Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki

"Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it."

Eriko cocked an eyebrow up at her Taicho's comment on her physical appearance without the collar. Was he serious? She felt naked, stripped bare despite her own feelings towards it. Of course, she did not say this and took in what else he had to say. She was just processing that bit about his devotion to the Gotei 13 when he made the offer of being his Fukutaicho. Eriko's eyes widened as she turned to face him. Again, was he serious?

"Are you kidding me?" the Sanseki got up and was at her Taicho's side within seconds. "It's an honor, really but I'm not ready for something like that. I've only learned Shikai for a day and been of any real use as your Sanseki for far less." She was about to continue this little speech when one of their subordinates rushed in through the door and started babbling something about the Human World. "Hold your ground, man. Calm down and speak properly. What about the Human World?"

The young man followed her advice and cleared his throat before speaking again. "It's a message from Kirisho-Taicho of the 9th Squad about sudden disappearances of humans, not just their souls, the Vatican City, Rome. He sent word for us to be on standby - sir," the man added quickly.

"Is that all?" she asked, not showing her sudden panic in her voice. At the solider's affirmation, she sent him away and faced Lee. "Okay, this changes things. I'm not saying yes but it is obvious that if this threat progresses, more high level Shinigami will be needed. I thank you for your offer, Masashi-Taicho. I will think about it a bit longer but for now, I think our services are needed in Rome. See you there."

With that, Eriko pulled out her Zanpakuto. The young woman stuck the sword in mid-air and turned it, calling forth a Senkaimon. She entered without another word, hoping that her Captain would soon follow her.

Lee simply nodded to Eriko about her having some time to think about the offer looking at the Division member as he arrived. So the boy was already attacking again? Well that wasn't entirely unexpected and therefore he didn't feel the need to assist them all immediately. Giving Eriko the nod to go ahead he waited till she was through before closing the Senkaimon.
"Fight well Eriko-san I will be there as soon as I analyse this information for any weaknesses. There has to be one in there somewhere." One more Captain present would surely make a difference but not if they didn't have any idea what they were walking into. Walking back behind his desk he took a seat and opened up the first folder then flipped through it at surprising speed his eyes scanning the pages as he did so. After a little while all the information had been looked over and he stood back up stretching somehow knowing everyone hadn't been fairing well. They were all surely strong but going against someone of the boy's obvious caliber would be no simple feat and something that would require careful planning to get through. Talking was always an option if worst came to worst however he would attempt a few ideas he had to try and defeat the kid. Opening up a Senkaimon Lee looked inside then held out his finger as two hell butterflies landed on it and he leaned in and whispered to them. The butterflies then took off into the sky to relay the messages and without another glance back Lee stepped inside the Senkaimon disappearing.

|Entrance From Main|

Lee entered into his office a short time after leaving the funeral and immediately walked to the window looking out it with a vacant stare. Dolor had been defeated in no small part to Tsukiko's planning and now with very little rest they were heading off to their home to find their leader. This leader they knew basically nothing about with an unknown amount of power to fight him or come to an agreement. It all sounded rather odd to be honest and unfortunately was just business as usual for them so not entirely unexpected. Hopefully Tsukiko actually had some sort of plan instead of just coming up with something in the heat of the moment. Sighing Lee reached into the false piece of floor after removing it and pulled out the sake as well as a cup and setting them on his desk. After replacing the false piece of floor he took a seat behind his desk pouring himself some sake and taking a small drink. Relaxation was something that sounded good and was actually needed in this case considering what they were going to have to do in a short amount of time. There was a good chance even with their level of power and skill that they may be missing one or two people after returning if they returned at all.

It was not a scenario that would be unlikely given the circumstances. Still there would be plenty of time for those kind of thoughts later right now Lee just wanted to relax.
'What do you think Namihime? Do we stand a chance while in hell?' There was a long pause as his spirit was obviously thinking of the best way to phrase her answer before replying. 'I think if you all work together and watch out for each other then there is no reason to believe you guys will not come out on top and come back with everyone. Not that it will be easy I am sure Lee-kun.' Lee closed his eyes and nodded as he took another drink of the sake the bottle still resting on his desk. 'Ever the optimist huh? Well I suppose you might have a point though. Well we might as well kick back while we wait for it to begin I suppose. Not that I am in anyway tired.' Smiling slightly in response to what else his spirit said he just took another drink allowing himself to relax for the first time in a week or two. Figuring he might as well enjoy it while he can after all despite his spirit's optimistic nature he had no illusions of things going too smoothly.

l Entrance from Main l

Eriko entered the Gobantai grounds by walking normally and holding the Captain's haori, folded with the Division's insignia face up. Silently, she made her way into the main building while ignoring the questions, if any, that came about noises being heard from Sōkyoku Hill. By the time that she arrived at his door, the inquiries and the greetings had stopped so it was ridiculously quiet except for the whispers of movement that came from the other side of the door. The Fukutaicho knocked on the door but did not wait for Lee's permission before entering his office as she should have probably.

"Good day, Masashi-Taicho," greeted the girl as the door closed behind her, "Sorry for not waiting but I just wanted to return your haori as soon as possible when Tsukiko found no more need for it." Eriko tucked a piece hair back in place, strode over to his desk and placed the garment there. The sake did not register as yet and did not bother her when it did.

Lee had his chair turned towards the window as he looked out it drinking slowly from his sake while resting his right leg on his left knee. It was odd to see things looking so peaceful after what had happened at the funeral something people were likely to have questions about. It didn't quite seem constructive to tell everyone in the Division only to turn around and tell them he was going to be heading to the place of residence for Hei's killer. It would be better in the long run to just explain things when he returned. Scratch that if he returned. If he didn't there were certainly qualified people to take over for him. His Division wasn't attached to him enough to downright refuse to follow anyone else. Lost deep in thought Lee almost didn't hear the knock on his door then hearing it open and a familiar voice entering his ears.
"I wasn't expecting any visitors Eriko-san but feel free to come in and have a seat. I am enjoying a rare moment of relaxation before going with Tsukiko-san. It is fine really there is no need for you to wait for me to answer to come in. My haori? Well that wasn't really necessary but thank you none the less. Did she find no need for it? Oh well what I get for trying I suppose."

Turning in the chair to face his Fukutaicho he gave her a once over as if to see how she looked after the battle before turning back towards the window. "You look well. How are you feeling emotionally after what happened at the funeral? Funerals can bring up long suppressed memories and emotions. Oh there is a bottle of sake on the desk if you would like some. I usually don't drink it very often myself but I find the occasional partaking to be relaxing." Then quite suddenly a though hit him concerning Eriko and her new position. Lee had yet to even over his hand in helping her achieve Bankai something that he really felt he needed to offer. Even if it was just for an hour or two today. "It has just come to my attention that I have yet to offer my assistance in helping you achieve Bankai. You wished to get stronger and that is the obvious way to do so. So would you like some help on that front Eriko-san?" Turning the chair around to face her again he offered his friendliest smile he could muster which wasn't much more than a normal smile. Still it was a lot coming from his usual neutral face. "Of course it doesn't have to be now if you don't want it to be but I figured I would at least offer. It might be a good idea to do it before I leave however if you want help."

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Fukutaicho

"Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it."

Eriko had a seat as he suggested and smiled a little at him. "Oh, it was no problem to bring it. You're very welcome," she said hurriedly but he was already moving on to how she felt about the recent occurrences at Hei's Funeral and an offer of his sake.

With her smile still in play, the young woman replied, "I am well. It did nothing like that for me, sir. I have buried such memories for my own sanity and I don't drink ever. However, thank you for your offer." The Fukutaicho listened some more to him and realized that she had not even thought about learning Bankai for the whole week. She was more concerned about her new office and lending any help that she could for the funeral. With those things out of the way, there was nothing in reality to stop her from taking on the task as soon as possible. She had hardly paid any attention to the battle on the funeral site so worse yet for her participation in it. Her smile faded just as suddenly as Lee's had presented itself. It was odd.

"Actually, I do want to help and I'm very grateful that you offered. I can't believe that I did not pay more attention to it. It is a requirement for a Fukutaicho after all." She would have questioned his decision to train her before going who knew where but deducted that it was better than leaving his Division in the hands of a Fukutaicho without a hint at Bankai. The girl striaghtened her composure in the chair and breathed. "I wouldn't mind starting now if you are able. Most of the previous work has been taken care of so when I return to my office, it will be more about Hei's fiuneral if anything at all."

Lee gave Eriko a slight inclination of his head to show that he had heard her saying welcome before listening to what else had to be said. So she was feeling fine? Lee could have swore he seen a few tears at the funeral but maybe that was his imagination or just business as usual for a funeral. He didn't really know since Hei's had been the first big funeral he attended in countless years.
"Not drinking is a good thing I suppose. It certainly keeps your wits about you. Not that I intend to drink enough that I do not have my wits. Still sake can be a cruel mistress if you are not careful." Finishing what he had left he set his cup beside the bottle of sake closing it and setting it to the side for the moment. Taking a much more business posture again straight backed and eyes staring straight ahead into Eriko he waited for her to speak up about learning her Bankai. The look her face said it all really. Eriko had not thought about attaining Bankai at all in the last week. True she had been busy but Lee would have thought her desire to get stronger and be more useful to outweigh all else. Still it wasn't that big of a deal she had only been Fukutaicho for about a week. When Eriko finally did speak up she accepted Lee's offer of help confirming his thoughts on her not even thinking of it. "No it's not really a requirement for being a Fukutaicho despite how many of them have one. Now for becoming a Taicho it is a requirement. Either way it is not that big of a deal."

Hearing the rest of what was said Lee's face turned quite serious as he decided to let her know of the possible dangers of it. "Okay then we will start immediately but first I feel it important to let you know something important. While it is true that normally everyone and their spirit is unique and have different ways of attaining Bankai it usually involves something very dangerous to prove you are worthy. Bringing you to a state of near death can help as well. If not towards achieving Bankai at the very least to commune with your spirit more. That is of course a last resort though so don't expect that too much. If anything exhaustion helps as well. You can go ahead and leave for the training grounds when you are ready and I will follow." Waiting for her to leave Lee got up leaving his haori on the desk so it didn't get cut up or anything of the sort in the training. Not to mention he was thinking of using shunko instead of his blade this time though the potential destructive force the technique carried was making him rethink it. Either way he retrieved his blade and tied it to his left side ready to begin.

"Bankai, huh?" Aurelius sauntered into the room, having taken care of the lock with ease via telepathy. Instead of using his mind to open the door, he used his newfound muscles to stand on his tiptoes and open the door by himself. Entering the room, he stopped three feet inside, and breathed a sigh, putting his hands to his head and slicking his hair straight back. Opening his eyes, one could see the star pattern on his pupils as he opened his mouth to speak. "Yeah, I remember your abilities. Quite frankly they are quite useless for one who has just been promoted to the 10th Division Captain by the replacement Captain Commander, Hakase Yuki." Tugging Eriko's Zanpakuto away from her, he caused it to float towards him as it fell apart into the original pieces it was made of. The mekugi slid out, giving way to his psychic power and hung in the air as he pulled the tsuka off the metal piece it surrounded. The tsuka-ito unraveled and the tsuba slid off, baring the nakago completely. Aurelius watched these items circle around him slowly, carefully studying their craftsman ship and measurements. "You'd be better suited making a new one. But of course you'd need a new soul. Perhaps you're better suited for other forms of combat, like say, Kung Fu? Though not at that weight, it would hinder you too much. Just a suggestion though." He fell silent, quickly reassembling the blade and pushing it back over to Eriko, letting it fall into her hands. Old habits died hard, and even though he was basically Tsukiko's slave, he was still pretty blunt. Afterall, he hadn't been told to be nice, he just wasn't allowed to use his abilities to hurt people.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Fukutaicho

"Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it."

Eriko kept quiet for the most part while Lee returned to his more familiar disposition and related her the possible danger of training for Bankai. She nodded accordingly and rose out of her seat with the intention to follow his orders when Aurelius walked into the room. He did not float in his little obnoxious barrier but walked and was speaking to them. The Fukutaicho's hand went for her Zanpakuto but was not fast enough as the Exaequere dismantled her sword basically in front of her. The girl could not help but stare at him simply. His insult about Cho's abilities had not registered as yet as presently, she was taking these few minutes to take in what the young boy had said.

"Wait, what?" Unfortunately, those were the first words to come out but they did match an equally perplexed facial expression. "What are you even doing here? Why are you not frozen anymore? What are those things at your neck and wrists?" A necessary breath was taken before she plunged forth once again. "And what do you mean I've been promoted to the 10th Division Captain? I just started being his Fukutaicho!" Her gray irises were wild now as she looked back at her Taicho or was that former Taicho? Another breather, "What are you talking about, Aurelius?"

That last question managed to calm her down completely, bringing her off of the erratic emotional rollercoaster. She opened her eyes from a pause and waited for the Exaequere's response. This ought to be good.

Lee glanced to the door as he heard the somehow familiar voice of Aurelius though how it was familiar was slightly unknown. Not to mention he had heard the door actually open as the more healthy looking kid walked inside so nonchalantly causing Lee to give him a slightly cold stare for a moment. Eriko had been about to leave and for obvious reasons did not continue though Lee focused on Aurelius instead for the moment.
"So I see you got out early because of good behavior. Still if Tsukiko-san is just letting you walk around then there is likely some kind of fail safe in effect. I would watch where I go however. There are still quite a few Shinigami who would be more than willing to end your life if given the chance. Somehow I think in your current state they would have more than an easy enough time killing you." Lee's voice didn't hold the expected coldness and instead somehow held a casual tone as if talking to someone who was a long time friend. Lee really didn't hold a grudge after all to him it was almost like the boy's attack had just been a giant temper tantrum since no one had actually died from it. Dolor's arrival and murder of Hei had sort of killed what animosity he held towards the boy after all he hadn't been there for most of the battle.

Hearing the first part of what Aurelius had to say to Eriko made Lee raise an eyebrow at the last part curious as to what the boy was talking about. At the same time however seeing the star pattern over his eye meant that he was speaking truthfully. Eriko was being made a Captain? Then almost as if on cue a hell butterfly flew into the room and landed on his shoulder by his left ear. The message delivered just further spoke the truth of Aurelius' words causing Lee to glance at Eriko for a moment. Eriko was obviously very confused right now though considering they were down three Captains scratch that two Captains it was not unexpected.
"Congratulations Eriko-taicho..." Watching as Eriko's Zanpakuto was taken away by Aurelius Lee rested his left hand on his own slowly not making any further movements. He didn't really expect the boy to use the blade against either of them but you could never be too safe when dealing with a former enemy. Listening to the boy for a second time he took a glance in Eriko's direction to see her reaction to the boy's words. It was obvious the boy was blunt to a fault with very little manners. Not that it really mattered one way or another.

"Interesting observation do you have a habit of telling your enemies how they could improve? Or is this your way of telling us we are no longer enemies? Doubtful considering who you are. Still I suppose there is no need for us to fight anymore at the moment. I take it Tsukiko-san has filled you in on her plan to go to your world and sort this all out? You are likely the one taking us there right? I doubt we could get there so easily otherwise someone would have stumbled upon your home before. Then again we probably wouldn't know if someone had correct? Never mind disregard my words just thinking out loud. Not that I need to with you..." Taking his hand off his Zanpakuto Lee turned to look at Eriko curious if she still wanted to do the training right now. She was no longer his subordinate and now an equal. At least in rank. Turning back to Aurelius Lee decided to try and find out a little about what they were getting themselves into. "So tell me Aurelius what is this leader of yours like? You of course do not have to tell me but it's better to know as much about what you are facing as you can. You likely know a lot about him correct? Also what is your residence like as a whole? By residence I mean your dimension or wherever it is you reside." Curiosity was taking him by the hand leading him to ask such questions that he didn't know if he would receive an answer to. The child had suddenly become the one person who could tell him what lay ahead and perhaps even if they stood a chance of winning if the kid was feeling generous. After all Aurelius could use his ability to find answers to questions right? Or at least something similar to it.

"I am here because I can be, I am unfrozen because my mistress willed it so, these are none of your business, and frankly, don't ask me to explain something as complex as the inner workings of a Hakase. It's next to impossible. What rank you merely got hours ago is none of my concern, really." He answered her in order and in rapid succession, taking full advantage of his new ability to speak. Random books began flying off Lee's shelves and they zoomed towards Aurelius, quickly creating a mock set of stairs for him to scale until he was eye-level with this girl who was six inches taller than two of him and easily eight times heavier than he. Reaching out, he moved his finger around in many different directions, expecting her to follow it, which was usually a reflex action found in their species. He recorded her actions. "Have you considered surgery to drop that weight? It would improve your kickboxing threefold and I dare say you could use it, my dear. I could do it by rapidly vibrating your subcutaneous fat and forcing you to burn calories. Were you not depressed that I turned your fireball into a Hydrogen bomb? Perhaps if you were more well versed in other areas, you might fare better against that psychopath Dolor than you did against me." Aurelius' gaze flicked to Lee as he spoke and his book-stair began to alter into a pathway that lead up to Lee's desk. Once atop it, Aurelius cocked his head to the side at the idea he would be cut down by any number of Shinigami. "Doubtful, Lee-kun. I may not be able to use my abilities to bring you any sort of harm, but I can still protect myself. Last I checked, the only thing you guys could do to me was Kuyo Shibari and that only lasts for a few moments and not all of you can use it. After that, you'd resort to Hei, yes? But he's not here any longer. Interesting man he is though. Suffice to say, I am quite safe from any unwanted cases of death." Aurelius moved his hand to his temple and rubbed it as if in deep thought.

"I speak only on what I feel is necessary to be spoken on. Namely she spoke of her Bankai, I felt it prudent to warn her that Cho is utterly useless. Not only on me, but on just about any other Shinigami. You got shot down by my mistress, yes? And you felt awful about it. Well, had you been better at hand-to-hand and had overwhelming strength, you may have bested her, especially since she was unable to use Bankai." Aurelius pondered on his next set of questions, it did indeed all boil down to how generous he felt. He hadn't actually been ordered to tell about his homeland or his superiors. "I'm afraid you'll have to ask my mistress for that information, Lee-kun. I will tell you this, since it's only fair now that Hei's dead. Dolor can distort people, this much is true, what he doesn't want you to know is that whatever he does to someone instantly reverts back once they are far enough away. He draws markings on you before doing it and likes to hide it where you won't find it, namely the head hidden by the hair. That's all you get for now. Think about what I said, I'll certainly be around." Waving his hand lazily, Aurelius turned, rearranging his book-stair to the floor and promptly taking his exit. As soon as the door shut behind him, the books were lifted into the air, and stuck back where they had come from.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Fukutaicho

"Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it."

Eriko, as calm as she appeared to be, was still out of it. The entrance of the Hell Butterfly confirmed simply something that she had not quite come to terms with as of that moment. Hence, the Fukutaicho almost waved off her Captain's congrats but thought better of it and kept her hands to herself. Masahi-Taicho's questions went unnoticed by Eriko's mind as it was still putting it all together like a toy puzzle. She was a Captain, in name only for now but she was a Taicho. Ow, the thought hurt but the little boy in their presence did not give much time for that as he rattled off the answers to her questions from the opening ramblings and then proceeded to give her adivce - rudely - but advice all the same. He could help her lose weight. It was a tempting offer. Without her father's constant supervision, she had let herself go somewhat in the light of the newfound freedom. The girl had to wonder if it would be worth it.

One would think that she was being selfish since the Exaequere had just insulted her sword twice and Cho, for herself, was boiling with the thought of coming out for another but useless ranting session. However, as much as it was something that could infuriate her, it was also an opinion that did hold some level of truth to it. Her eyes had been following Aurelius' finger for all this time but stopped once the lad switched his attention to Lee. His responses to the man caught her attention until he returned to the topic of Cho being not much help. An inward groan was in order. Beyond that, she kept her ears peeled for the vital information for the latest of captured Exaequere, Dolor. Almost immediately he left with little a hint about where he could be found but more than likely, it would be the Junibantai Grounds. Eriko turned to face Lee.

So many thoughts were racing through her mind, furrowing her brow as she tried to decided what her course of action would be from here on out. Track Aurelius down and lose this excess weight before Bankai training? "Masashi-Taicho, what do you think? Obviously, Bankai is a must have now but if Aurelius can do what he said, would it be possible for you to help me with my hand to hand combat skills? No wait, that would be more Nu-Taicho's thing, wouldn't it?" Finally, the newly appointed Taicho took her seat again from across her former Taicho chair and bit her nails, still pondering this whole situation.

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taicho

"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take."

Lee listened as Aurelius spoke to Eriko first not missing the whole 'my mistress' business that he kept talking about, which obviously meant that for some odd reason he was choosing Tsukiko as his master. Why did the Hakase family attract such odd people to them? Well no use dwelling on it now it was quite obvious Aurelius would be around for quite some time which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of Shinigami wouldn't like it yet when did the Hakase family ever care about what people thought? At the mention of Eriko's weight Lee lifted an eyebrow curious as to where the boy was even going with this. Hearing where Aurelius ended up with the whole thing Lee had to stifle a small laugh from escaping his throat since the boy certainly had nerve. Being addressed as 'Lee-kun' caused Lee to simply stare at Aurelius slightly amused by the boy for the moment.
"True defending yourself is certainly with in your right. However while it is true that Kuyo Shibari seemed to be the only effective binding. I believe we could think of something. Not to mention have you immobilized for for even a few moments is enough to kill you with some of the faster Taicho. Still you are right you have very little worry. Hei was certainly powerful but I think we will manage just fine without him."

There was something Aurelius had said that disturbed Lee a little. Whether Aurelius had meant to or not he had said 'interesting man he is' not interesting man he was. Was that perhaps a sign of things to come? Or was it a simple mistake? Who could ever really tell however it put the potential of why Tsukiko was in such a hurry to leave in a slightly disturbing new light. Could this leader perhaps bring back the dead? No surely not right? Well they did all have odd abilities compared to Shinigami... Deciding to keep the idea to himself he let Aurelius continue back on Eriko for the moment despite having been an answer to Lee's question. The boy was becoming more amusing by the second and Lee found that despite his earlier status as an enemy Lee sort of liked the kid for some odd reason. Returning to Lee for the remainder of what he had to say Lee listened to everything Aurelius said having denied information on his leader and home yet giving some on Dolor.

"I see so his distortions are limited by range huh? That is certainly a useful bit of info. When he does so he uses markings as well usually hidden hm... I see thank you for the information. I realize you didn't have to give any. Bye Aurelius-kun." Returning the earlier favor of the name Lee turned away from Aurelius having over all enjoyed the small chat with the boy. "Perhaps another time." As soon as the boy left the room it wasn't long until Eriko's voice drifted towards him and he turned towards her. Eriko was asking for his advice on the situation something that Lee felt he had no business helping her with just yet. She was a Captain now and would have to make decisions such as this now.

"I think it is entirely up to you really. You are a Taicho now and these types of decisions are yours to make now. No more do you have to listen to what someone else tells you to do if you choose otherwise. Obviously we all still answer to the Sotaicho but I do not foresee that being much of a problem. However there is one thing I would like to do now that you are no longer my subordinate." Walking over to Eriko with surprising speed Lee knelt down in front of his former Fukutaicho removing her hand delicately with his left resting his right hand on her cheek gently brushing back a few stray locks of hair. Next he leaned in a planted a soft kiss on her lips pulling away after a second or two then starting to raise up. Once he was standing again he touched his lips to her forehead then returned to his previous spot and turned back around to look out the window. "Do what you will Eriko-taicho. I believe you will make the right choice for the right reasons." Ah now back to his thoughts on the possibility that Aurelius could have said is on purpose. At least until Eriko decided what she wanted to do and if she wanted his help to achieve Bankai. Her reaction to the light kiss was also something he was waiting for. It may have seemed odd which was the reason he didn't go for a deeper more passionate kiss just in case such an action wasn't really wanted.

Honestly, it should not be that much of a problem for a Taicho to request help from her colleagues but as he continued, his response became more sensible to her mind until his last sentence. Despite how she felt personally about Masashi-Taicho, Eriko was put back into shock when he knelt by her and even more so as his lips touched hers lightly but briefly. It was too short. Then, the kiss on her forehead and he left for his seat, facing away from her. Eriko was grateful for this if only for the sake that he did not see her furiously flushed cheeks.

"Yes, Masashi-Taicho," she said, the words coming out at a measured pace, "I still do want to achieve Bankai. I have to but I would like to speak with Tsukiko and Aurelius before I meet you on the Training Grounds for that particular training." She was standing now and staring at the back of his head. That was it. There was no reason for her to stay any longer but that kiss, her first kiss. Eriko shook her head. It was nothing. "Also, I was simply asking your opinion becuase I valued it. Of course, the final decision is mine." Her feet were supposed to turn towards the door and walk through it perhaps. Instead, she waited to hear what he would say about her plan and may be gather some courage to ask about that moment which occurred a few minutes ago between them.

Lee continued to stare out the window yet he was no longer dwelling on his thoughts and instead listening for any indication that Eriko was either going to say something else or leave. It wasn't long before Eriko spoke up about what she intended to do which sounded perfectly fine to him. She obviously wanted to see about the different fighting style or having Aurelius put her in better shape or something of the sorts. Also not really feeling the need to comment Lee closed his eyes expecting to hear her leave yet she didn't. Now Eriko was speaking up again about valuing his opinion which was obviously a small hint she wanted his opinion on her plan or whatever. Standing up again Lee walked to the front of his desk and leaned against it facing her his zanpakuto still tied to his waist as he gazed into her gray orbs.
"I think that is a fine plan. Just remember do what makes you happy. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something that you really don't want to do. Again I know you will make the right choice in the end." Giving her a slightly amused look waiting for her to leave again before Lee found something to do until she was ready. What exactly that was he wasn't sure but Lee was confident something would present itself eventually. "I suppose I will see you in the training grounds though now you must make another decision Eriko-taicho. My training grounds or yours. It makes very little difference to me though it might help you to familiarize yourself with your own training grounds."
