-Cheesecake baking, glass of water nabbed, and time checked and noted in her brain, Aurora sat down in her chair, arranging herself comfortably as she watched Mili take her first turn, refreshing the basics in her own mind.
Winning WAS better. But sometimes you had to lose, and in a situation like this, she was going in it expecting to lose. Didn't mean she couldn't try for some really impressive turns though! Praise from someone really good at something, was almost as nice as the triumph of actually winning in the first place.-

Time passed and the game went on. Mili focused as best as she could with the smell of cheesecake filling her nose. She had conquered Australia early in the game, and gotten a quick advantage. Actually, most of the board was covered in her little red pieces, but Aurora was doing a lot better than Mili had expected her to. If they played more frequently, she could eventually offer up a challenge. This made her happy that she would have someone to game with... especially someone who made snacks while they were playing.
She stared over at the timer, and tried to will it into dinging.

-It was a little difficult at first. The first couple of turns took actual effort to try and recall the exact steps and make sure she did everything required of her. But it all fell into place pretty quickly, the game becoming more fun. She'd bite her lip as she thought super hard about the best strategies, most of which Mili saw straight through, and she found that all the attention put into it actually kept her from needing to fidget and stretch. The ding of the timer actually caught her off guard.- "Ohhh, I'll be right back!"
-Being Mili's turn anyway, Aurora got up, scurrying over to the oven to check that it was for sure done, before pulling it out with a pair of mits. Luckily, ritzy place it was, the kitchen had a seperate cooler for baking then the actual refrigerator. So Aurora was able to set it immediately into the cold air without letting the actual pan cool, since it wouldn't harm anything around it.
Returning with a knife, she glanced at Mili's move, rolling her own couple dice in defense. Her tongue sticking out mildly as she noticed the numbers were lower. Another piece gone to the Risk queen.
Smiling as she settled in for her own move, she motioned at the bowl of fruit she'd been picking from while they played.- "Just mixed fruits and sugar for the topping? Or should we do some chocolate too?"

What kind of question was that? "All of them," Mili replied.
Looks like she took another piece and with it another territory. The dice loved her tonight. Had she been old enough, she would have left right then and gone to the craps table and won some spending cash.
Not as if Father didn't give her enough, but a girl can always use more money. More money meant more shoes and ribbons and lovely things. Maybe even more yummy snack things.
She stood up from the table and walked over to Aurora, "Can I help put the toppings on?"

"Sure, we can take a break and stretch our legs a bit" -It wasn't like someone could horrible destory a cheesecake putting the toppings on. In the earlier stages maybe, but no, this was definately safe.
Taking a brief moment to actually stretch her legs out, she moved over to the counter, setting out the toppings. A bowl with some strawberries (in which she'd already cut the green off), blueberries, and some raspberries. A pot of the stove with a red looking goo, a sugary strawberry mixture. And last but not least her bag of chocolate chips, that was now being laid out on the counter and chopped into tinnier bits by Aurora.
That done, she retrieved the now cool 'cake' from the fridge, settling it on the counter in front of her friend. Sometimes cheesecakes tasted better after sitting a day, but they weren't bad earlier then that. And besides, being hungry always made food taste more delicious, and her stomach could already be heard growling and grumbling.- "Alright, do your worst." -She insisted, deciding to take the backseat to the whole thing, unless it really seemed she was needed.-

Mili grabbed a handful of strawberries in one hand, and blueberries in the other. "BAM!" she yelled as she threw them at the cheesecake. It always worked on TV...
Not so much in real life though. Some bounced onto the floor, and a couple actually managed to stay on the cheesecake, but they didn't look very attractive there. Then she grabbed the raspberries and tied to use them to fill in the holes where the other fruit hadn't landed. It was a good thing that she knew it would taste good, because it wasn't exactly pleasing for her eyes.
Mili frowned at Aurora, almost ashamed that she had been so sloppy when she usually was such a perfectionist. She wasn't used doing kitchen stuff, and it showed. "Maybe you should handle putting the chocolate chips on..."

-Aurora watched as the 'mess' occured, being suddenly reminded of a few cooking occassions with her youngest brother Lallo. Though Aurora liked cleanliness and beauty, sometimes it was okay to accept enthusaism as just as good. She scooped up the fallen berries as Mili placed the raspberries, depositing them in the trash. Grinning a grin that made it obvious she was trying to hide an amused laugh, she waved her hands off.- "Alright, I'll get it. Just grab the plates and forks and take them to the table."
-Baking done, game winding towards an end, the two sat and played, devouring far more cheesecake than pretty little highschoolers should have, continuing to talk and gab about everything and nothing even after Mili had conquered over Aurora and the world.
It was dark when the two finally made it back towards their seperate dorm rooms, full of sugar and giggles. It'd be a good day, an amazingly fun day of carefree youth. A gift well deserved of two hard working defenders of justice.-
