Rory sighed. "You cannae possibly wear all o' it, or fill our closet up. I hae t' hae clothes in there, too." He didn't want to upset her after she'd been so sick, but he had to put his foot down. The closet was starting to look cramped.

Lee slouched, nodding at his words. She supposed Rory needed more room, too. "How would I sell it, though? I mean, wouldn't I have to ask to get a booth or something?" Lee honestly had no idea how this would work, and wasn't excited to find out, either. Selling her highly treasured belongings would be hard, but at least she could feel as if she was bringing something helpful to the household. Extra money couldn't hurt.

"Could do tha', or you could sell them t' th' seamstresses," Rory suggested. "I know it's hard fae you t' gi' them up, but you said you were bringin' a lot o' this back t' sell off. I like you haen nice things, Lee, but w' just donnae hae th' room fae all o' it. I'm sorry." He nuzzled her shoulder a bit, not wanting her to be upset.

Lee shook her head softly, sighing a bit to herself. "I know. And I think I'll see the seamstresses. It'd be easier..." And faster. No chances to second guess her actions. "Seamstresses are lucky. Always getting to be around clothes like that." Jerks. She was stuck with tickets and impatient people, and most of the time boring coworkers.

"You wanna be a seamstress?" Rory asked, moving to look at her. "They probably got some openin's an' will teach you how t' make clothes. Be a useful skill t' know when w' hae kids."

Cocking an eyebrow, Lee looked back at Rory, clearly a little confused. "Huh? But I already have a job." She didn't get to do fun things for work. It wouldn't be work that way. Silly, Rory.

"Aye, an' you hate it," Rory chuckled. "You like clothes an' you'd prolly be good at makin' 'em, too."

Looking off a moment, Lee let her head rest against Rory as she thought. "They'd let me make clothes and then they'd pay me for it?" No way. That really made no sense at all. Then again, Rory loved his job. Perhaps it was possible to have fun and actually enjoy what you do for a living...

"Sure. It'd also be useful when w' hae kids whose clothes will likely be in need o' mendin' on occasion," Rory said, stroking her hair. "It'll take some learnin' on how t' make clothes, but I think you'll pick it up pretty well."

Useful? Lee? How could she say "no" now? Grinning, Lee nodded up to the boy as she said, "I'll ask about it when I go over to sell all my clothes, I guess." She found it odd that she was actually looking forward to selling her treasured belongings now.

Rory moved her around in his lap so she was straddling him, his arms resting around her. "Hae you eaten yet? W' can make somethin' t' eat." He grinned. "Or you can get dressed nice an' w' can gae t' a restaraunt. Somethin' outside th' carnival."

Lee bit her lip, trying to control her excitement. "I dunno, is that what you wanna do?" She didn't want to seem to eager, knowing going would put Rory out of his comfort zone.

Rory grinned. "What I wanna do is tear your clothes off an' get under th' covers wi' you. Tha' aside, gaen out might be nice, eh? You got so many pretty clothes now, you should get chances t' wear 'em."

Lee giggled, leaning forward to give him a kiss. "You pick what I wear, then." Just the dress. She didn't trust him to pick the accessories -- not that he'd probably want to anyway. He really couldn't go wrong, though, when she loved all her clothes. Hopefully he just knew enough not to pick something too fancy or too casual for dining out.

"I ain't good at tha' sorta thing, Lee," Rory said, shrugging. "How about I pick out your undies instead?"
