance certain plans, it would be necessary for Hestia's elder brother, Darius, to die. Along with her parents, Hestia prayed to the Night Mother. Darius died.

tabIn doing so, Hestia bound herself to the shadowy order, intrigued and terrified. At the same time, it appealed to a vein of darkness that had always run through her, the core of her that was fascinated by pain and hungered to deliver cruelty. Her desire to learn more, her ambitions and her own expectations drove her to do as Erebus bade her.

tabHestia became House Varo's new heir. The patriarch Anastius, when his grief had run its course, formally included his daughter in his retinue when he traveled the lands of Cyrodiil on business, teaching her the inner workings of his various enterprises. When she was twenty-one and had well-established herself as heir, a man came cloaked and hooded to her in the night, pressing upon her a blade and whispered commands: kill Anastius and join your true Family.

tabShe knew the risks. She knew the gains. Hestia did as she was told, efficiently and discreetly, although she did not use the dagger--her means were much more subtle, invoking the Illusion magic taught to her by Erebus. With Anastius's passing, she soon arranged a visit to Cheydinhal, where she was welcomed as one of the Brotherhood. She assumed a new identity, one dubbed Valerian, and began to live her dual-life. On one hand, she was Hestia Varo, a charming and efficient aristocratic merchant rumoured to take female lovers; on the other, she was Valerian, a closed-mouthed and calculated killer and provider for the Dark Brotherhood.

¤ Appearance:
tabHeight: 5'7"
tabWeight: 140 lbs
tabHanded: Right-handed

tabAs Lady Hestia Varo, she appears as naught else but what is desired in a female Imperial aristocrat. Her above-average height grants her a statuesque quality, and her svelte figure and lithe limbs move with a ladylike grace tinged with the subtle carriage of a predator. Beneath the layers of fine fabric which so modestly conceal her ivory skin is a physique honed and toned from a good diet and daily exercise. Delicate in the jaw and pert in the nose with high cheekbones, Hestia's tilted eyes are large and bistre-dark, framed with inky lashes. Her sable hair she prefers loose, falling in gentle waves about her shoulders. Her cupid's bow mouth smiles easily.

tabAs her alter-ego, Valerian, the lady's appearance changes drastically if subtly. Her hair is often bound back into a tight scalp-braid, her noble's attire exchanged for simple leathers practical for riding, hunting, or fighting. Her success, however, lies in her ability to alter her very body-language, her very expressions hardening the planes and angles of her face into a organic mask while the predatory aspect to her posture becomes pronounced. Her dark eyes become flat black pits, and she is more apt to sneer than smile.

tabThe Thief

tab"They say he emptied out Vilverin again, yes. Ten marauders all alone." say some rumors. "I hear he's head of the thieves guild since the Gray Fox is gone." come others. All are true. None are true.

Keiden 'The Raptor' Ti'Wolfhound was said to have been born in the underworks of the imperial city to a couple of marauding bandits. Others say Sanguine and Rajhin colaborated to place him in Cyrodil to carry out their will. For pranks and suspected thievery were his forte.

tabThe reality is that he was born in the small village of Border Watch, raised by his Imperial midwife and later on to The Great Chapel of Zenithar in Leyawiin. His life for his earlier years were full of prayers, vigils, and even lectures. This lasted until one day, when returning to his bed after a day's chores he found a diary belonging to his mother. It spoke of the love of Mother Mara and her blessings on the day his mother came with child.Further, he came to find his mothera competant thief. This would begin the begining for Khajiit youth down the opposite path.

tabHe was a natural, the rooftops opened up to him, even difficult locks sprang open at his pressence. He found himself to have a sensible and silvery disposition, argonion, khajiit and human women all let him near; the foremost proving his favorite byfar.Especially wealthy young argonion mages that would open their coffers and ne'er see him again. It was a life of adventure, lust and riches for some years.

tabSome time in his late youth the young thief found he had a special hand in the mystical arts, moving thigns with his mind and sensing things others could not.He met (as previously mention) a young argonion mage who shared his talent, they were the closest two could be, she taught him the arts and he provided her with pretty baubles, afterall, using his telekinesis to relieve the noble women of their jewelery was his best trick! He grew in his trade and eventually, while sleeping one night was approached by a man, dark in garb and

tabKeiden became a thief only topped by the Gray Fox himself,a man he aspired to meet. He carried out simple muggigns for kicks, grand heists; taking the jewelery of fine imperial women, making quite a name for himself in the back alleys and dark corners of the city. Rajhin be proud, and the thief was rewarded, people starting coming to him for his services of getting in and out without scene or with the exact opposite.

tabThis continued for some many years until he heard the Gray Fox was no more, this stuck Keiden hard. For without their supposed leader, surely the guild would cease to exist..unless they had new leadership? He made it his personal quest to collect the remnants of the guild and make himself the next grey cowled caper.

tabOrigin: Leyawiin

tabThe Infiltrator

tabThe armor that marks the man. He does not hide his success, Keiden. No, but wears it proudly on his person. One of his greatest 'supposed' jobs was the complete sacking of an Ayleid fort.It was said he spent two months infiltrating, destroying, capturing and undermining a marauder force rumored to be fifty and even one-hundred strong.

tabHe first joined under a false guise and began learning their routes, their bases and tactics then he started. One by one people would go missing, the commander of the marauders was in shock. Every time he sent men out, someone would die, dissapper, run off in terror never to be seen again. It was pure artistry to the Khajiit. And the first phase of his plan.

tabOver time he started to gain merit, eventually framing this member or that for petty offenses that the now paranoid commander punished with exile and death. Many members fell to these devices, many more to come.

tabFinally there were just a hand full, after people abandoning the militia to avoid punishment and persicution. He knew where the commander was keeping the remains of a set of light ceremonial Ayleid armor. He was going to take it.He struck during mid day, breaking into the treasury of the ocmmander and donning the armor. He was caught however, he'd sprang the trap of another, or was it all the plan?

tabKeiden took the commander hostage, and for an hour picked off the attacking marauders from the shadows.Sanguine saw the red that day. It was a blood bout but in the end, he cleansed the land of the raping pillagers and left with a small fortune in arms and jewels and his cherished artifact, not to mention the commander's fine silver sword

tab It took months more to find a smith willing to work on the armor. He find that in Anvil, it took six days to repair it and fashion it to work well with his chain armor. It took six more days for the sword that he had used to defeat the last of the marauders to be brought back to full luster. In the end he looked quite the prince and felt untouchable.

Character Bio:
xx - Bareok was born in the Imperial city, to a wealthy family living in the Talos Plaza. He is an only child; his only sibling gone - and his mother with it - during labor when Bareok was about five. Such was an ordeal that should have left the surviving husband and son grief-stricken and whatever, but Bareok’s father moved on without blinking and eye, and Bareok followed his father’s example. This wasn’t a very difficult thing to do; Bareok’s parents, always the typical rich socialites, weren’t present during his childhood. Parties, getting connections with such-and-such, and impressing all the other rich families were more important than an impressionable child. When he lost his mother he really only lost a distant figure that he was to obey when in her presence. He still had his real mother - a young female Dunmer nanny who was down on her luck and was lucky to find such negligent parents as Bareok’s. She was a typical Dark Elf, too; promiscuous, cruel, vain, and selfish. But she had a soft spot for Bareok which, frankly, could have been done without. The young woman taught the little man all she knew of the world, how to treat other men and women, and the skills she had obtained in bed… when he was older, of course.
xx - In this fashion, Bareok ‘grew up.’ He had the fortune of being charming in appearance, and found it easy to make friends who were easily impressed with his money and looks. They weren’t real friends, of course. People of more worth and brains tend to keep a polite distance from the Imperial, as he was well known to be a womanizer and have a tendency to act odd more often than was liked. Had Bareok been the type to brood and angst he would have been a very miserable man. While aware of his potentially emotionally sorry state, Bareok was merely amused by his predicament and the fickleness of others.
xx - When Bareok was a teenager, he joined the Fighter’s Guild as something to do when he wasn’t bedding some random girl or his still young-looking nanny. He liked beating animals and other guys to a pulp. This was how he got into the questing business. Killing was looked down upon inside the guild, but outside… he could mutilate and torture as much as he liked. Bandits deserved that sort of thing anyway. He found he liked to make potions out of various deadly materials and smear it across his blade or throw it into some poor unsuspecting bandit’s face or any other open patch of skin where the glass vial may cut and the poison seep into the bloodstream. It’s a wonder that he hasn’t yet gotten into the Dark Brotherhood. Bareok was fairly good at keeping the darker side of his personality away from the public eye. To everyone who knows him, he’s a harmless, goofy, womanizing, vain man. And hey, he finds that a fun way to be, too.

Appearance:
xx - He’s six foot even, broad of shoulder and muscular of build. His hair is extremely well-kept and healthy-looking. He wears it long - past his shoulders - and keeps it loosely tied at his back with green string. He trims his beard into a goatee, with a line of hair accenting his strong jaw line that matches his baritone voice. His eyes are a intense green, and most people can’t look into them for very long without feeling a little unsettled. He almost always has a crooked grin on his lips; an expression that can range from sensual to demented. Some find it attractive, some annoying.
xx - Bareok likes to dress flamboyantly. When he isn’t in his armor, he’s wearing finery at the height of fashion for a ballroom. Some who don’t know him would think he’s gay or bisexual, but bring it up and there will be a sound beating involved and a firm understanding that He Likes Women. His favorite color is green, and probably hasn’t gone a day in years without wearing something in the color.
