R-r-real thing? If Alex spared a thought for it (which he would do, later that night before facepalming at the chance he had and just missed while going stupid! Stupid! Stupid!), Serah would have probably needed to poke or shake him out of the tantalizing daydreams those two words would have spawned. Or perhaps hose him down with cold water -- that would be much faster.
Instead, Alex furrowed his brow in puzzlement, staring at her blankly. "Side?" He echoed blankly. "Like the side between the skirted terrorists and the policemen? I mean, the first choice would be the terrorists because they're in short skirts and are certainty less likely to turn me in for staying out past curfew or drive me home, but then again they also seem more likely to plaster me across the pavement... Unless there's more factions within the terrorists, like red skirts versus blue or something.
"Otherwise I'm just here to get some shots. Kinda like the reporter, but I care more about getting an image than anything else, y'know? The professionals get all these blurry shots'n'stuff, so I wanna try to be better and get a more accurate shot if I can."

"Oh, the policemen aren't their enemies. In fact, they're just nuisances." Serandite said off-handedly. Hah. Policemen versing senshi? They'd lose in a heartbeat. Unless armed with guns of course. Guns equal lethal death.
She struggled to stand, a hand clutching at her waist. She'd better get going. She couldn't get caught talking to a civilian. "Thanks for helping me." She grimaced as she said it, offering a weak smile to Alex. "Just a note for you, mister cameraman. In Power Rangers, I'm pretty sure the police weren't the enemy, you know?" She patted him on the head (even though she was significantly shorter than him) and bent down to wipe at some dirt at her ankles.
With a flinch, she leaped away on the rooftop, out of Alex's view. What an interesting boy. he simply wanted a picture. But even a picture was lethal. Just a picture could be their downfall.

Alex flinched as she patted his head. He wasn't expecting it, nor was he looking forward to the sudden leap to the roofto- WAIT. Waitwaitwait. His eyes went wide as he took a step back, mouth agape. Did she just... jump to the top of that critting roof? His brain didn't even register the fact that he got a free glimpse up her legs, due to the fact that she just jumped up to the freaking roof.
The freaking roof.
"Wait! So you mean there's a United Alliance of Evil? Rita Repulsa?!" He asked, but Serah had long since vanished. He would have stayed there longer, staring up at the rooftop had a light suddenly flickered on, spurring him to dash to the sidewalk and down the street in order to avoid awkward questions. He was busy enough with his own. What did she mean by the police weren't the enemy? Who was it? Were they hot even more dangerous than the senshi...? So many questions, so little time!
