Raphael opened up a lot after that, he was feeling much more confident. Life as Awakened, even within an Order existing in the Sleeper's world was difficult, let alone lonely. That was probably why Raphael was so shy around everyone, all the studying and meditation left little time to spare. Scholar that he was, Raphael spent the free time studying as well.
"Same goes for me" he said, "Though being Wiccan is a bit hard on the social life-eep!" Raphael then stopped speaking, he wasn't supposed to go around announcing he was a practitioner of Witchcraft, that would be insane!

He grinned again, he just couldn't help it.
"Relax. I'm an expert on keeping quiet when I need to and not repeating things I shouldn't."
He leaned back in his chair, only his clasped hands resting on the table now.
"If it makes you feel any better," he said quietly so no one else would hear, "I'm a wereleopard."
He let his eyes flash golden, the pupils forming slits just as they did on any other cat for a second partially to prove his words but mostly just to show off.

He wasn't startled, he knew there was something different about the man and he had just found out what.
A Wereleapord, that was quite new, despite the thing's he'd seen already.
"Well now" Raphael chuckled, "All this display and we've not yet exchanged names. I'm Raphael Talaris. And you my fine, fine friend?"

Hakeem stumbled through the dark alleys, his pursuers close on his tail. "Get Em!!!", "Yeah!!!", "Where ya goin baby? we just wanna play!!" his tormentors screamed as they chased him through the dank alleys, but as they were nearing a dead end Hakeem came to a stop, his pusuers slowed down as they saw theyre prey had seemingly given up.
"Aww is the baby a little tired?" asked the one in the ragged denim, obviously the leader, "come on baby dont be like that, besides i like my meat with a little...personality".
As he walked up to grab Hakeem the walls around them started to shake and it seemed like the world was about to crumble before them, turning to face the gang Hakeems appearance had changed, no longer was he the handsome young man with a smile ever present, His teeth had grew to the point that they seemed like fangs, his eyes were black, and he seemed to fill the whole expanse of the alley.
The gang wanted to run but they could not move, they stared at Hakeem with undescribable fear, the fear that come from deep inside your soul. "Well boys" Hakeem said his voice now a deep growl "Let's play"

He was almost disappointed that his little display had not surprised Rafael, but he decided that it didn't matter. After all, he was supposed to be trying to make friends, not scare him away.
"I'm Katchzen," he said with a grin, not at all expecting Rafael to know a single word of German, let alone the translation for his name.
It was not his given name, but the only people who ever called him Christopher were his parents, and even they called him Katchzen sometimes. When he'd been younger, he had recieved the nickname of Kitty, but the first person he had ever really loved had called him Katchzen, German for kitten, and he had kept the name until now, he often forgot and put his nickname instead of his given name when asked. It would have been the name on his driver's license if the woman behind the desk hadn't spoken fluent German.

"Pleasure to meet you, Kitty" Luca smirked.
"And before you ask, I actually don't know German. I called upon the Powers That Be to discern your name." A frivolous waste indeed, but it since they were in what seemed to be a contest of showing off, he figured a small use would not hurt him when times three would come to call.

It was Friday night and the evening had faded into night as the music shifted towards something darker. London After Midnight drifted across the sound system along with Bauhaus and Smashing Pumpkins. Two more of his pard had found their way inside and were dancing; Arik had joined them for awhile before returning to his table.
"What about Threefold Law? You don't worry about what might happen?"
He truely knew little of wicca and it's laws, but he had spent enough time with the wiccans in his pard to know just a little. It was not nearly enough to hold a decent conversation about the topic, but enough to understand what his friends talked about sometimes.
"Sorry," he said quietly, "It's probably not really any of my buisiness, and I don't really understand enough to know what could happen and what couldn't."

"I like to take risks," Raphael answered, "Besides, I didn't do anything too powerful or extensive, so I should be okay. And if not, oh well. I've lived a well enough life." Raphael sighed at this, he was obviously lying. Life up till now was boring him out of his mind. But tonight, or very soon, raphael knew something tremendous would happen...and it largely involved him.

Katchzen could smell that he was lying about something, but chose not to mention it when most people would have. Silence could be a hard habit to break sometimes.
"A little danger makes the world go 'round sometimes," he said, his smile flawlessly betraying nothing that he was thinking, some of which couldn't be repeated and most of which wondered about why Rafael had lied to him.

The walls of the alley were saturated with blood as Hakeem ,now in his normal state, stared at the outcome. "why must they torment me?....i try....i try so hard...to be normal, but yet they seem to take pleasure into taunting me", looking towards the sky Hakeem sighed, leaped into the air, landing on a fire escape and ascended further onto the roof, walking to the edge of the roof Hakeem looked over the city and pondered. After a couple of moments Hakeem looked into the direction of a popular gathering place umong the....."different".....,he sniffed, "it seems this city is getting a little crowded", leaping from the ledge onto the side walk below, he crossed the deserted street and entered the club.

The ignorant massed of the bar seemed to completely ignore the very injured looking man that had entered. Raphael caught eyes with the man and made a "come here" gesture with his hand.
"What'll yeh be havin' tae drink mah friend?" Rapahel asked over the roar of the crowd, letting a bit of his Scottish ancestry slip in his voice.

Katchzen looked up curiously at the newcomer, wondering what had happened to him and where he had come from. Whoose blood did he smell? It did not belong to him, nor to just one person. It worried him that he could smell blood on this man at all. Just what sort of person had Rafael invited to his table?
He noticed Rafael's accent and wondered where he had been raised. None of his questions found voice, of course. Keeping quiet was too much of a habit now for him to ask questions whether Arik said he should or not.

Frik walked down the street. His trench coat was flapping in the wind, and all around him you could hear chains hitting against each other. He looked down at the sidewalk the whole time. He had made enough money to party tonight. Then again, he made enough to party every night. Frik was close to being considered nocturnal. The few that did see him at daylight would swear that he was a satanist. He generally avoided people during the day now. Having them run at him with bibles trying to convert him was more attention than he wanted. Well, from those people anyways. Scientist with cash were good though. Wealthy necromancers were also interesting.
A girl ran up to him, "Hey , you look a little lonely tonight." Frik smiled. "Nah, I just didn't go for any jobs tonight," he said. "Oh, would that be why you have so many charms?" she asked, now swaying her hips. She was trying to sell something to easy. What a waste of money. "Sort of, more like because of my job, I have to wear them at all times," he said. The girl raised an eye brow. "A superstious hitman I see," she said. Frik laughed. "In any case, I'm not interested in what you have. Now run along before I find other ways to use your body," he said. She stopped, with a confused look. Then, she left him alone.
