Yallinda cast a panicked glance over her shoulder as Ka'da would take a tumble to the floor. However she did not pause in struggling back into her dress to help him rise. He was far too heavy for her to have an actual effect anyways. Her heart was in her throat even when Ka'da came to calm her and brush out her hair. She hated having it down. It was so long and trailed after her like a cloak of it's own. It got tangled and snarled and caught on dust and spiderwebs and...Goddess her mind was racing!
"I...Maybe...I do not know." She pathetically whimpered as she finished tying the last lace of her gown in place. She pulled slightly against Ka'da's gently brushing hands and looked up at him. "I shall simply die if this ruins everything for us Rihin!! I can not believe I was so..so foolish! We should not have done this! Not yet! I don't know how much of your mothers favor I have yet and..and..I just..." With a soft hiccup she leaned in to grasp hold of him, her small form trembling as if they were once again facing down the bandits rather then dealing with a simple case of oversleeping.
((XD She does like being the damsel in distress. *laughs a bit* Her Knight...))

Ka'da was rather taken aback by Yallinda's words. He stared at her rather stunned at her until she hiccuped and leaned into him and grabbed hold of him. He lowered the brush, dropping it to the bed and wrapped his arms around her.
"Don't you dare regret this 'Linda," He whispered fiercely into her ear, nearly shaking with anger. "Last night was the best night of my entire life and I won't have you go and throw it away like it were nothing! We will be fine, we will survive. I know you are scared of losing favor with the Matron, but that is no reason to throw away what we have together. We will just have to be careful. If you are asked about where you were, all you have to do is tell her that you went out to meet a lover. The matron can't mind that you want your personal life away from the House. She'll probably be glad that you didn't conduct your clandestined meeting in her House. Now then..dry your tears. Would you like your hair to at least be braided? It will keep it out of your way."

Yallinda closed her eyes as she felt Ka'da's arms wrap around her. She felt a slight wetness clinging to the corners of her eyes. Stupid girl! She shouldn't be -this- emotional! It actually concerned her that she would get this worked up..and feel not one moment as if she were in control of it! She heard Ka'da's whisper in her ear...and Goddess he was trembling too! Though it seemed his words were more..angry...then she expected. Yallinda lifted her head back to look up into his face as he seemed to..scold her almost. Yallinda lifted her hand, and lightly tapped it against his chest.
"Oh Rihin! You...silly male." She scolded him back as a faint smile tugged at her lips. She batted her red eyes to push back the gleam in the corners. "You think I'm worried about your mothers favor for the sake of it alone? No...no... I worry about her favor because I need it so that I can be with you! I know I always said that all I wanted was a place in your House...but my Knight. I just...it is -you- I want more then anything now. I am scared of somehow losing our chance together. That is all. Wouldn't you regret last night if it meant we would never be able to spend more nights together?"
Yallinda paused and brushed her fingers through her hair. "Yes..I suppose I ought to braid it. Perhaps something less ornate from now on, so it will not seem so..suspect..."

Ka'da's anger turned to bewilderment when Yallinda looked up into his face with a strange look in her eyes. "How am I silly?" He muttered frowning slightly at the smile that was playing on her lips.
He sighed heavily and pulled back from her slightly to try and figure out why Yallinda hadn't taken his words seriously. He was rather surprised by her next words and relaxed almost instantly as they registered.
He smiled down at her, pulling her close to place a kiss on her upturned lips before shaking his head and replying. "Ah, I'm glad i was wrong in my assumption. I should never have thought that lowly of you. You are after all, an angel compared to the vipers in my House. I would regret never getting to be with you ever again dear Linda."
Ka'da pulled Yallinda over to the bed, where he sat down and began to brush through her hair getting rid of the tangles at the end of it. "A braid then, I can do those pretty well. Though It may be a bit messy."

Yallinda allowed herself to be pulled along to the bed after receiving the kiss from Ka'da. Such a silly male... Or perhaps not so silly. She really should have been more upset over the possibility of losing favor in the House then losing out on having him at her side. But she just wanted to be with him so badly! Yallinda say upon the bed and nodded her head slightly.
"I will be content just to not trip over it my love." She whispered to him. Yallinda closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. "As soon as you are done, we must return to your House. I believe...I believe we should go strait to your Mother. I do not want the servants to gossip and have her hear rumors before we speak with her. She values being forthright correct? Perhaps we can go to her and bring up the idea of marriage." She turned a bit and lifted her hand to press it to Ka'da's chest. "I shall ask that, should you perform your task well and please her, that perhaps as a reward..we could be married?"

Ka'da's hands were quickly lost in the mass of hair as he tried to quickly assemble a braid that wasn't too messy. He was biting his lip slightly when her words hit him and he found himself gaping at the back of her head.
"W-wh-what?" He managed to croak out, his face a mask of shock and surprise. "Marriage? You..you want to marry me?" The thought of marriage hadn't really sunk into his mind before and he was having a hard time getting his head around it. He hadn't thought of ever giving himself solely over to a female in that manner before so it was a real shock for him hear Yallinda suggest it as though she had thought about it before.
"Hold on," He murmured softly as he dropped her hair and tried to compose himself. "You love me so much you want me for all of time?"
The More Ka'da thought about her suggestion the more he could see it was a good idea. His matron would be pleased with their up front admittance, though he wasn't sure that she would like the idea of them being married. Though as of late, she had seemed very pleased with the services Yallinda was giving the House and appeared to be willing to do anything to keep her on hand.
"You know..that may be a good idea. Though..it being up to me to perform well may not be a good idea. What if something were to happen to me? She'd want some sort of assurance that you'd stay here even if I were to fail." Ka'da finally replied.

Well...he certainly seemed stunned. Yallinda watched as Ka'da underwent an amusing array of emotions. His mind must have been spinning! They had really only talked about being given permission to be with one another. Yallinda though had other ideas about all of this. She had intended on marrying Ka'da once she realized how much she liked being protected by the larger male. She suppose she ought to have brought it up before to him...but he had not needed to know until now.
"Yes." She returned "I want you. All to myself, for the rest of our lives. I want you in a way that no other can ever possibly take you away from me." She tilted her head a bit and reached out to stroke one of the links of braid.
"Well. I...trust that you will do your best. If not for your Matron, then at least so we can be together." She lifted her hand to gently stroke his hand. "We shall see what she says, and worry about the rest as it comes my love. Come. Let us hurry on to your Mother and see this to it's end."

Ka'da could see by the expression on Yallinda's face that she had thought of this "marriage" idea for a while now. He wasn't sure if it pleased him or not at first. But the more he thought about it the more it made sense. He had after all given her more than any male had ever given her before. He had saved her life, given her a place to serve and live and now it seemed logical to keep him where he could continue to serve and keep her safe.
Ka'da couldn't help but appreciate that. He felt himself relax and feel relieved at her next words. "I suppose I should be flattered you feel this way, it is the first time that anyone has ever sad this to me. I want you all to myself as well, dear Linda." ka'da replied pulling her closer and lavishing her neck with soft kisses.
"You needn't worry, I don't even know why I said that. Fear most likely." Ka'da replied with a slight shrug. "I agree..lets get this finished so we can get it over with. I do hope we get a favorable word from the Matron." he added as he picked up her hair and finished her braid.
